Where to Find Tutoring
Spring Semester 2013
Professors’ and/or Instructors’ office hours are a student’s first resource for additional help in all course work. See your
syllabi for this information. This schedule is subject to change as programs update their offerings. Check with the Dept. or the
CACD for updates. A list of students who will do private, one-one tutoring is available in the CACD-Lighty 180 and
at http://cacd.wsu.edu/tutor. Rates start at $10.00/hour and fees are collected by the individual tutor.

Thompson Hall Computer Lab –Room 1: Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-9:00pm ALEXS is available on these machines as well as any
other program used in a WSU math class. A tutor is available for help. Please bring your WSU ID card with you.

eTutoring
FREE on-line help available for all WSU undergraduates, 7 days a week. Help is available in Accounting, Anatomy and
Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Math (Developmental through Calculus), Outpatient Medical Coding,
MS Office 2007, Physics, Spanish, Statistics, Web Development (xHTML, CSS, and Adobe Dreamweaver), and Writing.
To log in go to https://sites.google.com/site/wetcetutorinfo/choose the Western eTutoring Consortium. Then choose Washington
State University System as your institution in the dropdown box. Your user name is your WSU Network ID and your password
is wsuonline. This will bring up your Account Profile. To verify your account you will need to add your student ID# as your
institutional ID. You should also change your password at this time. Finally, please read and accept the eTutoring Terms and
Conditions by checking the “I agree to all terms and conditions” box at the bottom of the page. Once this is completed, you are
ready to begin by clicking on one of the eTutoring Resources on the welcome page. If you choose eChat, colored tutor icons
will show which tutors are online. Click on the icon you wish to “chat” with. Note that you must set your browser to accept
pop-ups. If a tutor isn’t available for eChat, you can submit your question as an eQuestion. You can also submit a piece of your
writing to the eWriting Lab & receive a response from a writing tutor within 48 hours. Weekly Tutor Schedules are available on
the lower left side of the welcome page. If you need assistance logging in, please email Sarah Bergfeld at sbergfeld@wsu.edu
and be sure to include your full name, your username, and your password.

closed week. We have coffee, microwaves, refrigerator & lots of whiteboards for working problems. The room is open from 6ammidnight. If you need help, there are always students in Dana 134 & someone can probably help with the problem.
MSA Tutorial Program
All in CUB #307 (MSA Office). Sponsored by the Muslim Student Association. Free for all students. This is a dedicated one-on-one
math tutoring program. Many students take advantage of this particular tutoring program because of the guidance they receive from
tutors at every step. Most of our tutors are PhD students who have taken most undergraduate math classes.
