Browne plays herself in this recreation of an encounter both touching and humorous. Barbara Angell, who has written a biography of Coral Browne, will be our special guest for the evening. Jun 6 FORBIDDEN PLANET (Dir: Fred Wilcox USA 1956 94 min colour MGM) Science fiction version of Shakespeare's The Tempest features Freudian overtones, excellent special effects and an eerie electronic score which made it one of the most influential films of the genre.
