A Big Problem

Do you recycle? If not, you should. Pollution is a big problem. People dump their garbage
everywhere. We are polluting our lakes and rivers. What can you do to help clean up the earth?
At Riverside Senior High, we want to improve the environment. Our principal and teachers
want us to recycle more. In fact, they have planned a recycling contest. The class that collects the
most recycling will win a trip to the Riverside Water Park. The contest will begin on Earth Day –
April 22nd. We will recycle paper, aluminum and glass. You can put them in the bins near your
classrooms.
So, stop throwing away things that you can recycle! Let’s take care of the pollution problem –
together!
