When Banquo and I were returning from the battle, we met three very strange women on the heath. They seemed to be women, but they had beards! You’ll never guess what they said- that I would be Thane of Cawdor! If that wasn’t enough, they also said I will be king. And then two men arrived to tell me that Duncan was making me Thane of Cawdor! Can you believe that? The previous Thane of Cawdor has been executed because he was a traitor! Well, if I am to be king, just think what that will make you- my queen! I love you so much that I really wanted to share this with you. I’ll be with you soon. I have sent this ahead, so that you know everything that has happened.
