Persuasion Essay
The great North Carolina is a beautiful place to live and vacation during the
summer. There are the other regions like Piedmont and Coastal plains but they do not
compare to the beauty of the mountains. The mountains are the favorite of many visitors
at North Carolina, it is recommended by many pleased visitors. At the mountains we have
great places to visit like Asheville and Maggie Valley, these are great places to come and
look around. They have great hotels to stay and relax while visitors are here. This should
really by a place that everyone come to see because of its beautiful rivers, waterfalls,
forests, ranges, and of coarse the mountains. And one of the major rivers that we have
here is the wonderful French Broad.
The Piedmont is a beautiful place also but it can not compare to the
mountains. Piedmont does not have as many beautiful physical features as the mountains
do. The mountains have forest and waterfalls; the Piedmont has wooded areas and rising
land not as great as the mountains. And then there are the coastal plains, and they have
old beaches. The mountains have great furniture industries for moving into a someone’s
new home when they choose it. The temperature is great in the summer it only 75
degrees, winter can get pretty cold but it is not to bad its only 40 degrees or less. There is
great farming for fresh products like eggs and milk. If visitors ever get in a bad
predicament they can go to the wonderful medical facilities and be well cared for. So
that’s why the Piedmont can not compare to the mountains.
The mountains are so majestic and gorgeous to look at and live in. Many
people choose the mountains because of the scenery. There are many great touring sites
like Cherokee and Waynesville. There are the wonderful forests, they are beautiful to
walk thru and look at. Visitors can look at the wonderful scenery all day and night while
in the mountains. The precipitation usually only gets to 44” to more then 52”, and it can
get quite dry summer so they should drink lots of water. There are many other places to
tour and visit while here like Buncombe and Hickory. These are just the start of all the
wonderful things that come with the mountains.
The Piedmont is a nice place; visitors can enjoy the wonderful rivers like the
mountains also, and the Piedmonts own sand dunes. It has great touring sites like
Charlotte and Wake. Charlotte is a great big city where a lot of fun activities can be done.
Wake is where the state capital is located; its name is Raleigh, a great place. Here freeze
happens in the months of October and March; winter temperature can reach up to 36
degrees to 44 degrees. Precipitation usually goes to 44” to 48”, so don’t expect a lot but
expect a good amount of rain. There are great collages and universities that students
could attend. Triangle Park is a place where people can come and research. The Piedmont
is also a great place to live and visit in someone’s free time.
So in the end the mountains are a great place to come and gaze upon their
breathtaking beauty. And looking at its picturesque waterfalls and rivers. It is a great
place to take pictures and have the mountains in the background for different events, like
weddings and parties. If someone buys a house on our mountains they can look out their
window and look out upon nature before their very eyes. The mountains are the choice of
many because of its beauty, so please come down and take a visit visitors will be blown
away.
