Join SAS as a Revenue Manager – an analytical role on a commercial ground
Revenue Management is responsible for maximizing SAS revenue. This is done by offering the right
product to the right customer, at the right price, in the right market at the right time of day!
■ Competition monitoring on daily basis level
■ Work closely with Pricing, Network, Operations, Sales and Marketing
The Revenue Management function is part of the SAS Commercial division and responsible for
pricing and optimization of SAS passenger revenue. Revenue Management consists of RM
Distribution & Salability, Pricing and the four Revenue Optimization teams Denmark, Norway,
Sweden and Cross-market.

Job Description
■ Ability to make commercial / financial decisions
We are looking for Revenue Managers to the Revenue Optimization teams within Revenue
Management, based at Frösundavik, Stockholm. In this role you will be responsible for the revenue
optimization of a number of routes with approximately 400-900 MSEK in annual passenger
revenue.
■ Strong experience of working in Excel
As Revenue Manager your mission is to set the price for every seat on all departures on your
routes. You will work with all tasks related to revenue optimization – from updating passenger
prognoses and price sensitivity to benchmark and adjustments of prices, to route follow-up and
improvement actions.
■ Higher academic education (preferably technical, economical or mathematical orientation)
■ Programming experience is an advantage
■ Relevant previous work experience is an advantage (e.g., pricing, optimization, planning,
experience in the travel industry)
Personal qualities
■ Strong analytical skills – ability to compile data, clarify issues and present conclusions
During a typical day, your tasks will range from overall discussions about the traffic program, to
steering strategy for the coming year, in-depth analysis of booking patterns, and fine tuning to get
the maximum benefit of the coming weekend's flights.
■ Result-oriented team player with commercial understanding
To succeed in this role you will use a combination of optimization systems, analytic tools,
understanding for competitors and market development and dialogue with colleagues and other
departments within SAS.
■ Change prone - thrive with continuous change and contribute to the development of daily
work
This is a stimulating job with a large revenue responsibility in an active environment. In the job as a
