The NCI-designated Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC) and the Division of Hematology-Oncology within the Vanderbilt
University School of Medicine announce a search to recruit additional faculty member(s) with expertise in benign hematology,
hematologic malignancies, and/or stem cell transplantation. The Hematology (benign and malignant) and Transplant Program is
experiencing significant growth. Successful candidates will be attending faculty in the Division of Hematology-Oncology and will
have the opportunity to play a vital role in the multidisciplinary team model. The team is currently supported by 16 mid-level
providers. Applicants are expected to conduct vibrant academic programs with expansion of clinical volume and a focus on
clinical and translational research. Applicants must possess MD or MD/PhD degrees. Academic rank of Assistant, Associate or
Professor at Vanderbilt School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements.

disorders) and willing to lead clinical trials in this specialty (1 position).
• Board certified hematologist-oncologist with clinical expertise in benign and malignant hematology (1 position).
• Board certified hematologist-oncologist with additional training in stem cell transplantation. This candidate will be part
of a dynamic stem cell transplant team and would ideally have an academic focus in novel preparative regimen, transplant
immunology, or prevention of post-transplant relapse and lead clinical trials (2 positions).
• Board certified hematologist-oncologist with an academic focus in plasma cell disorders. This candidate would ideally be a
clinical investigator and develop a diversified portfolio of clinical trials for new diagnosed and relapsed myeloma (1 position).
