We are excited about your interest in applying for our 2015 Greater Vision Community Church Scholarships. The
Greater Vision Community Church Academic Enrichment & Tutoring Committee is committed to providing service
and support to students who are church members. One of our goals this year is to award deserving seniors from the
area high schools with a college scholarship. Please mail your completed application packet to our post office box by
April 17, 2015. After all application packets have been reviewed, you will be contacted to schedule an interview. We
pray that you will take advantage of this opportunity to become a recipient of our scholarship program.

School Transcript, Job Career Plan (Be creative), Documentation of Church and /or Community Service Hours.
**Scholarship Application will not be considered if the packet is not completed or mailed in by due date. (Job Career
Plan can be brought in during the interview).

Essay Guidelines: Typed only, 1 ½ pages, Doubled Spaced, 12 PT, Arial or Times New Roman Font
The title page should include your full name and the name of your high school.
Recommendation Letters (2): Submit a letter from a person within your community (neighbor, pastor) and a letter
from someone at your school (teacher, counselor).
Transcript: Submit your current high school transcript. The transcript should be stamped, sealed, or signed
by your school’s registrar.
Community Service Hours: Provide signed documentation of community service hours. (school, church or
other community-oriented organizations.
**The church will provide documentation of your church service and other church related activities.
