Bill is survived by his loving wife, Virginia; one
brother, Fritz Stieler of Berkley, MI; and three
sisters, Betty (Ken) Roth of Birmingham, MI;
Donna Bennett of Berkley, MI; and Sally Winsen
of Oak Park, MI; one daughter, Shirley (Ron)
Popp of Mesick, MI; three sons, William Jr.
(Sherry) Stieler of Cookeville, TN, David (Carole)
Stieler of Marlette, MI, and Geoff (Laura) Stieler
of Tecumseh, MI; 11 grandchildren, Kraig Brown,
Kayle Koepke, Shel’lee Hentze, Aaron Stieler,

handicapped. His optimistic attitude allowed
