International Baccalaureate Programme Application Procedure September 2016 Registration Process 1. Submission of Grade 11 documentation by applicant to the IB Coordinator must include: a. Completion of IB Application sheet b. Completion of a Parent/Student questionnaire c. A copy of an up to date transcript and your last semester end report card. d. Enclose a post-dated cheque for $550.00, dated for September 1st, 2016. Please note: The IBDP has a cost of $550.00 per semester over the total 4 semesters of the programme. Further payments occur at the beginning of the semester. You can pay by cheque, money order, cash or using School Cash Online. e. The deadline for submission is Friday, February 5, 2016. Note: If you have any concerns regarding the financial commitment of the IBDP please contact their IB school principal. A payment plan as well as financial aid is available for students in need. All matters will be handled with the strictest of confidence and privacy. 2. They are able to assess and understand their strengths and limitations in order to support their learning and personal development. 4 Important Program Information: The IB Programme at Ancaster, Glendale and Westdale is considered a tier three program by the HWDSB. Please visit the following Board website http://www.hwdsb.on.ca/ to determine your designated school based on your current home address (Note: intention to move in the future does not change this status until documents can be provided of official place of residence). Parents and students accepted to the IB Programme at their designated IB school are invited to remain at that school as long as the are registered within the IB Diploma Programme. Students who withdraw from the IBDP must return to their home high school. Transportation: The HWDSB will provide transportation for out of catchment students. A HSR bus pass will be provided at no cost to the student. Program Fees: The fees for this program are $550.00 per semester, to a total of $2200. Cheques are payable to Ancaster High School or Glendale Secondary School or Westdale Secondary School. Fees are required to cover the costs charged by the International Baccalaureate Organization. Students in need of financial support should contact their Principal for assistance. Students graduate from the IB Programme with an Internationally recognized IB Diploma and the Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma. All fees are nonrefundable.
