INT LIVING ROOM － DAY1 － EVENING
This is a closed room and it is very dark inside. A man is groping on the
floor and standing up. We can hear a single sound, the man hit his head
in the dark. He raises himself up by holding the table and move on. The
man tripped over something in the dark and almost fell. Then he looked
down on the floor.
We look up and there is a girl sitting beside the table on the floor. The
man squat and pull out a lighter from his pocket. With the sound 'Cha',
the lighter lightened the girl's face. The girl tilted her head and closed
eyes. At this time, a voice raised behind the man and he is frightened.
The light went out and the room became dark.
GREED (O.S.)
You weak up？
WRATH (O.S.)
Who are you? Where is this? What am I doing here?
GREED (O.S.)
How should I know? I was here when I woke up. All I can remember is that
I finished surgery and went home. How about you?
WRATH (O.S.)
I... I finished my task and went home to sleep. It's really tired that
day and then...This is the last thing I remembered.
GREED (O.S.)
It seems that we are the same.
WRATH (O.S.)
Same what?
At that moment, the girl suddenly opens her eyes. Her expression told us
she was scared. We can see the girl was trembling and wrapping her arms
around her knees.
ENVY (O.S.)
Who are you? Where am I?
GREED (O.S.)
Same as us. Don't know where is this. Who we are. And why in here.
WRATH (O.S.)
What's the last thing you remember?
ENVY (O.S.)
I...I can't remember anything.
WRATH (O.S.)
Why only three of us in here？
GREED (O.S.)
Three? I don't think there are only three!
The doctor gestured in the opposite direction and glanced over there. We
can see in the direction of his fingers. It is possible to see that there
is a few figure lying on the ground. The policeman passed along the way
and the light is swaying. He squatted down, and we can see a fat man hunched
over a woman through the light. WRATH kicked the fat man, but he didn't
awake. WRATH kicked him again, the fat man impatiently wave his hand. Then,
the woman woke up with this fear and pushed the fat man away. She was
screaming and pounding the fat man with her high heels.
LUST (O.S.)
Fuck! What the hell is that? Why you bring me here? Where is this?
Other people was awaked by the loud voice and stranded from ground and
looked each other.
INT LIVING ROOM - DAY2 - EVENING
The white light and the screech of sound wave is filled with this room.
Suddenly, there was a voice, 'Do you want to play a game?'The Actress found
that the CCTV in the room and looked up it.
PRIDE (O.S.)
Who are you? Why you keep us here？
SAW (O.S.)
Well, well, well, shouting is not a good habit. It doesn't matter who I
am, it is important that I can let you out. Just shut up and listen. I
believe that you can get the answer you want.
Then, there was silence, everyone looked each other.
SAW (O.S.)
No matter what you are and what you have before, you are the same in here.
LUST (O.S.)

SLOTH (O.S.)

LUST was interrupted by actress's scream. Following a pointing finger,

WRATH (O.S.)

SLOTH (O.S.)

LUST (O.S.)

ENVY (O.S.)
What good is money to a person when he will die？
WRATH (O.S.)
We won't kill people for money. We need to trust each other and find the
way out together.
GREED (O.S.)
God knows what the desperate people would do!
The doctor cross his hands on his chest and were still standing there.
Then the room became silence again. The lights keep flickering. There is
a chair in the corner and on the other side has a table. There are something
on the table including, fruits, a knife and a bottle of wine. The policeman
found the door and began to kick the door and LUST began to break through
the door as well. ENVY very worried about it and stood at the corner. SLOTH
sniffed at other people. PRIDE set on the chair and smoking constantly.
GREED opened the wine. GLUTTONY can't stop eating and hide the knife.
WRATH (O.S.)
There are six rooms here. Wronged ENVY and PRIDE sleep in one room.
PRIDE (O.S.)
She was wronged？
PRIDE went into the room and closed door. There are two beds in this room,
one is double bed, the other is a single bed. PRIDE took off her earrings
and necklace on the table.
PRIDE (O.S.)
You sleep in the small bed. BTW leave my stuff alone, it's very expensive.
You can't afford any of them！Hey! Look at me! I'm talking to you!
ENVY (O.S.)
I see.
ENVY was always looking down. She took the earphone and listened to the
music. PRIDE was lying on the bed and smoking. WRATH pounded his fists
on the wall. SLOTH leaned against the wall and painting. GREED was thinking
ten million dollars over and over again. GLUTTONY was sitting at corner
and shivering. LUST jacks off the actress's body.
INT BEDROOM AND LIVING ROOM- DAY3 - EVENING
PRIDE (O.S.)
Why is this room so hot? Hey! You! Go and get me a glass of water! I'm
dying of thirst.
ENVY look at PRIDE and sighed. She got out of bed and went to the living
room. GLUTTONY was still eating at the corner of the living room. He
glanced at ENVY and turned back to protect his food. This time LUST slipped
away from his room and hugged ENVY from behind around the waist. Put his
hand over her mouth and placed her on the table.
ENVY (O.S.)
Help! please help me!
LUST (O.S.)

locked the door.
INT LIVING ROOM - DAY4 - MORNING
PRIDE found that LUST was died and began to scream. ENVY was subconsciously
tugging on her sleeve. GLUTTONY looked at ENVY so weird.
WRATH (O.S.)
What did you do yesterday?
PRIDE (O.S.)
She went out last night. She was the murder.
ENVY (O.S.)
I just felt thirsty and wanted to drink some water. I saw GLUTTONY in the
living room. Yes! He killed LUST!
GLUTTONY (O.S.)
I didn't kill people. ENVY was the murder. Please trust me!
Everyone approached to GLUTTONY and he drew back slowly, retreating step
by step. He took of the knife.
GLUTTONY (O.S.)
Don't come！Why don't you believe me！I didn't kill him.
WRATH (O.S.)
Calm down! Calm down!
WRATH opened his hand and moved on. GLUTTONY looked down and saw the blood
on the knife and fell down. GlUTTONY was closed in LUST's room.
Everyone was very hungry, but there is no food, just some fruits.
ENVY (O.S.)
We're going to starve!!
WRATH (O.S.)
Calm down. We can take half of the fruits to eat tomorrow.
GREED (O.S.)
Unless one of us win this game and go out, or we will all die here.
GREED (O.S.)
SLOTH come and get something to eat.
SLOTH (O.S.)
Don't want to move. You can bring me something after you finish.
They finished food and went back their room. GREED brought something to
SLOTH, when he passed LUST's room, GLUTTONY shouted. Then, GREED opened
the door and let GLUTTONY out.
GREED (O.S.)
Sh! Don't get caught by WRATH. He said that don't let you to eat as a
punishment.
GLUTTONY run out to the living room and ate food. PRIDE went back her room
and found that her necklace were missing. At the same time, GREED stood
outside SLOTH's room.
PRIDE (O.S.)
Did you see my necklace?
ENVY (O.S.)
No!
GREED went into SLOTH's room and fished out a piece of string from his
pocket. ENVY and PRIDE argued with each other, the more noise the more
fierce. We can hear a crash of breaking glasses from next door. WRATH was
coming when he heard the sound. When he walked into their room, he found
that PRIDE were injured by the glass and died. We can see ENVY was covered
in blood and her finger goes to the next room.
WRATH run to next room and saw GREED strangled SLOTH's throat. GREED
attempted to make it looks like SLOTH hanged himself in the room.
WRATH (O.S.)
Let him go!
GREED (O.S.)
No! He has already died. If I don't kill you all, I will not go outside.
I want get the money! Money!
WRATH (O.S.)
So you kill them!
WRATH punched GREED in the face and GREED bumped his head on the table
and died. He stepped back and run to the living room.
GLUTTONY never stop eating the food and hold the knife to WRATH and stabbed
him. They were chasing around the table and during this time GLUTTONY never
stop putting food in his mouth, and choked to death on it. WRATH broke
everything in the room. This room is a mess. We can see the food, the pieces
of glass and blood.
WRATH (O.S.)
You won! What do you want?
ENVY (O.S.)
Still have me! Do you think I'm die？
INT BEDROOM－DAY5 －MORNING
The room is quiet, PRIDE and ENVY were in the room. The table is very clean
that we can find that earring and necklace are missing.
PRIDE (O.S.)
You steal my jewelry！
ENVY (O.S.)
No, I don't.
PRIDE (O.S.)
It must be you. There are only two women here... and we sleep together.
Who else can take it?
ENVY (O.S.)
I don't steal you jewelry!
PRIDE (O.S.)

ENVY (O.S.)

hold a glass smashed to her head. After she killed PRIDE, she put the blood
on her face that made herself get injured.
INT LIVING ROOM -DAY5 - MORNING
ENVY (O.S.)
I admit that I kill PRIDE because of jealous. I want to become a good
actress, but for many years, I'm not a movie star. I become a hooker. I
just jealous her. She have to die because she is haughty. LUST have to
die because he is promiscuous. SLOTH have to die because he is lazy.
GLUTTONY is because of gluttony. And you are because of your anger.
WRATH was grasping her chest with his hand.
ENVY (O.S.)
Don't angry, you are so easy to excited. There is no tablet, you gonna
to die.
ENVY began to laugh and her face changed into other's people who died
before.
Then we can hear a voice：The patient 342 emotional instability. He has
a split personality.
INT SICKROOM － DAY6 － EVENING
There is a bed with a white sheet, a chair beside the bed. A white table
filled with needles and medicine. We can see the label clearly, it had
a word -tranquilizer on it. In front of the chair, there is a video camera
which is record what had happen in this room.
THE MAN (O.S.)
Let me go. I win this game! Get me out off this fucking place!!!
Doctor (O.S.)
PRIDE, SLOTH, ENVY, WRATH, GLUTTONY, GREED and LUST. Who am I talking to?
THE MAN (O.S.)
They all die. It's only me.
Doctor (O.S.)
Are you sure?
Through the screen, a man struggled on the chair. He is the only people
in this room. There are a table, a chair and a bed.
Seven Treatment

There is a walled-up room and it is really dark inside. A man took out a lighter and lighted
up the room. He looked around the room and found that more than one person lethargic
sleep in this room. After that, they began to find a way out, but to no effect. At this moment,
they heard a sound: This is a killing game, only one can get out alive. With the first one to
be killed, the game also exposed the darker side of humanity. As a result, they began to
fight.

ACT ONE:
In the room. Night. A man woke up in this dark room. He knelt on the ground and
searching for something. In the dark he tumbled over something and he found that it was
a girl sitting there. Just as he wanted to see her face clearly. There was a voice behind
him and he began to turn around when the light went out. He lighted up the lighter again,
he found that it was a man who wear gold-rimmed glasses. After a simple communication,
they realized they were in the same boat. They didn't know each other and didn't know
why they were here in this strange place. Later on, they another four people in the same
room. A rich man, a movie star, an artist and a wanderer. Suddenly, there was a voice, '
This is a game, only one can get out of here alive and that person can get ten million
dollars as a reward'.
There were seven people here and they had a week to fight for each other. The last
person can get out alive. After hearing this information, all of the people were terrified. At
the beginning, they had different purpose. Later, they decided to find the way out together.
They looked around and found there were only six rooms. The movie star and actress
were grouped together. Although the movie star were unhappy to this decision, she can
just accept it reluctantly. Each of them do their own things. The policeman and rich man
didn't give up and continued to find the way out; the doctor still thought about the ten
million dollars; the movie star smoked on the bed; the wanderer were always eating and
hid the knife in his pocket; the artist sat quietly with eyes closed; the actress still worried
about the whole thing.
CUT TO...
PRIDE, ENVY BEDROOM
When the actress went inside the room, Pride warned her that don't touch her jewelry. In a
word, Pride looked down upon Envy and let her sleep on the small bed at the corner of
this room. Envy walked to her bed in silence and took out her earphone to listen to the
music. In the midnight, Pride woke up and told Envy to get some water for her. With an air
of resignation, Envy went to living room to get water.
Gluttony still took his food in the corner. When he saw Envy passed by him, he
subconsciously protected his food. This time Lust slipped away from his room
and hugged ENVY from behind around the waist. Envy tried to screaming, but
Lust put his hand over her mouth and placed her on the table. ENVY looked
very frightened and struggles furiously. She attempted to get help from
Gluttony, but it didn't work. In a moment of desperation, she found an ashtray
and smashed him over the head with it. Lust was bleeding from his head and
fell down. ENVY quickly her room and locked the door.
ACT TWO:
In the living room. Next morning. People found that Lust was died. Everyone
began to discuss who is the murder. Wrath looked around in a curious way.
Pride denounced Envy because she went to the living room last night. Envy
pass the buck to Gluttony promptly. She said that she saw Gluttony was in
living room last night. Everyone looked Gluttony and moved closer to him. He
was very scared and took out the knife. When he looked down, he found that
there were blood on the knife. Then he was going to faint for fear. After that,
people put him to Lust's room and locked the door.
There were just some fruits left and it was not enough to eat for all the people.
They allocated the food for everyone. During this process, Sloth were always
lying on his bed. He is too lazy to go to the living room and he told Greed
brought some food for him when he finished. When Greed pass by the Lust's
room, he heard Gluttony shouted. Then he gave Gluttony some food and let
him out. Greed also told Gluttony don't get caught by Wrath, because Wrath
don't let him to eat as a punishment.
Greed went into Sloth's room and fished out a piece of string from his pocket.

Pride's jewelry were missing and she doubt that Envy stole it. Inadvertently
Pride found that there was bruise on Envy's arm in the quarrel. Then she knew
that Envy was the murder who kill Lust. She wanted to tell the truth to another
people. This time, Envy hold a glass smashed to Pride's head. After she killed
Pride, she put the blood on her face that made herself get injured.
When Lust wanted to catch Envy, Saw used knife to kill him and he gave the
bloody knife to Gluttony.
Envy told everything to Wrath, but she said that she didn't kill Lust. As a result,
Wrath had a heart attack and dead. ENVY shouted she was the winner and
she began to laugh. Her face changed into other's people who died before.
Then we can hear a voice：The patient 342 emotional instability. He has a split
personality.
ACT THREE
In the sickroom. Morning. A doctor came inside the room and injected
tranquilizer to the man. The man struggled on the chair. He is the only people
in this room.
The reflection of the microfilm ‘Prophet’
Through a semester learning the courses and getting help from our tutor, I am
in charge of a team of eight classmates. We are trying to shoot a five-minute
microfilm of our own – ‘Prophet’.
The production process of shooting this microfilm is divided into such following
aspects: first is about the planning of the first stage, which mainly demands for
identify the topic and write a script. Secondly, in the early stage of the film, we
need to draw the shooting script. It is easy to shoot the film and make the
process of editing more organized. We divided the shot in the same scene to
save time and effort either for us to shoot or edit the film. Then, we need to
prepare the equipment and make sure the cameraman and actors. In order to
make the characters more accord with the theme of the drama, the director will
select the actor carefully. In addition, shooting is the most important step in this
microfilm. Before we make the film, scheduling the date and choosing the
filming venue can ensure the progress is smoother in the whole film. After a
few shooting, I found that we need to prepare all the props and check the
location where we filmed. According to the shooting script and different
scenarios, we will shoot several times of each scene. It is particular importance
to the later stage editing and selection. Finally, when we finish shooting the film,
we need to make the rough cut, final cut, dubbing, soundtrack, subtitles,
special effects and a series of production of this microfilm. Keeping the whole
film clear and is able to bring the combination of the audio-visual effect to the
audiences. Even the best visual is obviously junior without the auditory effect
and the audience cannot understand what the film intend to express the
information and thought through the visual directly. In the end, we need to
polish the film by adding the late effects of the computer and creating the
beginning and end of the film.
Clipping is an arduous and meticulous work. A feature film has many lenses
between hundreds and thousands. The portion of the frame has interior,
exterior, real place and the setting scene. The contents of the same scene are
usually focus on shooting and when we should rearrange the editing according
to the content of the order. The important scenes in the film due to some
performance or technical reasons, tend to be shot several times and we should
to select the clip what we need. Most of the lens have a long shot, so it needs
to find the ideal editing points from all of them. Some length of lens to make the
scene appear in a cross shot and continue to take on several film. Then, it
should be divided into many lens when we editing and follow the most effective
lens of the order. The voice section divided into three method of recording:
pre-score, synchronization and after-recording. These three kinds of recording
methods to make the audio recording with different processes and methods to
process. Most of the early recording are the complete aria and it strictly in
accordance with the rhythm of the music and the libretto which is combine with
the frame. Simultaneous recording is mostly the sound effects and dialogue
which is usually editing with the frame at the same time. The contents of after
recording include dialogue, internal monologue, aside, background music and
the sound effects etc. Generally, the recording is based on the edit of the
frame, then it requires the advance into account the combination of the sound
and frame and the sound which need to clip the form of a series of artistic
effects. Before the final cut of this film, we must keep the frame and a variety of
vocal cords properly and methodically, to put them together when we need to
extend it.
From the beginning to end of making this film, it tend to go through rough cut,
recut, final cut and other steps. Rough cut is generally according to connect
shooting script, the physical movement of characters, dialogue and reaction.
Recut is revised on the rough cut. Final cut will repeat the scene carefully and
accurately. Some clips in isolation is feasible, but it will feel too tight or too
loose when connected with the scene before and after. Therefore, it needs to
adjust them through editing. This relationship to the adjustment of the overall
structure and rhythm of work, is usually a joint research decision by the
director and editor.
Clips to ensure the lens of action are both look natural and fluency, and also
want to highlight the lens and give action events within the meaning of the
expressive effect. The dialectical unification of narrative and the performance
of double function, it is clip art skills applied to the general rules of film
creation. To realize the dual function, it needs to master the traditional editing
skills and creative clip art technique. The traditional editing techniques is
following the logic of life, but not natural reproduction process of everything in
life. Compact clips Omit clips also illustrates the camera motion between pure
natural coherence is not always necessary, compression or extension of the
real time, let all meaningful action event, to minimize the natural movement,
fluency is a important supplement principle of editing techniques.
To sum up, through the practice of shooting, we know more practical
knowledge to enhance our experience and it is really helpful to us to shoot a
film in the future.
