Douglas Gore, Pastor Obituary Order of Service Betty Sue Roberts departed this life on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at age 51, at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, Virginia. She was born on June 9, 1959 in Fauquier County. The daughter of the late Helen Cook Roberts and William Roberts. She attended Fauquier County Schools and later was blessed with 5 children (3 daughters and 2 sons). Betty worked several different jobs in her life. Betty was a beautiful person and she loved everyone. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and a friend to all. She was a member and faithfully attended Beulah Baptist Church regularly until she became ill. “Minner” as many called her, loved attending church services, spending time with her family, entertaining her friends and family, cooking, cleaning, helping others, loved being around her grandchildren, being a riding partner to who ever needed her to ride, loving her family, loving her beach girls and always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved walking and especially walking with her good friend Ella. Left to carry on her joy of living is three daughters, Bettina Roberts, Stephanie Roberts and Brandy Roberts all of Front Royal, Virginia ; two sons Brandon Roberts and Bruce Bell Jr. both of Front Royal, Virginia; five grandchildren, Alandis, Tarneesha, Trinity, Zayden and Ma’Liyah; seven sisters , Marvel Jackson ,Bernice Roberts , Joan Lane , Katherine Jackson, Doris Roberts all of Front Royal , Virginia, Joyce Robertson, Centerville, Virginia , Darlene Roberts , PA, one brother , Jackie Roberts of Markham, Virginia ; two sister-inlaws, two brother-in-laws ; three Aunts, Velia Belle Porter, Irene Summers , Gloria Cook all of Washington D.C. , and one Great Great Aunt, Viola Limpkins , and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends and a very special friend Ella Thompson. “Mom, grandma, auntie, sister and friend walked everywhere never wanting a ride until JESUS came on the train to heaven and that’s when she got onboard and accepted the ride” Even the greatest sorrows Are easier to bear When shared in loving sympathy By those who truly care.
