A ll students are required to complete a scientific research paper. This is to prepare you for your Junior level science class where you will be required to complete a science fair project.
We will work through this together and break it into small parts that you will be able to put together at the end to produce a quality research project.
Your project will be due in several parts: Refer to the board in the classroom for each due date. The dates are also posted on the classroom website www.cwaggy.weebly.com
. It might be a good idea to also put these dates in your student handbook for easy reference. In between these due dates, we will work together to help you be successful.
Your final project will be a scientifically written research paper 4 pages in length. It will consist of an Introduction, 2 page research paper, Hypothesis, Experimental setup, Results, Conclusion and Works Cited.
This year we will be working with plants for your research papers. You will be albe to choose projects that will work with the traditional soil grown plants or you may choose to work with our
Hydroponics unit. Hydroponics is the growing of plants without using soil.
