TESTIMONIALS The following are e-mails and letters we have received over the years from current and former players of the World Class Basketball Association and Conant Feeder Basketball. I can say unequivocally that Dan Krauser does and outstanding job of preparing youths for the challenges and rigors of high school basketball. He uses age-appropriate teaching skills at all levels, and has achieved an enviable success rate as demonstrated by the long list of World Class and Conant Feeder Alumni who wind up on high school varsity and college rosters. I have watched firsthand as graduates of Dan’s program have achieved success at higher levels, due in large part to the training they received as part of the World Class and Conant Feeder Programs. Jim Sotos -- Elk Grove Village, IL I wanted to take a moment and write a note to support the great basketball program that the WCBA program offers both pre-high school and high school boys become better prepared both mentally and physically to play high school basketball. The WCBA philosophy statement is really the foundation of the program. I can say without a doubt that this is truly practiced by the coaches both during practice and during games. All other aspects of the program branch out from this statement. My son and I entered WCBA during his 7th and 8th grade years and practiced and played with the teams. If I had known earlier about this program, I would have certainly enrolled Doug in the 5th grade and got another 2 years of learning the game. The program will definitely prepare your son for high school basketball both as a player and knowing what to expect from coaches and players at that level when he arrives. In conclusion, I can say that if you’re a parent wondering about WCBA, you really have found the place where basketball is taught correctly and fairly. Shayne & Doug Murphy -- Lake Zurich, IL When we came to the WCBA program some four years ago my son was a player with a lot of heart and some promising signs of athleticism. We entered this program in the 7th grade at the advice of a friend who was also a coach for my son's Park District team. I can say without question it was the best decision we could have made for the enhancement of my son's basketball growth. This is true not just from a skills standpoint, but also from a basketball IQ and preparation for High School level play standpoint. Over his years in the program we have enjoyed exposure to various types of coaches and coaching styles. Some he liked more than others, but all were a very important part of his growth as a player. This basketball program has built, and is continuing to build an enviable legacy of achievements. At my son's age level we did not quite have the kind of success as some of the other age groups from a win and loss standpoint. For us that was Ok. This wasn't about building a case of trophies and medals. Sure those are nice. For my son this was more about how to continue to grow as a basketball player and develop the necessary skills to compete at the High School level. Those things have more than been accomplished. I am indebted to Dan Krauser and this program for that. This is my son's favorite sport. We decided fairly early on that this is where we would focus his effort, and the results we have enjoyed from making this decision have been more than worth it to him. He has learned how to win and to lose. How to play for different coaches with different expecatations and demands. How to be ready for High School level play and what the expectations will be, and what is required to even have that opportunity. This program reaches all the areas of importance. It has also been very rewarding and fun my son as well as for us as parents and family. We have developed friendships both with coaches and other parents on the team. Imagine going to a High School game and having your son playing against a couple of his teamates from the WCBA program. If your son loves basketball and wants to develop, get better, and be ready for High School then this program will succeed in accomplishing those goals. It is a two way street though. You get out of the program what you put into it. Your son needs to have the dedication and desire to get better and be willing to put in the work. The program has all the tools in the toolbox to help you along the way. I recommend playing year round. This helps also. You would be surprised at what that extra effort can achieve. I have seen major improvements moving from Fall to Spring or Spring to Summer. We will continue to be a part of the program through the balance of his High School playing days. It will be a sad day when all this is behind us, but the memories we have and the friendships developed will likely last a life time. Larry Buchwalter (Elk Grove Village / Conant High School) My son received number one coaching from coaches who have been in the coaching business for years. My son started World Class in his 8th grade year of school. World Class definitely helped him become the basketball player he is today. He is definitely ready for high school. Dawn -- Schaumburg, IL My son Mark has improved 110% with the help of your program. Lori Monti -- Schaumburg, IL Alec benefited greatly and you run a nice program. Alec went to the St. Charles North High School Camp with about 80 kids and he was one of the five invited to practice with the high schoolers. Chuck Eickert -- St. Charles, IL I wanted to compliment you on a great program you run. Michael made the Freshman basketball team at Dundee Crown as the 6th man for the “A” team. My other son, Thomas, just made the Dundee Crown 6th grade team. Even though Thomas only played one year with WCBA, it was apparent that his skills are above the other boys. Thank you again!!! Laura Rice -- Lake in the Hills, IL I wanted to say thank you. You did an excellent job of keeping myself and my wife in the loop as to what was going on from week to week. My son Neco learned a lot and enjoyed the Spring season. You guys have some great kids in the program and I think much of that has to do with the way the coaches handle themselves. Im very excited about having Neco in the program and look forward to his development. Roily X Utria -- Bloomingdale, IL What a terrific program. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our experience with your program. My son Michael improved tremendously. Paul DiGioia -- Elk Grove Village, IL Tony is enjoying his time playing with World Class. I also appreciate your communications. It is great to get such timely information and your thoughts on how the team is doing. Beth & Mitch Kasper -- Arlington Heights, IL THANK YOU so much. I have to say I am extremely impressed with your organized, thourough information. Diana Horton -- Elgin, IL Brandon’s mother and I are very pleased with the program and the dramatic progress Brandon has made over the Summer months. I want to make sure you are aware of how pleased we are with the WCBA Program. I wanted to inform you that my son Chris just made the Prospect High School Freshman Basketball Team. Thank you for all your efforts in making him a better player. I know that participating in the World Class Program has made a significant difference in his playing ability as well as giving him confidence he needed to succeed. Frank Burns -- Mt. Prospect, IL I think you are doing a fine job for the team and program for my son. Your success should be based on the players in your system getting better and I for one can tell yout hat the progress I’ve seen over the past 2 years has been great. Anthony L. Nance -- Elgin, IL To whom is may concern regarding the WCBA Basketball Program: I wanted to take a moment and write a note to support the great basketball program that the WCBA program offers both pre-high school and high school boys become better prepared both mentally and physically to play high school basketball. Shayne & Doug Murphy -- Lake Zurich, IL Thanks again for all the encouragement and positive reinforcement you dish out to the boys. The respect for ones opponent and for the game as well as the intensity you preach is not falling on deaf ears. Lukas really, and I mean really, loves every aspect of your program. Please keep challenging Lukas to be all the player he can be. Jim Osmundsen -- Barrington, IL Our son has grown as a player through World Class Basketball. In the past, he always played the same position because he’s tall. With World Class, he plays all positions and gets exposure to every aspect of the game. His ball handling has gotten much better because of it. Kathy Von Bergen -- Rolling Meadows, IL I just wanted you to know how much Chris and Brandon have learned this season and how much they enjoyed it. It definitely gave Chris more confidence, which he needed and which paid off as both of them made their jr. high teams. We will definitely be back. Sue Burns -- Mt. Prospect, IL I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your dedication and support during our tenute with World Class Basketball. The skills you helped Robbie developed and the lessons he learned will help him tremendously in high school. Rob Tonge -- Dundee, IL To whom it may concern: I am pleased to recommend and endorse both coach Dan Krauser and the Conant Feeder Basketball Program to any player who wants to bring his game to the next level. Dan has very strong basketball skills, displays professionalism and has the ability to work with and develop athletes and students of all ages. Don Moulton -- Elk Grove Village, IL We truly want to thank you for the utmost professionalism in coaching my 2 sons on your World Class Basketball Association Team. It is a pleasure having a coach who is extremely knowledgeable about the game that also has the great ability of management and organization. Our boys have really improved their skills over the last year. We personally spend some good time working with our children on the basketball skills. In addition, they attend many college basketball games and learn from those players. However, we saw them make the “next step” while being a part of your team. Their fundamentals and mental toughness have really improved. Most important…we really see you take a personal interest in their development. You gave them the playing time they need against great competition and this is what we feel has given our children the improved confidence to be successful. Logan & Laura Simios -- Palatine, IL Luke had a fun time this Summer and I think his skills improved. I appreciated the well run practices and good communication. Thanks for all the effort from you and the other coaches. Karl -- St. Charles, IL Just wanted to send you a quick note of thanks. As you may be aware, Justin did make the Conant basketball team this week. He is very excited as basketball has become a passion for him. I believe Justin playing in your basketball program gave him the skills he needed to make the high school team. In addition, you and the coaches instill a hard work ethic in the boys which Justin has referred to on many occasions, which helps to separate out the boys you have trained versus those that do not go through your program. Jeff Sindewald – Schaumburg, IL “He loves it and so do I. I don’t care that they are losing games because the I feel that the competition is so much more and that he has developed already in this short period of time. I feel that his confidence level has gone up some and he is absorbing it all and chalking it all up as a learning experience. In his other league he gets MAD when they lose and I don’t see that with this league. I am so glad that you were able to work something out with me and I am looking forward to joining another season with you. Thanks again for everything!” Shannon Lund – South Elgin, IL Hi Dan, First off let me tell you how honored I have been to be a part of this program. As you know when I first sat down with you and Bill Wegener that I had heard a lot of stories in regards to lack of organization and scheduling etc. As you know I have been around now for the last 4 or five years. Your program has been nothing but well run and pretty darn organized. My son has become a better person and player because of your organization. I will also say that I have too. I really enjoy working with the players and meeting their families. I along with Connor have made lifelong friends due to our involvement in the program. Your commitment to your kids is a full time job and you really should give yourself a pat on the back for all you do. This big bash you threw for the program was outstanding. I was able to talk to tons of parents and kids and coaches. WE had a great time. Thank you so much for all you do. I know you get a lot of heat sometimes and you always take care of the most important things The Players. Keep up the good work. You are a good friend and I will always cherish the time I am involved with this program because of your hard work and dedication. Thanks again, Coach Joe Playing in the WCBA program has taught me many things. I think that the biggest thing that I carried over to High School basketball was learning how to and how important it is to properly take a charge while playing on the defensive side to the game. I can remember you saying that and also how much our High School coaches appreciate a player that is willing to do this and you were dead-on right. WCBA training taught me that with hard work you can achieve success both on the court and off. The WCBA coaching staff is truly dedicated to making us better players both physically and mentally. Another thing that I grew to like and appreciate was that some of our WCBA games that we played we were up against teams that were physically better that us at that time. I remember those losses and some of bruises that I took home after those games. What that did for me was to prepare me for the times that I would have to play against those type of teams and players that had some of those advantages, but it made ready to perform against them in many games and come out the better player at games end. I know for a fact that I was able to surprise a lot of players and actually frustrate them as to how I could prevent them from scoring or even playing at a level that they played against other teams. What I would say to WCBA players is do what the coaches are instructing, yes it can be hard at times, but if you keep working at it you will be very happy at what you will see in your future game at High School and maybe even beyond. Doug Murphy Power Forward / Co-Captain Lake Zurich High School Hey Dan, Eddie was named to the ALL AREA team. We are proud of his hard work and accomplishments. I truly believe his involvement at WCBA played a role in success. Thank You!! Ed & Karen O’Halloran – Streamwood, IL Our son has participated in the Fall and Winter leagues of World Class Basketball and we are thrilled with the progress he has made. We look forward to continuing his journey in the Spring and Summer leagues. He has not only matured and grown as a skilled player but as a young mad with character and leadership skills. The managers and coaches of this program are well respected and have a proven track record of advancing the careers of those players who show interest. We highly recommend this program to all parents looking to expose their players to the next level of competition and development. It is truly a World Class program!! Kim Kubiak - Woodstock, IL
