About Us
Eligibility
The 32BJ Training Fund is a joint
labor-management partnership that offers
training to eligible participants at no
cost. The fund is supported by contributions negotiated between 32BJ SEIU and
participating employers. Our mission is
to train every participant to grow to the
next level. We want to continually raise
the standards of our industry by providing
32BJ members with the tools they need
to meet the challenges of a changing
industry.
Eligibility for the 32BJ Training Fund
is fully detailed in the Summary Plan
Description (SPD) available online at training.32bjfunds.com or by calling Member
Services at 800-551–32BJ (3225), Mon–Fri,
8am–5pm.
At the 32BJ Training Fund everything we do
supports that one goal of making it possible for our members to get the education,
training, and skills they need to grow in the
quickly changing property services industry.
Your eligibility depends on the particular
collective bargaining agreement or participation agreement covering your employment. Generally, the waiting period for
training is 90 days unless otherwise
specified in your collective bargaining
agreement or participation agreement.
If you become ineligible and are out of
work for more than 91 days, you may be
required to complete the waiting period
again. If you are taking a class when you
become ineligible you will be allowed to
complete your classes for that trimester. If
you are participating in a year-long course
and you lose eligibility during the second
trimester, you may complete the third
trimester of that course. However, once
you lose eligibility, you may not enroll in
any new courses.

ON-SITE CLASSES
If you, a management company, or
building owner have 10 or more eligible
participants interested in attending a
class and have appropriate space, the
32BJ Training Fund can present classes
marked with the symbol
at your building. Call 212-388-2124 for more details.
CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT
FOR LEARNING
Participants who take Courses through
the 32BJ Training Fund are hardworking
people who make a commitment to their
personal and professional development.
Our Rules & Regulations are distributed at the start of each Course. You are
expected not only to read the Rules &
Regulations, but also to show your fellow
students the respect they deserve by
abiding by these rules.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
Minimum attendance of 80 percent
is required. Unfortunately, academic
and computer classes that do not have
regular attendance of at least eight students may be closed or combined. We
will do our best to accommodate all
students in another section. Ask your
instructor to assign make-up work to
improve your attendance rate.
“I enjoy taking classes at
the 32BJ Training Fund
and am looking to become a
Superintendent someday.”

Green
Buildings
Green buildings are a recent
trend in the building industry. Many building owners
and operators want their
buildings to earn a Green
certification so they are
recognized as buildings
that are efficiently run and
offer a better quality of life
for residents. In turn, these
owners and operators want
to hire building staff who
understand Green building
concepts, strategies and
technology.
32BJ Training has developed a series
of courses that teach the best practices
for sustainable operation and maintenance (O&M). Our courses offer Green
training for residential multifamily buildings and commercial buildings and the
opportunity to earn industry recognized
certificates. We also offer courses on the
LEED rating system used by high performance buildings and the opportunity
to earn LEED Professional certifications.
To see the recommended training path,
view the Career Track at the front of
this catalog.
If you have any questions or want
to learn more about Green Building
Training, look at the 32BJ Training
website: training.32bjfunds.com or

Warunki kwalifikacyjne korzystania z Funduszu
Szkoleniowego 32BJ zostały szczegółowo
podane w streszczeniu planu (Summary Plan
Description–SPD) dostępnym w Internecie pod
Zazwyczaj
okres oczekiwania na szkolenie wynosi 90
dni, chyba, że w Państwa zbiorowym układzie
pracy oraz porozumieniu członkowskim, ustalono inaczej.
Jeśli utracicie Państwo uprawnienia i nie
będziecie pracować przez ponad 91 dni, może
Was ponownie obowiązywać okres oczekiwania.
odpowiednim lokalem, Fundusz Szkoleniowy
32BJ może poprowadzić zajęcia szkoleniowe
oznaczone symbolem w Waszym budynku.
Proszę zatelefonować pod numer 212-5392808 w celu uzyskania dalszych informacji.

swoich studiujących kolegów i koleżanek
szacunku, na jaki zasługują.

POWITANIE
ZASADY FREKWENCJI
Wymagana jest przynajmniej 80 procentowa
frekwencja. Na zajęciach typu akademickiego
oraz lekcjach posługiwania się komputerem
wymagana jest regularna obecność przynajmniej ośmiu studentów–w przeciwnym
razie zajęcia te mogą zostać zlikwidowane
lub połączone z innymi. W takim przypadku
dołożymy wszelkich starań, by ulokować
wszystkich studentów w innej grupie. Uwaga!
W pewnych okolicznościach instruktor
może przydzielić danym studentom zadania
uzupełniające w celu poprawy ich wskaźnika
frekwencji.
KURS / PRZYSPIESZONY KURS–
WYMOGI ZASADNICZE
Uczestnictwo w niektórych kursach i
przyspieszonych kursach wymaga ukończenia
kursu przygotowawczego–zanim będziecie
się Państwo mogli na nie zapisać. Niektóre
kursy wymagają podstawowych umiejętności
z zakresu czytania i matematyki. Opanowanie

regjistroheni.
Manhatan. Për vendndodhjet e tjera,
kontaktoni menaxherin tuaj të vendndodhjeve.
NJOFTIM RRETH RREGULLORES
