Policy regarding the Homecoming Parade & BHS Band Students: Band people are busy people!! The majority of band people are involved in multiple sports, clubs, and activities outside of band. We like and encourage you to be involved in multiple groups because it makes you a well-rounded person. Seniors and Varsity Athletes have option to choose to march with the band or to ride the float for their sport or activity. This policy is in place because band students are active in many activities and sports. If everyone went with their float, there would not be a band left to play in the parade. However, once the band has finished the parade, students are welcome to go back and join their float. If you are in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade, you may wear your athletic uniform or activity t-shirt while you march with the band.
