FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
Now, most of the Indians head and lead various MNCs at Global Scale. According to them,
this could be achieved because of their inherent latent talents like - Intelligent Quotient [IQ],
Emotional Quotient [EQ], Spiritual Quotient [SQ], and Competitive Quotient [CQ] which they
do derive from their parents and imbibe from their Education.
The Expert in Management says that the Innovative Processes and Practices, Smart Marketing
Operations and Synergetic Approaches have brought in profits to Corporations in India, despite
the Economic Slowdown in the recent past and, at the same time, during recession, Corporate
Giants faced the challenges of retaining the Brand Equity.
The argument elongates further that the Economic Cycles are always normal incidents at times
having Worldwide ramifications. On the other hand, the MBA and IT Aspirants have also the
relevance and roles to play in all these hard times without any hesitation. This imparts a
lesson that any institution imparting IT and Managing Education should understand the needs
of contemporary global business and rear and mould its students in such a manner, so that they
could take up the top assignments in these Global Conglomerates.
BPIBS has always poised for provision of excellent and conducive pedagogical ambience,
well-built-infrastructure, State-of-the-Art Computer Laboratories, Customized Curriculum, eClassrooms, EDUSAT Facility, besides dedicated fleet of Faculty for nurturing and moulding
its IT and Management Students to equip themselves to face even the formidable tasks and
challenges arising in the Contemporary Business Scenario.
It is a matter of great satisfaction that BPIBS is bringing out its Second Departmental Magazine
of Management Studies – “REWA-2014-15” carrying a plethora of activities and
achievements during its sailing in the previous year. I take this opportunity to extend my Best
Wishes to all of them.
DR. (MRS.) AMITA DEV
FROM THE EDITOR’S DESK
The Indian Economy is now marked by a high rate of expansion, combined with ‘Inclusive
Growth’. According to Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, the key components of the
inclusive growth strategy included a sharp increase in investment in rural areas, rural
infrastructure and agriculture spurt in credit for farmers, increase in rural employment through
a unique social safety net and a sharp increase in public spending on education and health care.
Achieving inclusive growth is the biggest challenge in a country like India.
At the same time, inclusive growth is very much necessary for India for its sustainable
development and equitable distribution of wealth and prosperity. The best way to achieve
inclusive growth is through developing People’s Skills, rapid growth in rural economy, well
planned and targeted urban growth, infrastructure development, reforms in education, ensuring
future energy needs, intent to secure inclusivity, making all sections of society equal
stakeholders in growth and above all good governance will eusure that India achieves what it
deserves.
For inclusive growth to happen in India, the involvement of Private Sector is equally
indispensable. India is the 7th largest country by area; 2nd largest by population; 12th largest
economy at market exchange rate and 4th largest by Public-Private-Partnership This paves
way to build Inclusive India by utilizing opportunities and identifying key levers in
governance, education, energy and resources, telecom and technology, infrastructure,
healthcare, financial inclusion and business model innovation. In addition to the achievement
of 9% of GDP growth for our country as a whole boosting the Inclusive Growth, the
Government should also take efforts to raise the literacy levels which would, in turn, provides a
large number of skilled workforce required for inclusive growth.
BPIBS, the Nodal Institution is joining the Indian Nation in providing the skilled, moulded and
committed youth for the overall development of Indian Economy. I sincerely hope that the
Second Issue of REWA-2014-15 – The Annual Magazine of Department of Management
Studies highlighting various articles enshrined therein would be quite interesting to one and all.
I extend my Best Wishes to the Students, Faculty and Staff of the Department of Management
Studies in BPIBS.

A WILL TO WIN...
There is a big difference between Aim and Dream,
Dream requires ‘effortless sleep’ , but Aim requires ‘sleepless efforts’.
Your dream is not your destination ,
Its your dedication and hardwork that makes it your ‘destiny’.
Winners are winners....
Not by luck, not by birth, but.... ‘by determination’.
‘Expect minimum’ , that others will help you, ‘Be maximum’ so that you can help others.
‘Life.... it goes the way you choose’.
Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only deputes today of its joy.
The way you think, the way you feel, and the way you believe, decides your success and your
failure.
What you really want yourself to be, is what you’ll be.Just ‘be postive’ towards life and a
bucket full of happiness is waiting for you....
Life is beautiful for those who believe and a virtual hell for the pessimists.
Live life, burst into laughter, and SMILE, SMILE , and just SMILE!!-this life is your only
asset& you are free....
Free of tensions, free of evil thoughts, tapping at your back....
Believe you can and you are halfway there.

Imagination Is More Important Than Knowledge !
-Albert Einstein
Knowledge takes an individual to a higher level, yet it is
imagination, which along with knowledge, takes whole of the
human race forward.
It was imagination, which led to many great discoveries and
inventions; though accidents played a major role, yet followed
by imagination.
Imagination has been a initiative. It is a step taken with self
motivation into a new dimension, though unseen by the rest,
yet felt by the thinker, or say dreamer in each and every aspect.
It is imagination which makes ‘A Person’ differ from ‘THE
Person’.
It is the imagination to go beyond the limit, which acts as the
best motivator in a person’s life. And it does not come by
dreaming in sleep, yet looking at what others look but with
your sixth sense, letting the rest five senses make a pavement
for the sixth sense to pass on, through your eyes, and create a
moment of APPLAUSE !

WHAT IS LIFE?
Life is a Race…
Years come and years go.
Here you have to run with a fast pace,
As the pendulum of life moves to and fro.
When a child takes birth on this earth,
His journey of life starts.
Pay as it deserves according to the worth
Painting with vibrant colors, makes it a beautiful art.
The nature of life is very uncertain,
It takes unexpected turns.
God gives strength to deal with the strain
So that smoothly the life runs.
The book of destiny of every individual is different,
Full of joys and sorrows.
Only the degree is variant,
It is the rule of life that follows.
Every minute of life is precious,
It should not be wasted.
The cake of life is quite delicious,
Before it spoils, it must be tasted.
LOVE life, LIVE life with full spirit,
We won’t get get it twice, as love has no limit…
