Morby Fine Arts Scholarship Application Amount: $7,500 Deadline: Monday, December 15, 2014, 7:40 A.M., College and Career Center This scholarship is for students for which fine art is an integral part of their lives. The application is on the RHS website (www.rhshuskies.com). Go to the Academics tab, select the College and Career Center. Click and open the Morby Fine Arts Scholarship Application and save it to your device. Applications must be typed. All applications will be submitted via email containing multiple attachments: application, essay, resume, applicant photo and three digital copies of artwork. To apply: For Identification, all digital files should have your name as a part of the file name. Complete the Morby Fine Arts Scholarship form and save it as a word document. Type an essay, one page maximum, describing how the Fine Arts are integral to your past, present and future. Title this essay “Morby Fine Arts Scholarship Essay” and type your name at the top corner of the page. Save it as a separate word document or add it after the last page of the application document. Type a resume and save it as a separate word document or add it after the essay page to the application document. The resume should include the following applicable information areas: Scholastic Achievements; School Service Involvement and Awards; Student Government; Athletic Participation; Music, Drama, Other Performing Arts; Club Activities; Community Involvement or Service; Employment (Summer or Part-time); Certifications and special skills. Indicate all leadership positions and/or offices held. Identify the school year(s) involved for each. Reproduce 3 pieces of your artwork in a digital format that is compatible with the computers in the College and Career Center lab and Windows operating system. Verify audio and video formats with CCC before submission. For pictures use the jpeg format. Have a picture of yourself, color or black and white in jpeg format. Save your files.
