evaluation, literary analysis, rhetorical analysis), journals, summary response paper, revised
drafts
* Activities: Critical reading, Collaborative peer response workshops, editing workshop,
collecting and shaping workshop, conferences

Topics: Writing myths and rituals, purposes and processes for writing, using and
documenting resources, library orientation, evaluating resources
Theme: Self and Society. We will examine how various aspects of society shape our
experience, and our lives. Areas: Social media, Politics, education, class, gender roles, and
popular culture.
