Title: “Acoustic-Phonetic Decoding & Robustness in Speech Recognition Systems”.
The thesis focused on improving performance of speech recognition systems in
two ways: First, by invention a new approach for multilevel segmentation in
acoustic-phonetic decoding knowledge base systems. Secondly, by increasing
robustness of speech recognition systems working in noisy environment by using
Artificial Intelligent technics as Neural networks and fuzzy logic to adapt systems’
parameters to the noisy environment.
