Español 2 (Periods 3, 4, 6) Nombre: Spanish-Speaking Country Project As we continue to explore the Spanish-speaking world as a class, you will research a Spanish speaking country of your choice and write a mini-research paper. Then, you will teach the class the significant information you learned during your investigation. The Report (el Reportaje) You will write a 2 page research paper about your Spanish-speaking country of choice. Your paper specifications are: 2 pages, typed double spaced size 12 font Times New Roman 1 inch margins with a separate bibliography Spanish speakers you will write ALL in Spanish! You must include: A.) Country Information with: (ALL of these must be included!) o o o o o o o o o Flag Map of Country Capital Continent Location Population and Area Major Language(s) President and Type of Government Currency Education B.) You must then choose 1 of the following topics to research: History (What major events have happened in this country´s history?) Government/Economy (What kind of government does this country have? Money?) Culture (What are some popular traditions or customs in this country?) Geography (What kinds of landscapes does the country have? Mountains, etc?) Tourism (Where do tourists go and what do they go to see?) C.) You must then choose 1 of the following topics to research: Famous person, artist, writer, musician, athlete Famous dance, sports, or literature Holiday or customs Fashion Current events D.) You must include your conclusions / opinions about the country you researched. You must include a bibliography page, stating where you found your information.
