What would you say, as a believer, that your biggest battle
is, every day? One of the biggest struggles in our life is
not in the spirit realm…it’s in the flesh. Our every day
fight is against our carnal nature, fleshly desires,
attitudes and strife.
We CAN overcome this area of our life, if given the right
information. We WILL always have a battle of the mind & our
carnal nature ‘til Jesus comes back, but we CAN have
victory!
(Touch on the spirit realm, it’s real and active, demons
are busy…we just sometimes blame the devil for our own
carnality…it’s important to have discernment!)The devil is
a DEFEATED FOE; he’s only active in a person w/ a deceived
mind! (Bro. Ross, great thing about his ministry, he’s
using teaching to help people STAY delivered)
If I told you of a way today to totally overcome your
fleshly nature, would you accept it? (Bro. Hagin’s quote)
Ephesians 5:29 - For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and
cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.
The first step to getting free is admitting how much we
LOVE the flesh! It feels good to feed it! Before this day
is over (before this SERVICE is over!) somebody’s flesh is
gonna act up! (Well, I just can’t believe he’s talking
about the flesh, my God! I’ve seen him get in the flesh!)
It may be me!
The flesh likes to brag on itself, even about spiritual
things…(prayer life, bible reader, faster…how hard is it to
bite your tongue & be quiet when you’ve had a great time in
prayer, or God showed you something…I’ve learned to be
quiet about it…not about MY GOD…but my personal
devotion…then those think, “Well, he’s just not spiritual!”
CARNAL:
Governed by mere human nature, not by the Spirit
of God
There’s a reason more scripture is devoted to the flesh
than dealing w/ demons…God knows what we battle more of!

Let’s look at what Jesus said about the flesh (If there’s
anyone who knows something about it, Jesus will, He
overcame it):
Matthew 26:41 (We’re not waiting on GOD!!)
Mark 14:38 (Spirit is always ready!)
John 3:6 (Law of sowing and reaping)
John 6:63 (No benefits at all)
John 17:2 (If HE has it, we have it!)
DEAD MAN WALKING
How many want God’s presence/Glory? In the OT, there was
one thing that would usher it in…the smell of death. Today,
it works the same way…DEAD FLESH GOD LIKES!

We have to die! Walk around dead! (Dead man walking

There’s an old blues song that says, “Everybody wants to go
to heaven, but nobody wants to die”…everybody wants the
Glory, but aren’t willing to die to get it!
The biggest reason people dig up the dead man, is because
they have a LAW BASED LIFESTYLE rather than a SPIRIT
LED LIFESTYLE!

through Chapter 4: Also, Ephesians 2:14-18
QUESTION: Who was the law created for…Jew or Gentile??!!

choice when you wake up every morning, every time
you encounter a person, every situation that arises.
