SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Created new sub vertical market adding $200M SAM (20%) - Recruited by Xilinx in January

2006 to lead the wireless vertical market team in a declining base station industry. Working against the market trajectory, opened new wireless sub vertical market by addressing customer needs and combining wired and wireless packet processing capabilities into a single product.

Expanded business opportunities by $1B across 5 Years - As a Director in Motorola, orchestrated the creation and execution of a broadband business strategy and roadmap. Developed the system from initial phases through prototyping, standards and FCC approval, system demonstration, and customer field trials. Delivered a complete system to production and first

$150M contract.

Change Cellular Networks - After 3 years of intense development, led over 120 engineers to demonstrate the first VoIP end-to-end cellular network, supporting five different air interfaces and video conferencing, on a voice-switching all-IP network in Geneva Telecom in 1999. The results of this technology breakthrough are being realized by all major 3G and 4G cellular standards, including EvDO to WCDMA, WiMAX and LTE.

Innovations - Inventor of seven issued patents (and several pending) valued in multi million dollars across wide range of technologies including software, radio networks and systems architectures, and inked circuit based (nanotechnology inks) security solutions.
