You may like to consider providing comments on the style and tone, the structure and organisation, the content and coverage, and the general accessibility of the material. The System of Environmental-Economic Accounting for agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (SEEA AFF) comes to timely in that the Global Strategy for Improving Agricultural and Rural Statistics is about to be developed by almost all countries of the world. It's a shame for some countries that have already completed to implement agricultural strategies without taking into account this new project (SEEAAFF). It would be interesting if they take into account before. Document content is really interesting. But some modifications, depending on the context and availability of data for some countries are required. It is for example some interesting products for a country that has been omitted. I would mention in passing, for example: - For agricultural products are omitted beans, potatoes and bananas, which are extremely important in the diet of most households in Burundi. - In the forest section, some important products have been set aside. We considered only plantation timber, forgetting the timber, firewood and certain timber products that are used extensively as charcoal. The document is very important in the establishment of Global Strategy for Improving Agricultural and Rural Statistics. Indeed, agricultureand the environment areclosely linkeddomains. The improvementof the firstdepends ongoodenvironmental conditions. However, some countries do not have complete statistics environments. Thus, a common methodology for data collection in this area is necessary. Part II: Technical and other comments In the box below please supply any additional comments including those of a more technical nature. Please reference your responses with the relevant paragraph numbers or section numbers. For questions of technical order, there are data that are needed in the construction of the accounts but which are not available at all or at least difficult to obtain. For example, data related to post harvest losses are not available and are difficult to obtain. There is also data where it is necessary to harmonize the measurement unit. This is because often the import or export of animals for example, there are countries where these data are expressed by heads of animals by species and others are in kilograms. We specify this because that was a problem at CountryStat when we had to post on the web site import / export data expressed in animal heads as we had them in kilograms. So we recommend that the units must be harmonized and adapted in the same units. 1.2 The scope and approach of SEEA AFFon the table1.1.(pge 4): there isthere are areas that are omitted such as: - Biodiversity; -Waste; -Coastal and marine resources. 3.5 SEEA AFF Combined presentations: table 3.5. (pge 35)Some food crops can be added such as beans, cassava and banana or add other food crops like on table 3.6. Table 3.6. (other livestock products): Add hides (les peaux).
