Young Start-up Talent offers young entrepreneurs the
opportunity to link and work with key business
professionals within the local area.
The initiative works with over 80 local and national
businesses who contribute to a prize fund worth over
£50,000 in each of the five areas it operates. This
enables vital support and guidance for young start-up
businesses ensuring a more sustainable future. The
workshops are currently delivered to over 40,000
youngsters across the South East. The young
entrepreneurs are taken into the ‘real’ business world to
work on presentation, communication, planning,
business networking, marketing, sales, financials, legals
and media training.
Battle of the Businesses for
Sussex’s Young Entrepreneurs
Young entrepreneurs in Sussex will be flexing
their business savvy at the Young Enterprise
Trade Fair on Saturday 21st March in the
Carfax in Horsham town centre from 9.00
a.m. – 4.00 p.m. and will see the seven
companies from Millais School (Horsham)
and Farlington School (Horsham) taking part.

generation of entrepreneurs and prepare
young people for the world of work. This year about 50 students between the

functions of a normal business, including
sales, marketing, finance, manufacturing and
record keeping. They set up a bank account,
