Machinery consulting for the Insurance Industry, Law Firms, and Manufacturing Firms. Our company
handles production equipment, turbines, compressors, mining, textile and sawmill equipment. We have
worked in over 47 states as well as 10 different countries. We have worked hurricanes, floods,
earthquakes, fires, explosions and various loss situations for over 20 different insurance companies as
well as numerous Law Firms and Manufacturers. My duties include field inspections, photography,
evidence preservation, report writing, cost analysis and clerking work.
Pembro Consultants/Induction Heating & Welding, Inc.
1988 to April 1992
Position – Field Engineer/Plant Manager
At this firm I had dual duties to do machinery consulting for the insurance industry and I was
responsible for the management of the machine repair shop for Induction Heating & Welding. Along
with supervising employees during repair operations, I ordered parts, scheduled shipments, quoted repair
jobs and marketed for new work.

Position - Field Engineer
My duties at KWA involved fire investigation, vehicular accident reconstruction, and mechanical inspections
of vehicles involved in accidents, and machinery losses. All of the above work was for the Insurance
Industry in a forensic involvement. I was involved with all aspects of fieldwork, photography, evidence
preservation, and report writing. I also gained extensive experience in deposition’s as well as court
testimony.

equipment, heat exchangers and steam equipment.

Articles and Publications
In the past Industrial Loss Consulting, Inc. produced a monthly news letter. I wrote a column for that
letter each month on various topics specific to the commercial machinery industry.
I also have worked as a presenter from 2000 to 2004 for the PLRB (Property Loss Research Bureau)
teaching classes on machinery inspection to property loss adjusters. I have also co-taught classes at the
Indianapolis Police Academy on fire investigation of electrical fires.
