Discover - 1 INFORMATION AND OPERATION With a view to check incidents of auto thefts in the area of West District, different teams consisting of ACP/Under Training Sh. Ghanshyam Bansal, IPS, looking after the work of SHO/Kirti Nagar, Insp. R.K.Ojha, SHO Khyala, Insp. Satyavir Singh, Special Staff West District, Inspr. Ramkishan, SHO/Kirti Nagar, Insp. Girish Kumar, ATO/Rajouri Garden, Insp. Surinder Sandhu, ATO/Tilak Nagar and other police officers West District, under the close supervision of Dr. Eish Singhal, IPS ACP/Rajouri Garden was formed to collect intellegence and apprehend the criminals involved in these incidents. The teams verified the listed criminals and zeroed down the active ones. Surveillance was mounted and informers were sensitized. A specific crime pattern was observed, which revealed theft of motor cycles in the early morning hours between 3.00 AM – 5.00 AM. CCTV footage of cameras installed in the affected areas was scrutinized and three persons were found roaming around suspiciously in that particular area. Police personnel were deployed in plain clothes at vulnerable points. On 01.06.2013, efforts of the team bore fruit and two accused were apprehended alongwith one motor cycle stolen vide FIR No. 187/13 u/s 379 IPC PS Kirti Nagar. During interrogation, accused persons disclosed that they had stolen over 50 motor cycles from Kirti Nagar and adjoining areas. They used to come by bus from Rajasthan to Delhi in a group of two or three. They used to stay with their acquaintance Satender, who has been residing in the area of PS Khyala. They used to steal motor cycles by using master key, change the number plates and return to Rajasthan, alongwith 2/3 stolen motor cycles. They also disclosed that they used to dispose off the stolen motor cycles through one Atma Singh r/o PS Sikri, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Their associate Dhanna makes duplicate key and tampers the engine number and chassis number of the motor cycle. On this information a team headed by Sh. During interrogation he has revealed that he and his parents do casual labour in village. Bhura Nath has studied up to primary school dropped out due to poor financial condition of the family. The income is not enough to meet the rising expenditure of his family. Bhura was facing financial crisis and his cousin Shambu extended him a helping hand. Shambhu lured him into drug trafficking. For each delivery, Shambhu used to pay a handsome amount to Bhura. On 04.06.13, he along with his cousin Shambhu, came to Delhi to deliver a consignment of heroin, but both of them were caught red handed. Shambhu Nath (age 35 years) s/o Sh. Kanha Nath r/o Village Hingoriya Chota PS Narayan Garh, District Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh was subjected to intensive interrogation. He revealed that he studied up to primary school. Due to poor family background, he dropped out of school. He is married and having three sons and one daughter. Due to poor financial condition of the family, he started thinking for an alternative profession. Shambhu met one Salim of Takravat village. Shambhu had dug wells for Salim at his place as well as at his relatives place and became friends. Salim lured Shambhu into drug trafficking and started using him as a carrier to supply heroin to Delhi. To cope up with the increasing demand of heroin in Delhi Shambhu lured his cousin Bhura into drug trafficking. On 04.06.13 Shambhu along with his cousin Bhura came to Delhi to deliver a consignment of heroin but both of them were caught red handed. Further investigation of the case is in progress. Neeraj of AATS, Crime Branch regarding movement of one armed auto lifter namely Sonu Panchal s/o Sheeshpal r/o A112/1, Vikas Kunj, Loni, Ghaziabal, UP at Loni road on a stolen M/Cycle. Accordingly, a team led by Insp. Arun Chauhan, HCs Tejveer, Jagdish, Cts Satendra , Neeraj, Deepak and Rajesh was constituted under the supervision of ACP Satish Yadav and over all guidance of Addl. DCP Kumar Gyanesh. The team was deployed at strategic points near Balbir Nagar Pulia, Loni Road where the auto lifter Sonu Panchal was successfully nabbed alongwith one motorcycle. He has four brothers and one sister. In 2004, his family had moved to Shahadra, Delhi to meet employment needs. The accused had joined his father at the young age of 16 years and gathered expertise in welding work. In the year 2010, he solemnized marriage against the will of his family and shifted to Meerut and therefrom to Karnal. But for treatment of his ailing wife, he moved to Loni, Ghaziabad. Due to financial crisis and illness of his wife, he slipped into the world of crime. In the year 2010, he stole a bike from North-East Delhi area along with his associates, but was arrested in case vide FIR No. 171/10 dt. 22.04.2010, U/s 379/411 IPC, PS Jyoti Nagar, Delhi. No. 1620, Gali Tajran, Chandni Mahal, Delhi, Central Distt. Police has worked out a sensational case of murder, reported in police station Chandni Mahal on 02.06.13. INCIDENT On 02.06.13, an information was received at police station Chandni Mahal, from L.N.J.P Hospital that a man who was stabbed at his home has succumbed to his injuries. The information was immediately acted upon and the police team rushed to the hospital. One Altaf Ali, the brother-in-law of the deceased Mukhtiyar Ali (aged45 yrs.) s/o Late Mehmood Ali r/o H. No. 1620, Gali Tajran, Chandni Mahal, Delhi met in the hospital who informed that the deceased had dispute with his elder brother Dilshad Ali regarding ownership of a portion of the house in which they were living separately. The deceased was carrying out some repairs in portion of the house under his possession. The accused Dilshad Ali got enraged at the act of the deceased. In a fit of rage stabbed Mukhtiyar Ali with a pair of scissors repeatedly. After stabbing his brother, the accused fled away from his house. The deceased was taken to hospital by his brother-in-law Altaf Ali but he could not be saved. The team made continuous efforts which bore results and a specific information was received that 6-7 desperate Bangladeshi criminals would assemble in the area of Sainik Farms to plan a dacoity. Later, he came in contact of Bangladeshi criminal namely Alamgir and committed dacoity in Preet Vihar and Saraswati Vihar. He has previously been arrested in 19 cases of dacoity. 2. Mohd. Dulal @ Billi came to Delhi ini 1993 with his brother-in-law and started residing in the area of Seema Puri. Later, he indulged in crime. He has previously been arrested in 13 cases of dacoity. 3. Enclave, South District arrested accused Aasim Biswas @ Sonu and recovered a knife from his possession. During interrogation, accused Aasim Biswas disclosed the identity of other notorious elements. At his instance, the team nabbed accused Pawan Kumar and recovered a country made pistol with a live cartridge (.315 bore), accused Danish and recovered two stolen mobile phones and notorious Amit Kumar, a pick pocket-cumsnatcher. During interrogation, accused Amit disclosed name of his associate Rohtash, a BC of PS Ambedkar Nagar who is also indulged drug dealing and previously involved in 16 cases of illegal arms and pick pocketing. At the instance of accused Amit, the team arrested Rohtash and recovered 20.5 grams smack, cash Rs. 5,000/- and a knife from his possession.
