Dear Parents and Guardians of our Grade Eight Students:
Before we realize, it will be time for your child to graduate from St. Leo. We want to properly
commemorate, in an attractive Yearbook, all of the happy years the children have spent here together.
The book is a vehicle for students to express their feelings on their life at St. Leo, and to thank those
who have been instrumental in their early years of schooling. It is also an opportunity for you, as
parents and guardians, to congratulate them and wish them well as they embark on a new chapter in
their educational career. This year, the preparation of the Yearbook will be done by a committee of
students, under the watchful eyes of Mrs. Rodriguez, Mr. Rodriguez, Mrs. De Silvestri and Mr.
DeSilvestri.
The cost of the Yearbook is approximately $3,000. A minimum of $100 worth of ads per student will
be needed in order to pay the balance of the yearbook.
You can help defray the cost by becoming a patron or by selling ads to family, friends, and businesses.
The cost of ads are as follows:
1/8 of a page........................$10.00
1/4 of a page..........................20.00
1/2 of a page..........................35.00
A full page..............................50.00
Sponsor listing (limited to one line).......$5.00
All ads must be handed in along with the
advertising contract page attached to this
letter. Extra contract pages can be obtained from Mrs.
Rodriguez.
Send in your ads exactly as you wish them to appear, i.e., hand-written ads will appear as handwritten ads in the yearbook. Please make sure the ads fit within the margins of the ad order forms.
Please write or type in black only.
Samples of ads are included in this packet. The sponsor sheet is also attached as well as blank ad
sheets. Your child’s teacher has additional copies of ad and sponsor sheets. Please note that friends,
neighbors, and family members may take ads also. Business persons may submit a business card if
desired. Family photos are also acceptable.
An immediate 50% of the total cost of the books is required for payment now. Therefore, we are
asking that all ads be returned AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, BUT NO LATER THAN
Thursday, January 15, 2015. Make all checks payable to St. Leo School. Attach the check to your
advertising contract, and be sure to include your completed ad or sponsor message. Return all ads and
payments to Mrs. Rodriguez in an envelope marked “Yearbook Ads.”
Take the time to sit with your family and decide what message you would like to express. This will
allow for a beautiful book for your child to keep for many years to come.
