The MultiFlex service – even without QoS setting by the service provider – can transfer
Ethernet frames with voice or multimedia traffic, in addition to LAN data transmission.
However in some cases (when requested by you) it can be necessary to give priority
and protection against non-prioritized traffic for your prioritized traffic via a customer network
interconnection point also through the service provider’s network.
With the QoS service the service provider shares the port rate set at the service access point
between two priority classes.
