Perched on a hill with a panoramic view of the Port of Los Angeles and World Cruise
Center, the historic San Pedro home is offered by a mother-daughter team as an intimate
venue for bridal showers, ceremonies and receptions.
The unique abode was built in 1929 for a newlywed couple. When the bride asked her
architect father to design a home that would reflect her groom's Southern roots, he
created blueprints for this antebellum-style residence, now brimming with 80 years of
collected treasures. Since 1985, its current owners have lavished the 2000-square-foot
house with tender loving care, raising three children here while filling it with artifacts
from around the world, complemented by local finds that contribute to an eclectic,
multicultural ambiance.
As you sit in a rocking chair on the 40-foot front porch, enclosed by gracious columns
and cooled by ceiling fans, it's easy to imagine yourself a latter-day Southern belle
transported to a gentler, bygone era. The nostalgic fantasy continues in your private
dressing room, appointed with a Louis XIV mirrored armoire, antique-style fainting
couch and turn-of-the-century hatboxes. This is truly the perfect spot to put finishing
touches on hair and makeup while enjoying time with your bridesmaids. And to
enhance that pampered Scarlett O'Hara experience, your on-site assistant will provide
you with light refreshments and personal amenities. One more thing: This is also a
wonderful setting for creative photography.
Grooms have their own dressing quarters, too, in a downstairs room with a separate
entrance. The ambiance here is more contemporary, with a flat-screen TV and
freestanding bar.
Say your vows on the home's romantic balcony, overlooking the patio below and the
twinkling lights of the port beyond. Or, tie the knot in the lush garden amphitheater,
graced with hanging chandeliers, a running creek, and towering pepper and magnolia
trees draped with Spanish moss. Perfumed by grapevines climbing an outdoor bar and
warmed by heat lamps, the space features a gourmet espresso machine station for
European-style beverage service and an area for dancing beneath the stars.
While your guests sip warm cappuccinos or cool mint juleps, you can revel in the glow
of a perfectly coordinated affair and start anticipating your honeymoon—perhaps a
cruise departing from the nearby port. It can be arranged by the same attentive team

Bridal Suite & Grooms Quarters
Our unique bridal suite is adorned with French Louis XIV antique furniture.
Enjoy this private suite complete with refreshments and personal amenities.
Pampering is a must, and getting dressed in the bridal suite before the trip down
the aisle will create unique wedding day memories!
For the grooms enjoyment, private quarters with televised sports and a free
standing un stocked, self serve bar is provided. You must provide your own
alcohol and soft bar services. *A bartender is available for an additional fee*
Pre-Wedding Photography
The southern style garden complete with magnolias, pepper and pine trees,
spanish moss and a running creek are the perfect setting for your wedding
photos. The indoor parlor with hanging chandeliers, antique tapestries and
eclectic decor, along with the Bridal Suite, and Grooms Quarters are available
two hours prior to your wedding ceremony for pre-wedding photos.

Wedding Rehearsal
For your convenience and to ensure an organized ceremony,
an on site rehearsal with the wedding coordinator is provided.
Our coordinator can assist you in planning your rehearsal dinner at our
recommended restaurants in downtown San Pedro.
Ceremony Site
Exchange your marriage vows by candlelight on our balcony overlooking the
Port of Los Angeles, or under the outdoor chandeliers hanging from the sweeping
pepper tree in the garden amphitheater. The ceremony sites also serve as a
romantic location for your main table.
Garden Reception
The garden is available for six hours of ceremony and reception time for up to
150 guests. Time slots available: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m . or 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Select from The Sepulveda Home’s Traditional or Signature Southern Menu.
Single entrees are included in our wedding package. Double and triple entrees are
available for an additional fee. Specialty menus (i.e., ethnic, vegetarian) are

Linens & Place Settings
Select from round or banquet style tables with hand pressed table linens and
overlays in black and white. Each table is complete with formal place settings.

Centerpieces
A selection of candelabra centerpieces are available for your complimentary use.
Candles are included, and our staff will ensure that they are replenished and
remain lit.
Chair Covers

An outdoor gourmet espresso machine and hostess serving espressos,

Hotel Stay & Shuttle Service
As a bride and groom of The Sepulveda Home, you are entitled to our exclusive
contracted rate with our preferred hotel in downtown San Pedro.
It offers harbor view suites with plenty of modern conveniences, and is the
perfect location for you and your wedding guests.
The hotel is conveniently located in restaurant row, amidst San Pedro’s finest
blend of multi cultural eateries, perfect for your rehearsal dinner.
Guests of the hotel are entitled to complimentary shuttle service to and from
The Sepulveda Home on the day of your wedding!
Once the shuttle has picked your party up, enjoy a night cap, or celebrate until
the wee’ hours at a brand new bar and lounge located in the hotel lobby.
Reflect over your glorious wedding the morning after, while sipping coffee and
enjoying a deluxe buffet breakfast with your friends and family at the hotel’s
