AUTO LIFTER ARRESTED: THREE CASES SOLVED
With the arrest of one auto lifter vide DD No. 4-B u/s 41.1(D) CrPC
dated 04.06.2013 namely Shahid @ Mujammil s/o Jamil Ansari r/o Ren
Basera Welcome Delhi & Permanent resident of V- Lalbagh PS- Transport
Nagar Distt-Farrukhabad (UP), aged 21 yrs the team of Police Station
Shahdara has solved three cases of Motorcycle thefts.
INCIDENT:On 03.06.2013 a secret information was received that an auto lifter
who was earlier involved in a auto lifting case would come from Janta
Colony Welcome and would pass through Muskan Chowk Shahdara Delhi.
On this information a team was constituted and a trap was laid at Muskan
Chowk . At about 10.30 PM on the indication of informer one Shahid @
Mujammil was apprehended and from his possession a Motor cycle number
DL-5SV-5619 Make Hero Honda was recovered.
During sustained
interrogation he confessed that he had stolen this Motor Cycle from the
area of Gandhi Nagar, Delhi. This information was verified from Auto
Match and it was found to be stolen from the area of PS Gandhi Nagar
reported vide case FIR No. 217/13 u/s 379 IPC dt. 02.06.13.
On further interrogation he admitted to have stolen two more
Motorcycles from Gandhi Nagar and Seelampur.
TEAM:On receipt of the above information the same was immediately
constituted a team constituted S.I. Ashish Kumar with HC. Vinod No.
1447/ NE & Ct. Neeraj No.669/NE under the close supervision of Insp.
Vikram Singh, Station House Officer, PS Shahdara.

MODUS OPERANDI :In day time he used to work as Inverter body maker at Raju Body
Maker, Gali No.3, Bihari Colony, Delhi and after finishing his job he used
to visit surrounding areas and markets to find easy target. He had made a
duplicate Master Key to unlock the Motor cycles. After stealing the bike
whenever he was stopped at any Police Picket he paused himself as Scooter
Mechanic. After committing theft his plan was to wait for 5-6 days to sell
the vehicle. At his instance another Motorcycle stolen from Seelampur was
recovered from Gali No.1, Kardampuri, Jyoti Nagar, Delhi. In another case
when he could not sell Hero Honda passion bike stolen from Gandhi Nagar
then he left it abandoned in the area of PS Welcome.
ASSOCIATES:He used to work alone to minimise the risk and to avoid money
sharing.

NOTORIOUS AUTOLIFTERS ARRESTED
Police personnel of Police Station Kirti Nagar, West District have busted a gang of motor cycles
lifters by arresting three notorious interstate auto-lifters and recovered 11 stolen motor cycles.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION
With a view to check incidents of auto thefts in the area of West District, different teams consisting
of ACP/Under Training Sh. Ghanshyam Bansal, IPS, looking after the work of SHO/Kirti Nagar, Insp.
R.K.Ojha, SHO Khyala, Insp. Satyavir Singh, Special Staff West District, Inspr. Ramkishan, SHO/Kirti Nagar,
Insp. Girish Kumar, ATO/Rajouri Garden, Insp. Surinder Sandhu, ATO/Tilak Nagar and other police officers
West District, under the close supervision of Dr. Eish Singhal, IPS ACP/Rajouri Garden was formed to collect
intellegence and apprehend the criminals involved in these incidents.
The teams verified the listed criminals and zeroed down the active ones. Surveillance was mounted
and informers were sensitized. A specific crime pattern was observed, which revealed theft of motor cycles
in the early morning hours between 3.00 AM – 5.00 AM. CCTV footage of cameras installed in the affected
areas was scrutinized and three persons were found roaming around suspiciously in that particular area.
Police personnel were deployed in plain clothes at vulnerable points.
On 01.06.2013, efforts of the team bore fruit and two accused were apprehended alongwith one
motor cycle stolen vide FIR No. 187/13 u/s 379 IPC PS Kirti Nagar. They were identified as Surender Singh
s/o Tirlok Singh r/o Vill Tesgi, PS Sikri, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan and Mahender Singh s/o Bharat Singh r/o
Vill. Boodli, PS Sikri, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Both were produced before the Court and taken on Police
Custody Remand for 3 days. During interrogation, accused persons disclosed that they had stolen over 50
motor cycles from Kirti Nagar and adjoining areas. They used to come by bus from Rajasthan to Delhi in a
group of two or three. They used to stay with their acquaintance Satender, who has been residing in the
area of PS Khyala. They used to steal motor cycles by using master key, change the number plates and
return to Rajasthan, alongwith 2/3 stolen motor cycles. They also disclosed that they used to dispose off
the stolen motor cycles through one Atma Singh r/o PS Sikri, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Their associate
Dhanna makes duplicate key and tampers the engine number and chassis number of the motor cycle.
On this information a team headed by Sh. Eish Singhal IPS consisting of 50 personnel from West
District including Insp. R.K.Ojha, SHO Khyala, Insp. Satyavir Singh, Special Staff/West District, Insp.
Ramkishan, SHO/Kirti Nagar, Insp. Girish Kumar, ATO/Rajouri Garden, Insp. Surinder Sandhu, ATO/Tilak
Nagar alongwith local police personnel of PS Sikri, raided the hideouts of Atma Singh and Dhanna Singh
located in the Mewat region of Rajasthan. The team recovered 10 more motor cycles and arrested Dhanna
Singh of Rutha Kikori, PS Sikri, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Search for Atma Singh is continuing.
Investigation of the case is in progress.
Police personnel involved in the good work are being rewarded suitably.

A team of officers of Narcotics Cell of Crime Branch led by Inspr.
Vivek Pathak consisting of SI Sunil Jain, HCs Om Parkash, Rajender,
Yogesh Kumar and Rajesh, under the supervision of ACP Zile Singh and
overall guidance of Addl. DCP Kumar Gyanesh, has apprehended two
persons involved in trafficking of drugs and has recovered 400 Grams of
fine quality Heroin from them. The value of the recovered heroin is worth
Rs. 40 Lakhs (approximately) in the international market.
INFORMATION AND OPERATION
Information was received on 04.06.2013 by SI Sunil Jain that two
persons namely Shambhu and Shiva, who are residents of Mandsaur,
Madhya Pradesh. Both of them are indulging in sale/supply of
Heroin/Opium in Delhi and Haryana after procuring the same from
Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. They would be coming near Foot - Over
Bridge opposite Dhaula Kuan Metro Station, New Delhi to deliver a
consignment of Heroin to someone A trap was laid around Foot - Over
Bridge opposite Dhaula Kuan Metro Station and two persons namely
Shambhu Nath s/o Sh. Kanha Nath r/o Village Hingoriya Chota PS
Narayan Garh, District Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh and Bhura Nath s/o
Sh. Ram Nath r/o Village Semeliya Hira, PS Bhau Garh, Distt. Mandsaur,
Madhya Pradesh were apprehended near Foot - Over Bridge, opposite

INTERROGATION AND PROFILE
Bhura Nath @ Shiva (age 32 yrs) s/o Sh. Ram Nath r/o Village
Semeliya Hira PS Bhau Garh, Distt. Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh
was subjected to intensive interrogation. During interrogation he has
revealed that he and his parents do casual labour in village. Bhura Nath
has studied up to primary school dropped out due to poor financial
condition of the family. The income is not enough to meet the rising
expenditure of his family. Bhura was facing financial crisis and his cousin
Shambu extended him a helping hand. Shambhu lured him into drug
trafficking. For each delivery, Shambhu used to pay a handsome amount
to Bhura. On 04.06.13, he along with his cousin Shambhu, came to Delhi
to deliver a consignment of heroin, but both of them were caught red
handed.
Shambhu Nath (age 35 years) s/o Sh. Kanha Nath r/o Village
Hingoriya Chota PS Narayan Garh, District Mandsaur, Madhya
Pradesh was subjected to intensive interrogation. He revealed that he
studied up to primary school. Due to poor family background, he
dropped out of school. He is married and having three sons and one
daughter. Due to poor financial condition of the family, he started
thinking for an alternative profession. Shambhu met one Salim of
Takravat village. Shambhu had dug wells for Salim at his place as well as
at his relatives place and became friends. Salim lured Shambhu into drug
trafficking and started using him as a carrier to supply heroin to Delhi.
To cope up with the increasing demand of heroin in Delhi Shambhu lured
his cousin Bhura into drug trafficking. On 04.06.13 Shambhu along with
his cousin Bhura came to Delhi to deliver a consignment of heroin but
both of
them were caught red handed.

 TWO STOLEN CARS, ONE MOTORCYCLE & ONE SNATCHED MOBILE
PHONE AND ONE COUNTRY MADE PISTOL ALONGWITH TWO LIVE
CARTRIDGES RECOVERED.

SNATCHING WORKED OUT.
The AATS of Crime Branch has arrested one notorious auto lifter/snatcher namely Sonu
Panchal (age-26 years) s/o Sheesh Pal r/o A-112/1, Vikas Kunj, Loni, Ghaziabal, UP. Two stolen
cars, one motorcycle & one snatched mobile phone make Samsung Galaxy and one country made
pistol alongwith two live cartridges have been recovered at his instance.
INFORMATION AND OPERATION
On June 3, 2013, a secret input was received by HC Tejveer and Ct. Neeraj of AATS, Crime
Branch regarding movement of one armed auto lifter namely Sonu Panchal s/o Sheeshpal r/o A112/1, Vikas Kunj, Loni, Ghaziabal, UP at Loni road on a stolen M/Cycle. Accordingly, a team led
by Insp. Arun Chauhan, HCs Tejveer, Jagdish, Cts Satendra , Neeraj, Deepak and Rajesh was
constituted under the supervision of ACP Satish Yadav and over all guidance of Addl. DCP Kumar
Gyanesh. The team was deployed at strategic points near Balbir Nagar Pulia, Loni Road where the
auto lifter Sonu Panchal was successfully nabbed alongwith one motorcycle. One Country made
pistol, alongwith two live cartridges, and one Samsung galaxy mobile phone were recovered from
his possession. On verification, the motorcycle was found stolen from the area of P.S. Jafrabad,
Delhi and the mobile phone was found snatched from the area of P.S. GTB Enclave, Delhi vide FIR
No. 27/13, U/s 379 IPC. Accordingly, the accused has been arrested in case FIR No. 97/03 dt.
03.06.2013 u/s 411 IPC & 25 Arms Act, PS Crime Branch, Delhi.
On sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed that he has also stolen other vehicles,
alongwith his other associates. Two more stolen cars have been recovered at his instance.

PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED
Accused Sonu Panchal belongs to family of ironsmiths and is a native of Village Rasoolpur
Jahid, Meerut, UP. He has four brothers and one sister. In 2004, his family had moved to Shahadra,
Delhi to meet employment needs. The accused had joined his father at the young age of 16 years
and gathered expertise in welding work. In the year 2010, he solemnized marriage against the will
of his family and shifted to Meerut and therefrom to Karnal. But for treatment of his ailing wife, he
moved to Loni, Ghaziabad. Due to financial crisis and illness of his wife, he slipped into the world
of crime. In the year 2010, he stole a bike from North-East Delhi area along with his associates, but
was arrested in case vide FIR No. 171/10 dt. 22.04.2010, U/s 379/411 IPC, PS Jyoti Nagar, Delhi.
Thereafter, Sonu switched over to chain/mobile snatching. He used to ride the motorcycle whereas
his associate snatched the valuables. Their major targets were marriage gatherings and other
crowded places. During interrogation, he confessed that his associate had given him the country
made pistol & two live cartridges to open fire if there is possibility of his apprehension on the spot.
Efforts are in progress to apprehend his associates and to effect further recoveries.

MURDER CASE OF PS CHANDNI MAHAL SOLVED: ACCUSED
ARRESTED FOR MURDERING HIS BROTHER : WEAPON OF OFFENCE

With the arrest of Dilshad Ali, aged 46 years s/o Late Mehmood Ali r/o H. No.
1620, Gali Tajran, Chandni Mahal, Delhi, Central Distt. Police has worked out a
sensational case of murder, reported in police station Chandni Mahal on 02.06.13.
INCIDENT
On 02.06.13, an information was received at police station Chandni Mahal,
from L.N.J.P Hospital that a man who was stabbed at his home has succumbed to his
injuries. The information was immediately acted upon and the police team rushed to
the hospital. One Altaf Ali, the brother-in-law of the deceased Mukhtiyar Ali (aged45 yrs.) s/o Late Mehmood Ali r/o H. No. 1620, Gali Tajran, Chandni Mahal, Delhi
met in the hospital who informed that the deceased had dispute with his elder brother
Dilshad Ali regarding ownership of a portion of the house in which they were living
separately. The deceased was carrying out some repairs in portion of the house under
his possession. The accused Dilshad Ali got enraged at the act of the deceased. In a
fit of rage stabbed Mukhtiyar Ali with a pair of scissors repeatedly. After stabbing his
brother, the accused fled away from his house. The deceased was taken to hospital by
his brother-in-law Altaf Ali but he could not be saved. On the basis of the statement
of Altaf Ali, a case FIR No. 84/13 U/s 302 IPC was registered at police station
Chandni Mahal and investigation was taken up.
TEAM
A team consisting of Sh. Sanjay Kumar Sain, under training IPS
(SHO/Chandni Mahal), Inspr. Satender Mohan, Inspr. Satish Malik, ATO Chandni
Mahal, SI Rohtash, HC Hari Om, Ct. Surender, Ct Rohtash, Ct. Dharmender, Ct. Jai
Singh, was constituted to investigate the case and arrest the accused person.
INVESTIGATION
During the course of investigation, raids were conducted at various places
suspected to be the hide outs of the accused Dilshad Ali. Raids were conducted in
trans Yamuna area of Delhi, in Central Delhi and in North Delhi but the accused was
elusive. There was an information that the accused might try to escape to Mumbai.
To prevent this, teams were deployed at railway stations. On the basis of a specific
information, a trap was laid in the midnight of the intervening night of 3&4-6-13 and
the accused was arrested while he was trying to escape from Delhi to Mumbai.
RECOVERY
The weapon of offence, a pair of scissors stained with the blood of the
deceased was recovered at the instance of the accused.
PROFILE
The accused Dilshad Ali s/o Late Mehmood Ali r/o H. No. 1620, Gali Tajran, Chandni
Mahal, Delhi is 46 years old and an illiterate person. He is a divorcee with no issues. He
used to deal in old motor parts and has no previous criminal history.

BRIEF FACTS :
A team led by Inspr. Special Staff, South District developed information about a gang of
Bangladeshi criminals who was involved in several incidents of dacoity / robbery in Delhi and NCR. The
information was further developed, which revealed that this gang is headed by one Mohd. Dulal @ Mohd.
Rafiq @ Takla. The team made continuous efforts which bore results and a specific information was
received that 6-7 desperate Bangladeshi criminals would assemble in the area of Sainik Farms to plan a
dacoity.
The team laid a trap in Sainik Farms and apprehended all the above mentioned six accused persons
from there and recovered one loaded country made pistol, one live cartridge, two daggers and one iron rod
from their possession. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 234/13 was registered at PS Neb Sarai, all the
accused persons were arrested and further investigation taken up. During interrogation, it was revealed that
this gang is headed by Mohd Dullal @ Takla who belongs to Bangladesh and has been actively committing
crime for the last several years in Delhi, NCR, Gujrat and Karnataka.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS :
1. Mohd. Dulal @ Mohd. Rafiq @ Takla is illiterate. He came to India in 1995 from Bangladesh and
stayed in Gandhi Nagar, Delhi. Initially, he was a rag picker. Later, he came in contact of
Bangladeshi criminal namely Alamgir and committed dacoity in Preet Vihar and Saraswati Vihar.
He has previously been arrested in 19 cases of dacoity.
2. Mohd. Dulal @ Billi came to Delhi ini 1993 with his brother-in-law and started residing in the area
of Seema Puri. Later, he indulged in crime. He has previously been arrested in 13 cases of dacoity.
3. Badal is illiterate. He came to India with accused Mohd. Dulal @ Takla and remained actively
involved in all the sensational crimes committed by this gang.
4. Mohd. Sagar is close associate of gang leader Mohd. Dulal. He used to bring accomplices from
Bangladesh to induct them in the gang and dispose off the robbed booty.
5. Khokhan also came in contact of above criminals being resident of Bangladesh and indulged in
crime.
6. Nayan is close associate of gang leader Mohd. Dulal and actively involved in all the sensational
crimes committed by this gang.

On 24.05.13, a team of PS S.J. Enclave, South District arrested accused Aasim Biswas @
Sonu and recovered a knife from his possession. During interrogation, accused Aasim Biswas
disclosed the identity of other notorious elements. At his instance, the team nabbed accused
Pawan Kumar and recovered a country made pistol with a live cartridge (.315 bore), accused
Danish and recovered two stolen mobile phones and notorious Amit Kumar, a pick pocket-cumsnatcher. During interrogation, accused Amit disclosed name of his associate Rohtash, a BC of
PS Ambedkar Nagar who is also indulged drug dealing and previously involved in 16 cases of
illegal arms and pick pocketing. At the instance of accused Amit, the team arrested Rohtash and
recovered 20.5 grams smack, cash Rs. 5,000/- and a knife from his possession. In this regard, a

2. Amit Kumar (26 years) S/o Shyam Lal R/o B-161, Sanjay Camp, Ambedkar Nagar, New
Delhi is illiterate. He is a bad character of PS Ambedkar Nagar and previously involved
in 7 cases of snatching, pick pocketing and drug dealing.
3. Danish (20 years) s/o Salim R/o C-427, Shahid Nagar, PS Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP is a
school dropout and he is unmarried.
4. Pawan Kumar (24 years) S/o Kaptan Singh R/o 212, 4th Floor near Baba Bakery Munirka,
New Delhi is a school dropout. He is married and has one daughter.
5. Rohtash (54 years) r/o Ambedkar Nagar, Delhi is illiterate. He is married and has three
children. He is a bad character of PS Ambedkar Nagar and previously involved in 16
cases of illegal arms and pick pocketing.
