CUT TO: Terrorist incident(s) of 1970’s
or 80’s. Israel, Beirut, Ireland, or any
other relevant example.
NARRATOR: There was a time when
it was confined and isolated.
Sounds of explosions/screams.
Screen goes BLACK.
MONTAGE w/ TITLES: terrorist
scenes from widespread countries in
rapid succession. Titles identify the
country. May include England, Spain,
Russia, Kenya, Tanzania, Iraq, India,
Indonesia, USA, Columbia, Philippines,
Pakistan, etc.
Today terrorism stretches across the
entire globe, threatening the security
of citizens from Nairobi to London,
from Karachi to New York.
Terrorist training camps [Afghanistan].
Banks in an unidentified Middle Eastern
country. A candle light vigil or
memorial service that followed a
terrorist attack. People passing through
security measures at any international
airport.
Its vast infrastructure links us all. A
terrorist in one country is trained by a
cell in another. A bombing in one
nation is financed by supporters in a
distant nation. And violence in one city
instills fear in cities worldwide. We’re
united by the threat of terrorism. And
we must be united in the fight against
it.

One advantage in that fight stands out
above all others. Preparedness. The

CUT TO: Train the Trainer class.
NARRATOR: The learning doesn’t
stop there. We even have courses in
training the trainer – so the skills you
develop can be passed on to hundreds
more at home. This is more than
training – this is empowerment.
SPECIAL EFFECT: the class of 20 (or
whatever) multiplies into hundreds.
SPLIT SCREEN: Classes abroad, with

NARRATOR: Each ATA class is
designed around its unique curriculum.
Some are held in your country.

picked up at US airport.
Others at locations in the United
States.
Cut from small class to large class.
Courses are one to ten weeks long and
participants number from 6 to 30.
Trainees at work – CU of a face,
concentrated, serious.
But they all have one thing in common:
commitment. The fight against
terrorism is serious business and so is
our training.
A physically demanding exercise –
perhaps a rappel (Advanced Crisis
Response class)
ATA classes can be rigorous and
demanding. This is no holiday from
business-as-usual; this is business
tougher-than-usual.
Trainee in business attire.
All classes have a dress code or
uniforms.
