Portfolio of Ten Pieces of Artwork on a flash drive
You need to submit a portfolio of ten of your best drawings,
paintings,
photography, graphic design, animation, video and/or web design.
Your
portfolio must be submitted in digital form as JPEG, PDF, MPEG, or
QuickTime files on a flash drive. SAA requests all drawings,
paintings, and other forms of traditional art be photographed with a
digital
camera for submission [you may include multiple views of threedimensional
artwork]. SAA will not accept original artwork for submission. Your
name and
phone number should be clearly written on the flash drive. Flash
drives should only
contain the artwork you are submitting for the competition. We will
mail your flash
drive back to you.
Daniel E. Johnson Memorial Award Essay
To be considered for the Daniel E. Johnson Memorial Award, submit an
essay describing
how an education from the school of advertising art will affect your
future.
The essay should be double-spaced with 1” margins on all sides.
Please limit your essay
to no more than 500 words. Include your name, address, and phone
number.
Multicultural Award Essay
To be considered for a Multicultural Award, submit an essay
describing how your
cultural heritage inspires you as an artist. The essay should be
