Person Specification – Recognition & Profile TSG Lead
Role Title:
Recognition & Profile TSG Lead
Responsible:
Regional Management Board
Main purpose of the
role:
 To recognise and publicise achievements and successes of netball within the region in
conjunction with East Midlands Regional Netball office staff
 To work with the RMB, ROG, TSGs and the regional office team to raise the profile of
netball in the East Midlands
Role of the group:
 Identify and celebrate achievements in conjunction with the regional office
 Gain media coverage for netball (outside of partnership with Loughborough Lightning) within the sport and non-sport sections of the media
 Build strategic and operational relationships with Loughborough Lightning (LL)
through the annual pre-season planning process
 Lead in the event management of the regional Goalden Globe Awards
 Promote game development, schemes and initiatives throughout the region
 Conduct primary and secondary market research and analysis for EM Netball
 Hold a list of media contacts for the region in conjunction with the Regional office
 Share good practice of raising the recognition and profile of netball with
County Netball Associations, ensuring two-way communication
 Ensure that the East Midlands Netball brand is promoted and used
consistently
 Investigate and in conjunction with Governance & Finance Group secure sponsorship
opportunities for East Midlands Netball.
 Set regional R&P operating budget in consultation with ROG
 Contribute to regional calendar
