We Want You to Know
School community to remember loved ones in All Saints Mass on November 1
Our school community will gather to celebrate the Feast of All Saints (a holy day of obligation)
the morning of Tuesday, November 1. Father Mike Byron (AHA’s former chaplain) will be our
guest presider. Campus Ministry students have been hard at work planning the mass.
In addition to honoring the Saints, we would like to recognize the loved ones from the AHA community
who have gone before us in faith. All students are invited to send the names of loved ones they’ve lost in
the past year to Mrs. Anhut at canhut@starsmail.org to be recognized at the All Saints Mass. Students are
asked to include a brief explanation of their connection to the person who died (grandmother, uncle,
friend).
Parents, if you have a loved one you would like honored at this mass you also may send the
name of the person and the person’s relationship to you to Mrs. Anhut. You also are welcome to
join us for liturgy. All school masses begin at 10:10am.
Coming soon! Nutritional analysis of AHA's Star Cafe lunch menu

Does your student need transcripts for college applications?
Students must make their transcript requests to the College and Career Center via Family
Connection at least two weeks in advance of posted admission deadlines to ensure materials
arrive in time. For example, students with application deadlines of November 15 must make
their transcript request in Family Connection by October 28. Also, students are responsible for
sending their test scores directly from ACT or SAT to the colleges. The Academy of Holy
Angels does not send test scores to colleges.
