Scholarship Program
Dear Applicant,
Praise the Lord! Thank you for your interest in the Scholarship Program of Jubilee Chapel (the
English Ministry of Hanmee Presbyterian Church) in Itasca, Illinois. It is our earnest desire to support our
financially struggling students, and to promote Christian leadership and service in all spheres of life. We
feel privileged to help fellow brothers & sisters in Christ to make a powerful impact for God’s Kingdom in
our world today.
The scholarship application will be due on Sunday, August 2, 2015, and the recipient(s) will be
announced at our Sunday worship service on August 16, 2015. We hope that all scholarship recipients will be
able to attend the worship service on that Sunday. The LORD be with you!

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
1. You must be a believer of the Lord Jesus Christ & have a personal relationship with Our Savior
2. You must be an active member of a Christian church ministry/congregation
3. You must be enrolled full-time at a fully accredited academic institution as an undergraduate or graduate
student for the fall 2015 semester
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Complete the Jubilee Chapel - Scholarship Application Form
2. Provide documentation of church and community service
3. Provide a brief essay about your vision as a future Christian servant and leader
4. Provide a letter of recommendation
5. Provide financial and or academic documentation (optional)

1. On a separate sheet of paper, please write an essay of 700 words or less describing your future
calling as a Christian servant and leader in your family, church, community, and vocation.
F. RECOMMENDATION
1. Please provide a letter of recommendation from someone who is familiar with you. It may be a close
friend/colleague, teaching assistant (TA), counselor, professor, pastor, etc. The letter should include the following: A
description of your character and service; your future potential as a Christian servant and leader; any special
attributes or qualities you possess.

3. To be considered, applications must be received no later than August 2, 2015 (STRICT DEADLINE). Scholarships
will be presented at our Sunday worship service on August 16, 2015.
