TALENTED KIDS PRESS
Congrats to Everybody for doing such great work in
our First Term! We are very PROUD of you all and
are now getting very excited about starting our show
material after Christmas for our 10 year Anniversary
Show which will be held in the Gaiety Theatre in late
2012. We also have a lot of other upcoming eventsThis Sunday 20th November, a lot of our Senior
Dancers are supporting JEDWARD in the Basketball
Arena; Our DANCE + MODELLING DAY will be held
on Sunday 11th December. After Christmas, we will
have a Singing Day, a Drama Day, our London Trip
during the February Mid Term, we will also be
involved in the Clane St Patrick’s Day Festival 2012
again, our Exam Grades, Open competitions and
much more.
Since our last edition, there have been many more
achievements and successes for the Talented Tots,
Kids, Teens and Adults which you can read about in
our Student News Section. If I have left anything out,
please let me know and I will include it in the next
issue. This Newsletter will also give details of
upcoming events and important dates for your diary.

GAIETY SHOW FUNDRAISING
We are hoping to hold a good few
Fundraising Events from now until our 10
Year Show. We will be holding a Raffle at
the Dance Day on Sunday 11th December
and would be very appreciative of any
Raffle Prize Donations.
If you would like to help out or have any
ideas for our fundraising, please see
Maureen- we are hoping to start a
committee for this and need all the help
possible.

We will be starting preparations for the
RIAM Stage School Group Exams and Solo
Stage School Performance Exam Grades
after Christmas. Please let us know after
Christmas if you would like to avail of
entering these exams. There is an exam
entry fee per grade.
Open Competitions in Drama and Singing
have already started. There will be more in
2012 for Drama, Singing and Dance.

“TOY SOLDIERS” Short Film-From
hundreds of auditionees, AARON
LOCKHART was cast as “BEAN”-a Lead
role in this Short Film which is filming in
Tullamore.
“LIFE’S A BREEZE” Feature filmSEANA KERSLAKE is cast in this feature
which will commence shooting in
December.
“STITCHES” Comedy Horror Feature
Film- In addition to our notification on
LORNA DEMPSEY being cast as “Mary”,
since then, CALLUM MALONEY has
been cast as “Young Bulger”; HARRY
BEHAN has also been cast as “Young
Richie”. Nicole O Reilly + DJ McGrath
both very much impressed the casting
directors and made it into the finals for the
castings.
A number of students have yet again been
on “ELEV8” on RTE 2. Most recently,
Twin sisters AISLING + SHANNON
CASSELLS have been presenting on the
programme and are often seen via skype
giving their opinions on different topics.
Other regular presenters from our school
are LILLIE HOBBS, GABRIELLE
LELEU + ORLA MORRIS TOOLEN.
Gabrielle + Orla were on recently with their
Mums CAROL MORRIS TOOLEN +
SINEAD LELEU competing for the title of
BEST MUM! On ELEV8’s “A Minute to
Win it” section, the following students have

GABRIELLE LELEU interviewed
JEDWARD about their new “Jim’ll Fix it
type” programme: JEDWARD-the
DREAM FACTORY. This programme
selected only a very small amount of
contestants to take part from open
auditions. SARAH MURRAY is one of the
lucky contestants to be selected from this
process and she will be featured as a
DANCER on an upcoming episode.

about his new role as bully “Gareth”
on new Teen programme “THE
IMPORTANCE OF BEING
WHATEVER”. Shane can also be
seen as “Micko” in upcoming
episodes of LOVE/HATE
JAMIE McCLEAN- has been cast
in the lead role of the feature film“SOCK IT OUT” which will film
after Christmas in Limerick.
