Choose 1 of the following:
1. Write 3 diary entries for Jane. One after the confrontation
with John Reed; one between the confrontation and
leaving for Lowood, and a third after she goes to Lowood.
2. Compare Jane Eyre to other characters you’ve seen in
literature. How is she similar? Different?
3. Discuss one or more of the themes that Bronte has
established so far. Look at your notes to decide on a
theme that you wish to discuss.
4. Describe a typical day at Lowood School.
Should be 3 paragraphs in length.
