Kyle Bishop’s article “Dead man still walking: explaining the zombie resistance”
explains the zombie genre as a whole. The article shows the origins of the zombie genre
as very profitable and very high marketing films. It also examines how some zombie
films use realistic time period themes to put fear into the audience. This article shows
how far the zombie genre has come over the past 40 years. However, this article is very
in-depth with showing how the zombie genre affected society back when it first started
and today as well, and it shows why certain zombie films are being remade and are very
common in our society.
