Community Day of Service held at Poway Lake.
Vaisakhi Jor Mela held on May 17, 2014 was a huge
success. A big thanks to all the volunteers and sangat
that joined in. A big appreciation goes out to the team of
Raj Singh Ghai, Gurinder Singh Walia and Gulzar Singh
Hunjan that helped organize this event. We are hoping
that we can do this bigger and better next year. Please
provide feedback to the organizers and sevadaars, so we
can make things better next year.
SD Sikhs Blood Drive
It's time for our annual Sarbat Da Bhalla Blood Drive.
Commemorating the shaheedi gurpurab of Guru Arjun
Dev ji and in remembrance of the 1984 Operation
Bluestar, we will be organizing a blood donation drive at
the Poway Gurdwara on June 22nd, 2014. Please give
your generous blood donation. Each donation saves
three lives!!!

new members to join the Board. The whole board
decides on the membership based on seva on a
committee, residency etc. We encourage our local sangat
members to join a committee and serve. We need
qualified members for our board.
Punjabi School Update
It is hard to believe but another successful year is over.
Punjabi School Graduation is on June 8, 2014.
Registration is now open for the school year 2014-2015.
