She took this on as a new member and did a very fine job under those challenging circumstances. Thank you Guylaine! Laurie Paquin, a brand-new member, has volunteered to be our new Membership person! This is absolutely awesome and very much appreciated and we will all help her as much as we can as she learns "the ropes". To make things as easy as possible, Guylaine (who also was a new member at that time) has left her with well-organized material as to how she did things. I'm sure that Laurie would welcome it, if anyone offers to work with her. Thank you Laurie! KHWS Workshops: Hi everyone, here are the upcoming workshops. This is not to allow people to drive during daylight hours because that is irrelevant in the winter (it's dark after 4:30) but so that people who live farther can get home at a more reasonable hour. We will take an online vote about this issue after the Oct. meeting and before the Nov. meeting when the results of the vote will be presented but notice is to be given now. Members will be given the options of: "earlier start" ( 6:30 social, 7:00 meeting) "regular start" (7:00 social, 7:30 meeting) Coming Events: KHWS Annual Show and Sale: November 16, 17, 18, 2012 The Fall Fibre Affair, 2012 returns to the Fairfield-Gutzeit House in Bath October 13th and 14th, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
