2 - Weekend at the Beach
Enjoy a Friday-through-Sunday weekend with a group of your closest friends in the relaxed and
neighborly North End of Virginia Beach. This cozy, yet spacious, 87th Street beach cottage has easy
beach access. A four-bedroom, three-bath, relaxing retreat; sleeps 10 to 14 people. No need to pack
any beach gear. Included with the package is a colorful tote, two oversized towels, two beach chairs,
beach umbrella and waterproof foam mat. Pack a picnic using the 12-piece melamine dinnerware set
and six-piece margarita set. Fill the rolling 40-quart Igloo cooler with ice to keep the margaritas
frozen and the cosmos cold. All this plus additional goodies will make this weekend one you'll wish

3 - Cheer on the Lady Monarchs from a Sky Box at the Ted
Twelve fans can view the action in comfort and cheer the Lady Monarchs, winners of 16 consecutive
CAA championships, for a home game from some of the best seats in the house. This box will
accommodate 10 more if you wish to purchase additional tickets. Food and drink are available, but
not included. Game date to be mutually agreed upon with donors.

4 - Wintergreen Weekend
A weekend to remember ... enjoy spring flowers, fall foliage, or the slippery slopes. This fourbedroom vacation home on Wintergreen Mountain is available for a Friday-through-Sunday
weekend anytime of the year on a mutually agreeable date with the owners. A great destination for
rest, relaxation, sporting pleasures ... or all of the above! Comfortable accommodates 10, with two
master bedrooms and a bunkroom with bath for kids. Plus, there's plenty of room for sleeping bags.
Skiing enthusiasts will be delighted; the house is within walking distance of the slopes. A pair of
one-day, all session lift tickets is included, compliments of Gregg Bradley.

5 - “Riverside Rendezvous” - Cocktail Cruise and Dinner for Eight
Enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres while socializing and watching the sun set at the lovely waterfront
home of George and Susan Nottingham. A four-star gourmet dinner will be prepared by Chef Sally
Schmidt, who has wowed restaurant goers at several prestigious Manhattan establishments. Her
emphasis for this night will be on locally-grown organic products and meats. This enchanted
evening begins with a cocktail cruise on the Elizabeth and Lafayette Rivers, courtesy of Ellen and
Barry Moss. This "Riverside Rendezvous" will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable date.

14 - “A Day in the Life of a Photo Journalist”
Spend a day with Virginian-Pilot photographer Stephen Katz and find out why people often say a
picture is worth a thousand words. Katz shoots a variety of assignments, from Navy homecomings
to football games. You or your child will be able to experience the entire process from start to
finish. This is a wonderful opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into making The
Virginian-Pilot one of the world’s most recognized newspapers in photojournalism. Includes a gift
