MCSSA FIELD DIRECTIONS - MASTER LIST

select listed file.
NOTE: Field directions that follow are generally organized alphabetically by name of the town in which the field is located (most
Mount XX towns are under Mount, not Mt.) - and at a minimum include, Town Name, Field Name, and Street on which field is located.
Most fields are in Morris County; directions assume the reader is familiar with Morris County and major roads therein (e.g. I80, I287, Rt.
24, Rt. 10, Rt. 15, Rt. 46, Rt. 206, Rt. 513 etc). Excellent colored maps of Morris County are free at the Morris County Courthouse
administration building in Morristown. MCSSA does not guarantee these directions to be exact, they are provided for your convenience
and updates are always appreciated.
At a minimum, make sure your players know: Town the field is in, Field/Park/School Name, and Street Name it’s on.
Suggestion to Team Leaders: After opening this file, open a new page in your word processor, then copy-paste from this file just the
fields you expect your team will travel to, then printout that much-reduced list of fields and give copy to each of your players, along with
- of course, copy of your team's schedule and roster - and the league's website url http://www.mcssa.org Or, with each weekly game
reminder, simply copy/paste directions to the specific field for that game.
Andover - Goodale Road Field
Take Route I80 West to Exit 25 (206 North); then take 206 North about 7 miles to Andover Borough
-- You will go through a tunnel, pass a Getty station and lots of antique stores;
About 1/2 mile past the traffic light in Andover ... make a RIGHT at the Exxon Station on to Limecrest Road;
Follow Limecrest 2 miles and make a LEFT onto Lake Iliff Road (Just after Fire House);
Follow Lake Iliff Road to 1st LEFT onto Goodale Road; follow Goodale Road 1 mile - Field is on left.
Andover Borough Field
From Route 80

Take route 80 to exit 25 (Newton/Stanhope/Byram). This exit will put you directly onto Route 206 North.

Continue on Route 206 North for 5.7 miles to route 606 West (aka High Street).
--While on route 206N you will go through a rail road Trestle.
--Route 606 West will be your first left hand turn after you go through the RR trestle.

Take 606 West to first traffic light (less than 2 tenths of a mile).

At the traffic light make a left onto Route 517 South. The entrance is on your left (less than 1 tenth of a mile).
--- If you cross under the RR trestle on route 517S you have gone too far.
From Sparta

Take Newton-Sparta road to route 517 South (Pope John High School & church on corner)

Proceed on 517 South for 5.5 miles. You'll come to a 3 way stop sign. At stop sign turn right to continue on 517S.

At traffic light make a left onto route 206 South.

Take 206S approx. 1 tenth of a mile and turn right onto 517 South. (just after Getty Station on left).

The field is less than 1 tenth of a mile past your first traffic light on your left.
--- If you get to the rail road trestle on 517 South you have gone too far.
Ballyowen Golf Club/Course - See "Hamburg - Ballyowen" (previously listed under Hardyston)
Basking Ridge - Harry Dunham Park Field on Church Street
From the North or South via I287, take Exit 26 if North bound, 26A if South bound onto Mt. Airy Road south bound towards Basking
Ridge and Liberty Corner. Follow Mt. Airy to the first light and turn right onto Lyons Road. Follow Lyons Road take first right onto
Church Street (Sunoco and Amoco gas stations on the corners). Follow Church past the Liberty Corner Fire Dept, thence past Somerville
Road intersection to the park entrance, 150 yards ahead on the left.
From the East or West via I78, take Exit 33 onto County Road 525 North bound. Follow 525 north to, and turn left onto County Road
512. Follow 512 to intersection with Lyons Rd. and Church St. and turn left onto Church. Follow Church past the Liberty Corner Fire
Dept, thence past Somerville Road intersection to the park entrance, 150 yards ahead on the left.
Basking Ridge - Pleasant Valley Park on Valley Rd. (Rt 512)
I287 South to exit 26 (Mt. Airy Rd/Liberty Corner); turn left off ramp onto Rt. 525 southbound; follow Rt. 525 about 2.2 miles to 2nd
light; turn left onto Valley Rd (Rt 512); proceed about a mile to Pleasant Valley Park entrance on your left (if you come to VA Hospital,
you've gone too far). Drive into park about .4 miles (passing several parking areas, tennis courts and fields on your left) to parking at
end. Most used 'upper field - #2?’ is through trees and up hill to your right; another field, #1?, is down hill to your left (neither is very
easy to see from parking area - you gotta walk a bit!).
Basking Ridge - Ridge High School on Maple Avenue

I287 to exit marked “Maple Avenue, Basking Ridge”. Drive South on Maple Ave through 1st light to fork; bear left to stay on Maple
Ave and continue past Lord Stirling Stables on the left. Then make right into driveway immediately after Public Works Department.
Park in lot and take walkway to field on left.
Basking Ridge - War Memorial Field on South Maple
I287 South to exit 30 (Basking Ridge, not Bernardsville) onto North Maple southbound (AT&T will be on your left). Follow North
Maple south about 2 miles bearing left onto South Maple where that name change occurs. Continue on South Maple about 1 mile to
soccer field (adjacent to baseball field) and dirt parking lot on your right.
Belleville Municipal Stadium on Division Street (next to High School)
From the West, take Rte 80 East to Rte 46 East to Rte 3 East to Rte 21 South towards Newark. Take Exit 7 (Main St./Belleville exit) off
of Rte 21. At traffic light at end of ramp, make a left onto Main St. At first traffic light, make right onto Joralemon Ave. At next light,
make right onto Washington Ave. At next traffic light, make left onto Division St. Take Division St. past one traffic light (Union Ave)
and about a 1/4 of a mile up on the right hand side will be the stadium next to the high school.
Alternate from the West:
Take Rte 80 East to the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 151 (Watchung Ave). At light at end of ramp, make left onto Watchung
Ave. At the second light (a T-intersection), make a right onto Passaic Ave. At first traffic light, make a left onto Center St. Take Center
St. for a couple of miles and a bunch of traffic lights. (Some of the main intersections include
Bloomfield Ave and Franklin Ave) After Franklin Ave, at the next traffic light make a right onto Union Ave. At second or third traffic
light make a right onto Division St. Then see above.
Via Garden State Parkway:
If you are going to come via Garden State Parkway North, take exit 150 (Belleville exit) right after toll booth. At traffic light at end of
ramp, make right onto Hoover Ave. Take Hoover till it ends at first traffic light. Make right onto Joralemon Ave. Go past first traffic
light (Franklin Ave), to second traffic light (don't remember the name) but it is a T-intersection with Joralemon the crossbar of the T.
There is a gas station on the left hand side. Make a left at this light, (you can only make a left or go straight) and take this road for about
300 yards to the end and make a right
onto Division St. Stadium is on your left.
If anyone wants to use an internet directions service, look up the intersection of Division Street and Union Avenue in Belleville, NJ
07109.
Berkeley Heights - Columbia Park Field on Hamilton Ave
Via I78, take Exit 41 “Berkeley Heights, Scotch Plains”. At stop sign, turn left if coming via I78E, right if via I78W ; proceed through
first light (across Mountain Ave) onto Plainfield Ave [A] thence about .5 miles to Hamilton Avenue - just before a baseball diamond and
school on left (see small “Columbia Park” sign). Turn left onto Hamilton Ave at the “Y” and bear right across parking lot toward
basketball court. The field is the one closest to the basketball courts.
Via Rt. 22E from the west, exit for “Berkeley Heights” and I78 (just after Snuffy’s). Follow jug handle over Rt. 22 and get in left lane.
Turn left at the light onto Bonnie Burn Rd. and go past Colorado Café, through a light, past the old Runnels Hospital, under I78, and
through second light (Mountain Ave). Then follow directions per [A] above.
Berkeley Heights - Horseshoe Road FIeld

Take I78 (westbound from intersection with Rt. 24, or eastbound from intersection with I287) to Exit 43 (Diamond Hill Rd
northbound);

Follow Diamond Hill Rd. to the second(?) light and turn left, west bound, onto Mountain Ave.;

Follow Mountain Ave. to first traffic light and turn left onto Horseshoe Road; field is on right side at sharp curve.
{Alternative directions NOT verified but appear simpler and shorter: Directions above have worked fine in the past.}

I78 (westbound from Rt. 24 or eastbound from I287) to Exit 41 onto Plainfield Ave northbound;

Plainfield Ave north about 0.3 miles to right turn (north easterly) onto Horseshoe Rd;

Follow Horseshoe Rd. short distance to field on left at sharp curve.
Berkeley Heights - Passaic River Park on Springfield Ave
From 24 Eastbound: Exit 7 for River Rd (Short Hills Mall) south west bound towards Summit. From River Rd turn left after traffic light
onto Passaic Ave. Go through traffic light and turn right before RR trestle onto Constantine Place. Go straight after stop sign, merging
with Springfield Ave. Fields are three lights further on right 1 mile beyond McD’s.
From 24 Westbound: Exit 45 for Summit Ave. At first light, go left over Rte 24 through a 2nd light onto Summit Ave. At next light,
make right onto Springfield Ave. Fields are 8 lights further on right, 1 mile beyond McDonalds’s.
From I78 or Rt. 22: Follow directions for Berkeley Heights - Columbia Park Field above but go past the school staying on Plainfield Ave.
Continue down hill and across railroad tracks; at traffic light, turn right onto Springfield Ave. Passaic River County Park is on your left;
if you reach McDonald’s you’ve gone too far.
Bloomfield, Brookdale Park on Watchung Ave - Upper Field

I80 East to Rt. 46 East exit (Willowbrook Mall area);

Rt. 46 East a few miles to Rt.3 exit, right at fork (stay in right lanes);

Rt. 3 East very short distance (~ a block) to right turn onto Grove Street south bound;

Grove Street south for about 2 miles, past Brookdale park on your left, to left turn onto Watchung Ave (Marlboro Inn on right);
Follow Watchung Ave past light (Ridgewood Ave) about 500 yards to, and enter, park entrance on your left;
Proceed to parking area on left (about 1/4 mile). Look carefully for upper field on top (there are lots of fields).
Bloomfield - North Jersey Junior School Field on Clair Street
Official directions from Efraim say:
Take GSP (easiest access is probably the GSP Southbound off Route 3, just past the Rt. 46/Rt.3 intersection) to exit 151 (Watchung Ave)
- if driving north, turn left onto Watchung; if driving south, turn right onto Watchung (sounds like you want to get onto Watchung west
bound);
Almost immediately you'll see a Shell station on the right; pass the station and at next block, look for, and turn left onto, Clair Street;
Drive to end of Clair Street, about five blocks, where you will see the field(s) on your left.
Bloomfield Middle School - on Huck Rd. off Broad Street
I80 East to Rt. 46 East (Rt. 23/ Willowbrook Mall area exit) to Rt. 3 East. Exit Rt 3 right onto Grove Street southbound. Take Grove a
mile or two, past Brookdale Park on your left, to Watchung Ave (Marlboro Inn on your right). Turn left onto Watchung and follow to
right turn onto Broad Street. Follow Broad three short blocks to left turn onto Huck Road. Follow Huck to Middle School at end of
street; field is in left rear of school.
Boonton Twnshp RVA Field behind RFL Electronics on Powerville Road (Previously called "Breed" Automotive?)
Most recent directions June 2, 2004:
From the east via I80 westbound, take exit 42B, and at the second light, turn left onto Rt. 46 West;
Follow Rt. 46 west to second light and turn right onto Boulevard (Rt. 618) northbound towards Mountain Lakes.
From the west via I80 east bound, take exit 38 (Denville, Rt. 46E);
Follow Rt. 46 East to fifth traffic light and turn left onto Boulevard (Rt. 618) northbound towards Mountain Lakes.
... Follow Boulevard for 2.4 miles and, ignoring first Powerville Rd. sign continue about 1/2 mile to, and veer left onto Powerville Rd
continued at/near "James A. Lynch" Lawyer sign and a blue sign that points to Rt. 618.
Follow Powerville Rd. another 1/4 mile to, and bear right onto Rt. 618 continued (still presumably Powerville Rd.)
Follow Powerville Rd. another 1/4 mile to, and turn left into RFL Electronics entrance. Follow signs to the RVA fields; Field No. 1 is all
the way at the left.
Older directions circa 1999:
Via I287 take Exit 43 (Mountain Lakes - Intervale Rd). Upon exiting, turn left onto Intervale Road. Follow Intervale to light and turn
right onto Fanny Road; follow Fanny Rd. to end and turn right onto Elcock Rd, then immediately bear left at fork onto Powerville Rd.
Follow Powerville about 1 ¼ miles bearing right (staying on Powerville) at odd-ball meandering(s). Ahead ~ ½ mile at white & blue
sign “RFL Electronics” on left, turn left into driveway and park. Fields are behind white building.
Or via I80 East take Exit 38, or I80 West take Exit 39 - for Denville;
Merge onto Rt. 46 East and follow about 2 miles to, and take left turn, north bound, at light onto Boulevard (for Mtn. Lakes/Boonton);
Follow Boulevard 2 miles and at fork veer left onto Powerville Road.
At next fork, bear right, continuing on Powerville Road another 1/2 mile to RVA field (RFL Electronics entrance) on left.
Bridgewater - Duke Island Park
Old York Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
From Route 287
Southbound:
Route 287 South to Exit 17 (Routes 202/206). When the highways split, take 202 South for two miles and make a right onto Milltown
Road. Take the jug handle to cross back over 202 onto Milltown Road and continue to end. Make a left onto Old York Road. Duke Island
Park is on the right.
From Route 22
Westbound:
Follow Route 22 to Routes 202/206 South. When the highways split take Route 206 South. At the second traffic light make a right onto
Somerset Street. Follow for approximately 2 miles (road name will change to Old York Road). Duke Island Park will be on the left.
Eastbound:
Follow Route 22 East thru Branchburg. Make a right turn onto Milltown Road. Follow Milltown Road for one mile and bear right under
the railroad trestle. Follow Milltown Road, crossing Route 202. Follow Milltown Road all the way to the end. Turn left onto Old York
Road. Duke Island Park will be on the right.
From 206 North
Follow Route 206 North into Somerville. Take the jughandle on the right immediately after the traffic light at Somerset Street.
(Landmarks - on the right: Walgreens; and on the left: Granetz Shopping Plaza). Continue on Somerset Street for approximately 2 miles
(road name will change to Old York Road). Duke Island Park will be on the left.
Bridgewater – Clark Woods Fields
From Intersection of I-287 and I-78 (Bedminster)
I-287 south to Exit #17, 202/206 South/Somerville.

After crossing over Rt 22 overpass stay in the right lane.
Right turn immediately after high power substation. Field is beyond parking lot.
If you miss turn stay right onto 206 South split and take 1st right exit into Somerset Shopping Center.
Field is behind the Pier 1 store. Parking by guard rail.
Chatham - Cougar Field on Watchung Ave (Also called Shunpike)
Via Rt 24 (South from I287) or (North from I78) to Rt 124 - Chatham exit. Take Rt. 124 North into Chatham to 5th light and turn left
onto Lafayette Ave. Take Lafayette West to next light, then turn right onto Watchung Ave (Shunpike). Follow Watchung Ave about .3
miles to Cougar field on the right.
Chatham - Middle School on East side of Rt. 124 in Chatham
Via I287, or directly to, new Rt. 24 Southeast bound through Florham Park and Madison areas, at Short Hills Mall take “Chatham” exit.
Follow service road back over (under?) Rt. 24 to Main Street (124) Northwest bound into Chatham. Follow Main to 200 yards past 5th
traffic light; turn right into school drive.
Chatham – Shepard-Kollock Park on Henderson Road off Parrott Mill Rd off Main St (124)
Via Rt 24 (South from I287) or (North from I78) to Rt 124 - Chatham exit. Take Rt. 124 North into Chatham to Parrott Mill Road ;
Follow Parrott Mill to Henderson Road and look for field.
{Henry, these directions suck! Turn which direction onto Parrott? Which direction onto Henderson? Where’s the field?}
Chester - Chubb Park North off Rts 24/513
From Rt. 206 intersection with Rts 24/513 in Chester (Larrison's Turkey Farm on NW corner), proceed West on Rts 24/513 past Chester
Library on right to first(?) road on right; turn on to same, take through open area up into treed area and parking. Two fields are down hill
to your right {Lower field can NOT be seen from parking area - you gotta walk down a ways.}
Chester - Black River Middle School Fields on Rt. 513 (across from Bell Labs/Telcordia phone poles testing farm)
From Rt. 206-Chester intersection (Larrison's Turkey Farm on NW corner), turn east and drive through downtown Chester to Rt. 24
traffic light (Quick Pik on corner). Drive straight through light onto Rt. 513 north bound (passing Bell Labs/Telcordia phone poles
testing facility on right and Black River Middle School on left). Just past farm house, turn left into fields complex. Field is toward the
back by rest rooms.
From Rt. 10, take Rt. 513 south towards Chester about five miles. Just before Bell Labs/Telcordia testing facility on left, turn right into
fields complex. Field is toward the back by rest rooms. If you come to Rt. 24 intersection/traffic light, you missed the turn into fields.
Turn around and try again just past Black River Middle School and farm house on left.
Clinton - Bundt Park on Red Schoolhouse Road off Rt. 31
Via I78 take exit 17onto Rt 31 South;
Follow Rt 31 South past NHHS (North Hunterdon High School) on right side; go through stoplights at Regional Road (NHHS), Allerton
Road, and Molassed Hill Road; then turn right onto Red School House Road and follow same to Bundt Park entrance on your right.
From the south via Rt. 31 North, at Allerton Road make U-turn to get on Rt. 31 South; then
turn right at and onto Red Schoolhouse Road and follow same to Bundt Park entrance on your right.
Clinton - Patrick McGaheran School Field on Allerton Road off Rt. 31
I-78 West to Exit 17 on to Route 31 South. Follow Route 31 South toward Flemington to Allerton Rd (2 miles south of I-78). Take
Allerton Rd. jughandle onto Allerton Rd, crossing over Route 31. Continue on Allerton Rd. approximately 1/4 mile to school on right;
field is behind the school.
Clinton - Foran Field on East Main St
From North and West: Take I78 west to Cokesbury Rd./Lebanon (exit 20A). Take Cokesbury Rd. to traffic light and turn right onto Rt
22 West. Follow 22 West to the 2nd light and turn right onto Petticoat Lane. Follow Petticoat Lane to, and turn left onto East Main St.
Follow East Main past the correctional facility on left and dairy farm on the right. Field complex is on the right just past the farm.
From Flemington: Take Rt. 31 North to Route 78 East. Exit immediately onto Rt. 22 East. Turn left onto Petticoat Lane (across from
Honda dealer); then follow directions above from Petticoat Lane.
Clinton - Hunts Mills Park (Previously Kings Crossing) in Kings Crossing Development on Haver Farm Road
Take I78 West to Exit 17 onto Route 31 South. Follow Route 31 South toward Flemington through 1st light at Beaver Brook. At the
next light turn right onto Regional Rd (Hunterdon North H.S. will be on right). Follow Regional Rd. up and over hill till you come to the
Stop at Leigh St. Cross over Leigh St. and go two blocks to Haver Farm Rd. Turn right and then left about 50 yards further. Field is
behind houses.
Clinton - Round Valley Middle School on Cokesbury Road - North of I78 about 1/2 mile
From the East, take I78 West to exit 20B. Exit ramp bears right onto Cokesbury Rd northbound. Follow Cokesbury 1/2 mile to Round
Valley School on the right side.
From the West, take I78 East to exit 18 (Route 22 East). Follow Rt. 22 East to and take jughandle at 4th light. Cross Rt. 22 and then
cross over I78 onto Cokesbury Rd northbound. School entrance is 1/2 mile ahead on the right.

County College of Morris (CCM) - on Center Grove Road south of Rt. 10 in Randolph

From I287 get onto Route 10 Westbound; from Rts 10 & 46 Ledgewood Circle get onto Route 10 Eastbound; from points south
west try Dover-Chester Rd. (Rt. 513 north) to Route 10 Eastbound; from points north try Route 15 south into Dover then South
Morris south to right fork onto Millbrook Ave to Rt. 10 Westbound.

Westbound on Rt. 10 go past Millbrook Ave light (Dunkin Donuts) on left, and turn left (South) at next light onto Center Grove Rd
southbound (Randolph Diner on near left, south east, corner); if Eastbound on Rt. 10, go past Dover-Chester Rd (Rt. 513) traffic
light, and turn right (South) at next light onto Center Grove Rd southbound (Randolph Diner on far right, southeast, corner);

Follow Center Grove Rd about 1/2 mile to, and turn into, CCM parking entrance on your right; bear left after entering and drive to
and park at southern most end of parking area. One field at parking level is straight ahead, easily seen; other field is up on hill to
your right, above the lower field, and difficult to see, except for fence, from parking lot.
Croatian Field – Boonton

The field is in Montville proper. When using a GPS you can put in 164 Boonton Ave., Montville, NJ 07045. However,
sources such as Mapquest don't like that address and will not respond, please use: 3 Mars Ct. Boonton, NJ 07005. This will put
you 1/2 mile short of the Croatian field. 3 Mars Ct is directly across from the Pyramid County Park. Go 1/2 mile North of this
point (North on Boonton Ave, which is also Rt 511) and the field will be on the left. Enter through the chain link gate by the
one and only small house in the area. A small lake in the back of the house. Make sure you go 1/2 mile past 3 Mars Court and
make left and go all the way to the back on the left of the pond.
Denville - Knuth Field on Cooper Rd.
Via Route 10 West bound from I287 just past large "Pelican Sporting Goods & Outdoor Furniture" store on right at traffic light, continue
through the light and past Park road intersection to, and turn right (north) onto Cooper Rd. Two Fields, upper and lower, are ahead on
Cooper about a mile on your left. The upper field is easily seen from road; the lower field (down the hill a bit, right of parking area) is a
little harder to see.
Via Route 10 East bound from Succasunna, just past Miller Road and Pella Windows store on right, at traffic light near large "Pelicans
Sporting Goods & Outdoor Furniture" store on left, make U-turn onto Rt. 10 West bound and follow directions above.
Denville - Morris Catholic High School on Morris Ave
From Green Pond Road on North Side of I80 (Hibernia exit), take first right east bound (paralleling I80) onto Morris Ave. Follow Morris
Ave ~ one mile to school entrance drive on your left {where, pray tell are the fields?}.
Denville - Morris Knolls H.S. 9 Knoll Drive off Franklin Rd
Take Franklin Rd. North off Rt. 10 or South off Rt. 46 to Morris Knolls H.S. entrance drive on East side; take long drive up hill to
parking at rear of school; field is straight ahead down hill.
Denville - Veterans Memorial (Zeek Road) Field on Zeek Road West of Miller Rd
From Rt. 10 - I287 exit ramps West exactly 4 miles, make U-turn at "Greystone Park" sign to Rt 10 East, then first right onto Miller Rd.
(just before Pella Windows store on corner). {If you come to light at Franklin Rd. on Rt. 10, you missed the U-turn onto 10 Eastbound;
make it now, and watch for Miller Rd on your right about one mile East.} Follow Miller Rd. South towards Greystone Mental Hospital
for burned-out soccer administrators about 1/4mile to first right onto Zeek Rd. Follow Zeek Rd about a mile or so to fields on your left.
Dover - Hamilton Park Field (at East Dover Elementary School) on Rt. 46 Westbound Side {park in rear}

Using any of a zillion routes to Rt. 46, a little east of Dover (you’ll see the field, which is on Rt. 46, with big Hamilton Park sign on
north side - but park in rear, not on Rt. 46);

At east end of field, near Dover Sporting Goods on south side of Rt. 46, turn north onto Perry Street (Welding Supply store on North
East corner);

Follow Perry north (along side field on your left) to, and make next left onto, McFarlan Street. Follow McFarlan to, and turn left
into, field parking area.
Drew University - see under "Madison"
Edison - Thomas Edison Park {Previously, incorrectly called Middlesex County College}
From 287 South:
Take Exit for Route 1 South
Bare left onto Main St., Route 531 (DO NOT GET ON ROUTE 1)
Follow to end
Make right onto Woodbridge Ave. (Rt. 514)
Pass college on left & make next left onto Mill Rd.
Make 2nd left into park.
Field is in the middle of the track

For teams not familiar with Morris County roads, the Route 206 approach below is easiest. They can get to Rt. 206 southbound from I80
- e.g. GSP or I287 to I80 westbound, then at Netcong exit onto Rt. 206 south towards Flanders & Chester; or from the south, take Rt. 22
or I287 to Route 206 north towards Chester. Check a good NJ map in advance!
Via Rt. 206, about 3 miles south of I80 or 4 miles north of Chester, at traffic light turn East (left if coming from north, right if from
South) onto “Main Street - Flanders”. After short distance, bear left onto Hillside Ave (Rt. 619); follow Hillside Ave Eastbound past
small grocery store on left. At second left, turn left onto Emmans Road and follow Emmans Road 0.5 miles, watching mailbox numbers
on your left for No. 272 to small white SSC sign on left. Turn left into narrow paved entrance drive and follow long drive over railroad
tracks, past swimming pool and rest rooms to SSC parking, clubhouse and field(s) on your right.
{If you pass Ashley's Body Shop on your left, you missed the left turn onto Emmans Rd.}
From Rt. 10 in Succasunna about two miles East of Rt. 46/Rt. 10 Ledgewood intersection, take Hillside Ave (Rt. 619) {Pet store on north
east corner} Southbound all the way to, and bend right, Westbound, onto merged Hillside/Eyeland Ave (Rt. 619 on map). Follow short
distance towards Flanders and Rt. 206 past Ashley’s Body Shop on right. Take next right onto Emmans Road. Follow Emmans Road
0.5 miles, watching mailbox numbers on your left for No. 272 and small white SSC sign on left. Turn left into narrow entrance drive and
follow long narrow drive, slowly, over railroad tracks, past swimming pool and rest rooms to SSC parking, clubhouse and field(s) on
your right.
For those coming from the West (Eastbound on Rt. 46), at the Rt. 46 - Rt. 10 intersection (used to be the Ledgewood circle), pickup Rt.
10 Eastbound and make immediate ultra-sharp right turn (headed west) onto Main Street into Ledgewood. Follow Main Street through
Ledgewood (dont' blink), then take first left onto Emmans Rd. Follow Emmans Rd about 2 miles (bearing left at fork where right turn
goes up a hill, passing the Roxbury Emmans Road fields on your left, across railroad tracks, then watch for SSC mailbox No. 272 on
your right, and proceed into long drive as above.
Flemington - Barley Sheaf School on Barley Sheaf Road off Route 523
Via I287 or your favorite route to Route 202; from about the Rt. 22 area take 202 South to the Voorhees Corner Rd. traffic light
(Flemington Mall on right, Summit Bank on left). Make left at traffic light and continue down to next traffic light, and turn right onto
Barley Sheaf Road. School with field is about 1/4 mile ahead on the right.
Flemington - Lenape Park Fields on Rt. 523
Via I287 or your favorite route to Route 202; from about the Rt. 22 area take 202 South (or Rt 31 South) into Flemington. Follow signs
to Route 12 WEST through the SECOND circle (THIRD circle if you count the Rt. 12 West circle one) onto Route 523 SOUTH
(Sergentsville). Continue on Route 523 about a mile to fields on your left.
Flemington - South Estates on Londonderry Dr.
Via I287 or your favorite route to Rt. 202; from about the Rt. 22 area take 202 South (or Rt 31 South) into Flemington; through first
circle, continue out of third exit on 202 south and through two lights. After 2nd light, from right lane make first U-turn ("Raritan Ave,
Commercial Ave" sign). Now northbound on 202 take first right onto Reaville Ave. Proceed 600 yards and turn right onto Wellington
Ave, then first left onto Londonderry Drive. Field is ~800 yards ahead on right.
Florham Park - Emmit Field on Elm St.
From Rt. 10 at Ridgedale Ave intersection (East of I287 and Whippany Rd; Sandoz is on SE corner) take Ridgedale Ave South through
Florham Park across Columbia Tpk to Elm Street - about one block PAST main park entrance. Turn right on Elm street; field is ahead
~1/4 mile on right side.
Fredon - Lodestar Park on NW intersection of Rt. 94 and Stillwater Rd. south of Fredon

Take Rt. 206 north (e.g. via I80 to exit 25) about 10 miles through Andover to, and immediately after the intersection for Rt. 611,
turn left (west) onto Fredon Rd [Rt. 618] (just after" In & Out" Deli on left);

Follow Fredon Rd. [Rt. 618] westerly 2.5 miles all the way into Freedon, and turn left (south) onto Rt. 94;

Follow Rt. 94 southerly about .8 miles to stoplight and there, turn right (west) onto Stillwater Rd [Rt. 610];

Take "immediate" right (into what looks like a farm, and up short grade); Field is about 100 feet ahead on your left.
Hackettstown - Alumni Field on Willow Grove St.
Take Route I80 West to exit 19. At the end of the ramp take a left onto Route 517.
Follow 517 to a traffic light (Main St). At traffic light make a left onto Main St.
Follow Main through one light, at second light make a left onto Willow Grove St (Hess Station on Left).
Follow Willow Grove down the hill. At the bottom of hill is entrance to Alumni on Right.
Follow paved road to field.
Hackettstown - Centenary College on 5th Ave.
I80 West to exit 19 (Allamuchy); turn left off exit onto Rt 517 South. Take Rt 517 four or five miles to Main St (light) and turn halfright/then left wiggle onto Grand Ave. Follow Grand Ave to left turn onto 5th Ave; follow 5th past fields on left and turn in to parking
area at next left turn.
Hackettstown - Cemetery Rd. Park {See under Independence - never heard of it!}

Take Route I80 West to exit 19. At the end of the ramp take a left onto Route 517.
Follow 517 to a traffic light (Main St). At traffic light make a left onto Main St.
Follow Main through one light, at second light make a right onto Warren St (Hess Station on Left).
Follow Warren St through one stop sign.
The entrance to the High School is on the left about a 1/4 down the road. (If you miss it don't worry, Warren St ends 50 yards later.)
Unfortunately the school is under construction, so you need to park in the first parking lot on the right and walk around the school to the
back where the largest field is located.
Hamburg – Ballyowen Golf Club Field on Wheatsworth Rd off Rt. 15 or Gingerbread Castle Rd off Rt. 23)
From south via Rt. 15, take Rt. 15 North all the way past Sparta to end of the nice four-lane highway (at a traffic light), thence continue
NW bound on crummy two-lane version of Rt. 15 1.3 miles to 3rd traffic light (Aurora Electrical Supply on far right corner) and turn
right onto White Lake Rd (the short cut to Rt. 94 North);
Follow White Lake Rd to intersection with Rt. 94 at Sussex County Vo Tech School, then turn right onto Rt. 94 north;
{If you miss the White Lake Rd shortcut turn, no biggy, just continue down hill to Rt. 94 intersection and turn right (North) onto Rt. 94
at the light.
Follow Rt. 94 North about 5 miles to bottom of "Y" in North Church area and bear left at the Y (Texaco on left side) continuing on Rt. 94
North towards Hamburg.
Continue on Rt. 94 North 0.4 miles watching for, and turn right onto, Wheatsworth Road. {If you come to Hamburg, you missed the
Wheatsworth Road turn.}
Follow Wheatsworth Road northbound one mile watching for, and turning right, into long entrance drive into Ballyowen Golf Club.
Take long drive up to top of hill (do NOT turn left onto maintenance drive) to club house/ restaurant, then follow down hill to left short
ways to limited parking and the field on your left.
{NOTE: Nice option to avoid/bypass traffic hassles at junction of I80 and Rt. 15 - IF you can get to Rt. 46 east of Succasunna and west
of Dover, is to take Berkshire Valley Rd. north all the way to Rt. 15.}
From southeast via Rt. 23, take Rt. 23 into Sussex County; go through town of Franklin past Weis Market, Shop Rite, McDonalds, etc;
Just past Weichert Realtor offices is a railroad bridge; just past underpass turn left onto Gingerbread Castle Rd (also known as
Wheatsworth Rd – if you hit Rt. 94 in Hamburg, you missed your turn, U-turn and try again);
Follow Gingerbread Rd. about 1 mile to, and turn into, Ballyowen Golf Club entrance on left;
Go all the way up past clubhouse; park in the lot; field is next to the driving range.
{NOTE: the Ballyowen Golf Club field is NOT same as the town fields located directly on Gingerbread Castle Rd.}
Hopatcong - Civic Center (Upper H.S.) Field, West off Lakeside Blvd.
I80 to Exit 28 or Rt. 46 to Rt. 631 Northbound to lake (Landing). At tee with traffic light turn left (West) onto Lakeside Blvd. Follow
Lakeside about one mile up West side of lake through two lights. Just past "Blue Coyote Bar" (previously "Instant Replay") on your
right (and just before Edsall Rd. on your right), turn left at Civic Center sign and drive up hill bearing left to field at top.
Hopatcong - Squire Road Field
I80 to Exit 28 or Rt. 46 to Rt. 631 Northbound to lake (Landing). At tee with traffic light turn left (West) onto Lakeside Blvd. Follow
Lakeside up west side of lake about 1-1/2 miles to third light and turn left onto Brooklyn Mtn. Rd.. Follow Brooklyn Mtn Rd. west to
Durban Ave. intersection (easy to miss; watch street signs carefully). Turn `right’ onto Durban Ave and proceed short distance past
Squire Rd. intersection to field sign and entrance on your left.
Hopatcong - Veterans Memorial Fields on Flora Ave
I80 to Exit 28 or Rt. 46 onto Rt. 631 Northbound to lake (Landing). At tee with traffic light, turn left (West) onto Lakeside Blvd. Follow
Lakeside up west side of lake about 1-1/2 miles to third light and turn left onto Brooklyn Mtn. Rd. Follow Brooklyn Mtn Rd. West to
Durban Ave. intersection (easy to pass; watch street signs carefully). Turn left onto Durban and follow about a mile to Flora Ave. Turn
left onto Flora and proceed ~ 1/2 mile to parking and fields on your right.
Independence (small town outside Hackettstown) - Cemetery Rd. Park

I80 westbound to exit 19; at end of exit ramp turn left onto Rt. 517 South;

Follow Rt. 517 to first stop light (Main St, Hackettstown) and turn right onto Rt. 46 West;

Follow Rt. 46 West several miles to 1/4 mile past a Texaco Gas Station and turn left onto Cemetery Rd (if you go over an overpass,
you've gone too far);

Follow Cemetery Rd about 1/2 mile to field entrance on the left side.
Jefferson – Lakeside Field off Rt. 15 Southbound
Take Rt. 15 North out of Dover or via Exit off I80 to Weldon Road overpass; make U-Turn at Weldon Rd onto Rt. 15S;
Follow Rt. 15 Southbound past "dunkin' donuts" (previously Kentucky Fried Chicken), then make right turn onto field entrance
driveway; field entrance is by food stand.

Kinnelon - Green Acres Field on Boonton Ave (Rt. 511)
I287 North to Exit 45 (Woonton St.); turn left, go under I287 through a light, up hill to red blinking light and turn right onto Rt. 511
(Boonton Ave) Northbound. Follow Rt. 511 a goodly ways to weird junction; turn right then make quick left to stay on Rt. 511.
Continue North on Rt 511 about 2.7 miles to field on left side. {Via Rt 23 North, go through Wayne and Pequannock, over I287 to
second traffic light; from left lane (gas stations on both sides), turn left onto Rt. 511 (Boonton Ave) Southbound. Follow Rt. 511 South,
staying on left at fork, about 2 miles to field on right side.}
Leonia - Overpeck County Park on Fort Lee Road (Also called Degraw Ave on some maps)
From the west, take I80 east a goodly distance (at least 20 miles east of I287) towards GW Bridge. In Ridgefield Park area where
separate local lanes break out, get in local lanes at right. At I95 branchoff, STAY ON I80 local lanes.
Take next Exit for "Leonia/Teaneck" (looks like could be about Exit #68, 69, or 70);
While exiting take first exit ramp for Leonia, which puts you on Fort Lee Road - east bound.
Continue about 100 yards to park entrance on your left. Proceed to big parking area and soccer field adjacent to it.
Refined directions:
Get off at exit 68. As soon as you get off, stay left when the road forks. Follow this under the overpasses about 400 yards to what would
be exit 70A,B & C of I95. Stay right, making sure not to get onto I95. Follow this road about 500 yards to where it splits again. Stay
right getting onto E. Degraw Ave. Then the field is about 100 yards ahead.
Livingston
No fields are yet in use in Livingston. But see under "Roseland" for Bond Force Memorial Field.
Long Valley - Califon Road Fields on Califon Road South of Pleasant Grove Road.
From Rt. 206 intersection with Rts 24/513 in Chester (Larrison’s Turkey Farm on NW corner), go West on Rts 24/513 into Long Valley
and take sharp right to stay on Rt. 24 out of Long Valley and thence up long hill to top of Schooley’s Mtn. Follow Rt 24 West about a
mile to left turn onto Pleasant Grove Road. Take Pleasant Grove Road about 2.5 miles to left turn onto Califon Rd. Proceed on Califon
Rd about .4 miles to field on your right.
Long Valley - Cobblestone Lane Field on Cobblestone Lane off Kings Highway
From Rt. 206 intersection with Rts 24/513 in Chester (Larrison’s Turkey Farm on NW corner), go West on Rts 24/513 into Long Valley
and take sharp right to stay on Rt. 24 out of Long Valley and thence up long hill to top of Schooley’s Mtn.
Follow Rt 24 West about a mile to left turn onto Pleasant Grove Road. Take Pleasant Grove Road about 1.7 miles and turn right onto
Kings Highway. Proceed on Kings Highway about .5 miles to right onto Cobblestone Lane. Field is down the lane about .3 miles on the
right behind a high pile of soil (dirt?) - maybe just a big mound.
Long Valley - Falcon on Rock Road off East Springtown Rd.
From rte 206 intersection with Rts 24/513 in Chester (Larison’s Turkey Farm). go west on Rts 24/513 into Long Valley, turn Right at
next traffic light, to stay on Rt 24. continue up mountain to next traffic light, turn right onto East Springtown Road. Make first left onto
Rock Road, then turn left at recycling center into field parking area.
Long Valley - Palmer Park/Bartley Fields on Bartley Road just past West Morris H.S.
From I80 westbound, take exit 27A onto Rt. 206 South - towards Chester/Somerville, or take Rt. 46 west to Rt. 206 South;

Follow Rt. 206 South about 4.5 miles to Flanders area and just before train overpass, and A&P on left, turn right (west-bound) onto

Madison - Bayley-Ellard Regional H.S. on 205 Madison Ave (Rt. 124) between Morristown & Madison

Take Route 24 West towards Mendham to first light (Cold Hill Road) upon entering Mendham;
Turn left (southerly) onto Cold Hill Road and follow to end, and turn right (westerly) onto Tempe Wick Road;
Follow Tempe Wick to, and take first left onto Ogden Road;
Follow Ogden to, and turn left onto Drake Road;
Follow Drake Road to end and turn right onto Franklin Road;
On Franklin, the field is on the left about five houses down.
From Chester (Route 24 Eastbound):
Take Route 24 East to and through Mendham (past center of town and past Kings shopping mall on left) to traffic light and turn right
onto Cold Hill Road;
Follow Cold Hill Road to end, and turn right (westerly) onto Tempe Wick Road;
Follow Tempe Wick to, and take first left onto Ogden Road;

Mendham - Ralston (Park?) Field on South side of Rt. 24 near the Ralston Firehouse (a new field!)
From the West and points SW or NW, via Rts 24 or 206, get to Rt. 206 & Rt. 24 intersection in Chester where Larrison's Turkey Farm
restaurant used to be. Then take Rt. 24 into and through downtown Chester to traffic light (intersection of Rt's 513 and 24). Turn right
(towards Mendham) onto Rt. 24 East. Follow Rt. 24 about 3 or 4 miles watching on your right for "Ralston Park/Field" sign and a gated,
hopefully open, entrance road - just before the Ralston firehouse (if you come to the firehouse, you missed the entrance). Follow the
entrance drive to end where fields are located.
From the East and points SE or NE, via I287 or Rt. 202, get to downtown Morristown square, wind your way around the square and exit
Northwest corner onto Rt. 24 Westbound towards Mendham and Chester. Follow Rt. 24 West out of Morristown, thence about 10 miles,
passing Lewis Morris Park on left, to and through downtown Mendham headed towards Chester. Continue PAST West field on your left
and past Roxiticus Road on left, then past the Ralston firehouse on left about 100 yards looking on the left for "Ralston Park/Field" sign
and a gated, hopefully open, entrance road. Follow the entrance drive to end where fields are located.
Mendham - WEST Field on South side of Rt. 24, Just West of downtown Mendham
From the West and points SW or NW, via Rts 24 or 206, get to Rt. 206 & Rt. 24 intersection in Chester where Larrison's Turkey Farm
restaurant used to be. Then take Rt. 24 into and through downtown Chester to traffic light (intersection of Rt's 513 and 24). Turn right
(towards Mendham) onto Rt. 24 East. Follow Rt. 24 about five miles till you come to the outskirts of Mendham. Then watch for the
West Field soccer field on your right. If you arrive in downtown Mendham, you missed the field.
From the East and points SE or NE, via I287 or Rt. 202, get to downtown Morristown square, wind your way around the square and exit
Northwest corner onto Rt. 24 Westbound towards Mendham and Chester. Follow Rt. 24 West out of Morristown, thence about 10 miles,
passing Lewis Morris Park on left, to and through downtown Mendham headed towards Chester. As you leave downtown Mendham,
watch for West field soccer field on your left.
Maplewood (South Orange Border) - “Gene Chyzowych Field” of Parker Avenue off Valley Street

From the northwest, try I287 south to Rt. 24 south/east to I78 east bound (right-most, local lanes) to Exit 49B for Maplewood onto
old Rt. 24 (Springfield Ave) east bound;

Follow Springfield Ave to 2nd set of lights and turn left onto Vauxhall Road; thence stay to right and veer right at light onto Valley
Street;

Follow Valley Street several miles (straight through first light where much traffic turns right) to 5th light, and turn left onto Parker
Ave (gas station on right and Columbia H.S. further up on right);

Follow Parker Ave under a train trestle, then turn right into second driveway, which is entrance to field.
Millburn - High School on Millburn Ave.
Take new Rt. 24 (south from I287 or north from I78) to Exit 8, Millburn/Summit; exit eastbound . Going south parallel to Rt. 24, staying
in left lane follow your nose to third light (Scotties Restaurant on left) and turn left onto Millburn Ave {Rt. 527}. Follow Millburn ave

Get to Route 46 a mile or two west of Dover;

At blinking traffic light, with firehouse on south east corner, turn south onto Baker Street;

Montville - Camp Dawson Fields on Jacksonville Rd in Towaco
Take I287 north to and Exit 47 onto Rt. 202 North;
Follow Rt. 202 North a little over a mile, passing Towaco train station on right and Towaco Post office on left;

After Citgo gas station on left, turn left onto Jacksonville Road (also called Towaco Rd and County Rt. 504);
Follow Jacksonville Rd. about a mile to fields on the left. There are reportedly two unlighted fields - of excellent quality turf for which
players wear regular grass soccer shoes.
Montville - Community Center on Changebridge Rd
I287 North just past Boonton to exit for 202 N; follow 202 N short distance to gas station and turn right (South) onto Changebridge Rd.
Fields are ~1/2 mile ahead on left side. {or, take North Beverwick Rd. from Rts. 46/80 North to end and turn right onto Knoll Rd. At
end of Knoll Rd. turn right onto River Rd and then left at first light onto Changebridge Rd. Community Center is ~ 1/2 mile ahead on
right side.} Several nice fields are behind and alongside the main building parking area.
Morris Plains - Warner Lambert Co. on Rt. 53 (Mt. Tabor Road) South of Rt. 10
From Rt. 10, west about a mile from the Rt. 202 intersection, exit southbound onto Rt. 53. Proceed south on Rt. 53 about 1/2 mile to
Warner Lambert field on your right, just before the first building.
Morris Plains - Frelinghuysen School on Jane Way off W. Hanover Ave
{There are several fields around the school - in front, at sides, and in back. }
From the North via I80 or Rt. 10 , take Rt. 202 (Speedwell Ave headed toward Morristown from Rt. 10) several miles through Morris
Plains and beyond another mile or so to right turn onto West Hanover Ave. {From the south via Rt. 24, take exit 1A toward Morristown
then first right onto Hanover Ave and follow several miles to and across Rt. 202 (Speedwell Ave).} Follow West Hanover West to
second traffic light (ball diamond on Southeast corner), turn left into school entrance (Jane Way). {If you're coming via West Hanover
Ave from the West (e.g. from the Sussex Turnpike terminus in Mt. } Three fields are ahead on your left past the baseball field.
Morris Township - Ketch Road Field just South of West Hanover Ave.
Take West Hanover Ave, West bound from I287 a couple miles west of Rt. 202 (Speedwell) - or East bound from Sussex Tpk. in Mt.
Freedom to the Ketch Rd. traffic light just west of Greystone Hospital complex. Turn south on Ketch Rd, then follow just past
apartments complex on right about 500 yards to field on the right side
Morristown - Villa Walsh Academy on Western Avenue (Opposite the Armory)
Try I287 to exit 35 for Morristown. Go west on Rt 124 to Morristown Square; exit the square at Northwest corner onto Rt. 124
continuing westbound toward Mendham. Take second left (~100 yards after the square and just past the M.C. Courhouse on left) onto
Western Ave. Follow Western ave about two miles to Villa Walsh Academy on left side (opposite armory); bear right up the driveway to
field.
Mount Arlington - Fireman's Field on Alterbrand Ave. north of Howard Blvd, next to water tower

Get to Howard Blvd north-west bound toward Mt. Arlington/Lake Hopatcong (via I80 to exit 30, or Rt. 46 about a mile east of Rts
10 & 46 intersection (the old circle);

Follow Howard Blvd north-west bound exactly 2.2 miles past I80 connection, passing Pub 199 on left side to, and turn right onto,
Alterbrand Ave. {At messy 4-way intersection with sign on left that says "Bertrand Island, Landing, Espanong." Easy to miss; be
prepared to jam on brakes - or make U-Turn.

Follow Alterbrand up pretty steep hill to field at end on left side near to huge water tower at top of hill.

out of Parsippany, turn right onto Intervale Rd). Follow Intervale North to first fork (mailbox in intersection) and bear left onto Midvale.
Follow Midvale under stone RR bridge and go right after bridge onto Morris Ave. Take 2nd left onto Briarcliff Rd. Follow Briarcliff and
turn right onto Bellvale (2nd right at top of hill) then turn left into parking behind the school. Paved walking road behind baseball
backstop leads down to field, or carefully follow any of several very steep paths down to field, which can NOT be seen from the parking

Mountain Lakes High School on Powerville Rd
From South of Boonton:
I287 North to exit #44 (Main Street Boonton). Follow exit ramp to stop sign, turn right onto Washington Street (which is Main Street).
At second light turn left onto Morris Ave. (Division Street goes to the right). At the 4 th street, Powerville Rd turn right. The high school
is about ¼ mile on your left. The soccer fields are behind the school, sometimes hard to see.
From North of Boonton:
I287 South to exit #45 (Boonton, Myrtle Ave.). Turn left at end of exit ramp. Look for the China Inn on your right. The next light is
Main Street. It will be either three or four lights from the exit ramp (* there will be a new light put in on Myrtle Ave. once the huge A&P
is done. This light will make it four lights.). Turn right onto Main Street. At next light turn left onto Morris Ave. (Division Street goes
to the right). At 4th street , Powerville Rd turn right. The high school is about ¼ mile on your left. The soccer fields are behind the
school , sometimes hard to see.
Mountain Lakes - Midvale Field on Midvale off Interval Rd.
From I80 take Cherry Hill Rd. exit in Parsippany and follow Cherry Hill north across Rt. 46 to Intervale Rd (or from Rt. 46 Westbound


Follow Rt. 517 North about 3 miles to Ogdensburg Grammar School and field on left side;

Turn left, across from Gulf Station, into field parking area.
Orange - Orange Park on Center Street
From the west:

Take I280 Eastbound towards Newark (e.g. I80 through Parsippany to I280);

Follow I280 about 15 miles to, and take, Exit 11 for Orange (Day Steet/Essex Street/Center Street);

Turn right (Southbound ?) onto Center Street;

Follow Center Street past Walgreen's Pharmacy to Orange Park Field on left side.
From the east:

Take I280 Westbound (e.g. pickup from Turnpike or GSP to Exit 145);

Go past the exit for East Orange (Clinton st/ Harrison) to, and take, Exit for ORANGE (Day St/Essex St/Center St)

At the exit ramp there is no left turn onto CENTER STREET; instead make the next left onto Day Street, and then turn left at the

Parsippany - Green Acres on South Beverwyck Rd. {There is no water at this field - bring plenty of your own.}
From I80 Eastbound, take Exit #45 (Lake Hiawatha/Whippany) onto Beverwyck Rd. Turn right (South) on Beverwyck and proceed
about 100 yards to field on left behind bushes across from firehouse. If you miss the first entrance, there's another shortly beyond it. Be
careful upon entry - car area is cramped and there are lots of kids, and players running around.
From I80 Westbound, there is no exit for Beverwyck Rd. Try first exit for Parsippany onto Rt. 46 West; follow Rt. 46 west to
Beverwyck Road (Applebee's on far left corner); then turn left onto Beverwyck and proceed across I80 and another 500 yards to field on
left behind bushes across from firehouse.
If you miss the first exit for Parsippany/Rt. 46 West, you can take the second exit for Parsippany and then turn right onto Rt. 46 East;
then Follow Rt. 46 East back to Beverwyck (Applebee's on near right corner); turn right, cross I80 and field will be on your left as above.
Parsippany- Cranberry Park
Route 80 west, past Route 287 to next exit -Cherry Hill Rd. Go North 1/4 mille TO Route 46. Make left on Route 46
( West For 1/4 mile up hill to light. Stay right & get off @ Lackawanna & cross over Route 46. On Lackawanna for 100 yards bear left
onto Walsh drive. Go 1/4 mile & bear right onto Interpace, then go to end up dirt road hill to the new Cranbury Park.
Parsippany - Jannarone Field
From the East going Route 80 West
Exit 47 (Parsippany) to Route 46 West towards Denville. Go 9 traffic lights. Right before the 9th
light, bear right onto the Lackawanna Avenue U-turn. Cross over Route 46, onto Lackawanna
Avenue. You will go by TGI Friday’s restaurant on your left. After Friday's, bear left onto
Interpace. Make a right onto Walsh Dr. Stay on it to the end, as it ends at Cranberry Rd. There
is a new construction road; drive up the hill. The field is behind the hills.
From the West going Route 80 East
Exit 42 onto Cherry Hill Road. At 2nd light make a left onto Route 46 West toward Denville. Go
approximately 1 mile before the light make a turn onto Lackawanna Avenue. Cross over Route
46. onto Lackawanna Avenue. You will go by TGI Friday’s restaurant on your left. After
Friday's, bear left onto Interpace. Make a right onto Walsh Dr. Stay on it to the end, as it ends
at Cranberry Rd. There is a new construction road; drive up the hill. The field is behind the hills.
From Route 287 North or South
Take Route 80 West and follow directions for Route 80 going West
Parsippany - Lake Parsippany Park on Murray Court off Halsey Rd
Take Rt. 202 (Littleton Rd) north from Rt. 10, or South from Rts 46/I80, to Halsey Rd (Gulf station on corner). Turn East on Halsey;
follow Halsey to fork at traffic light. Bend right at fork (staying on Halsey). Watch for and turn right onto Murray Court; follow Murray
Court to end, where there is one soccer field and parking. {Word has it that this field is now used exclusively for softball/baseball and is
no longer available for soccer.}

Parsippany - Old Troy Park Field on Reynolds Ave
This is a Morris County Park Commission field - and is generally NOT available for soccer in the summer on weekdays - because it's
used exclusively then for soft ball. In any case, directions to this field are identical to those for Parsippany - Reynolds Ave fields below,
except that it is about 1/4 mile farther west and on the opposite, south, side of Reynolds Ave.
Parsippany - Reynolds Ave Fields
From Rt. 10 at first light East of Whippany Rd (Rt. 511), take Troy Hills Rd. north, which becomes South Beverwyck Rd. to tee and bear
left onto Reynolds Ave. From I80, take South Beverwyck Rd southbound (as above past Parsippany Green Acres field) to fork and bear
right onto Reynolds Ave. Headed west on Reynolds Ave, watch for St. Andrews Lutheran Church on your left; fields are on your right
across from church.
Parsippany - Smith Field next to Rt. 46
At juncture of I287, I80 and Rt. 46 take Rt. 46 Eastbound. Take first right after Burger King onto Baldwin Ave, thence first left into
Smith Field parking area. If you pass the field on Rt. 46, you missed your turn; make U-turn at next light (Beverwyck Rd.) and try again.
Parsippany - Veteran's Field on Rt. 46 at intersection with Vail Road
Via I80, near the I287 connection, exit for Parsippany - Rt. 46 East; with luck you'll arrive at Rt. 46 almost directly across from the big
Jersey City Reservoir.
Follow Rt. 46 east-bound about 500 feet to the Vail Road intersection on left; field will be immediately on your right (where the old
trailer park used to be) and should be quite visible. There's a white pavillion/gazebo.
This is a "turf" field due for availability in latter June 04; it has (will have) lights and thus, presumably game slots at 6:30 and 8:15PM.
The park is between Cerbo's & Bennigans
Parsippany - Volunteers Park on Seminole {Following are NEW directions to lots of easy parking AT the field!}
From I80 Eastbound, exit at Beverwyck Rd (first exit, #45, East of I287 interchange). Upon exiting, turn left (North) onto Beverwyck
and proceed to and straight through busy intersection with Rt. 46. Continue Northbound on Beverwyck to second traffic light and turn
right onto Lakeshore . Follow Lakeshore five or six blocks to, and turn right onto Seminole. Follow Seminole short distance to and turn
right into park entrance and parking. The field is at the right of the parking area.
From I80 Westbound, there's no exit for Beverwyck. Try first exit for Parsippany onto Rt. 46 Westbound. Follow Rt. 46 West to the
intersection with Beverwyck Rd. Turn right (North) on Beverwyck Rd, then follow Beverwyck Northbound to second traffic light and
turn right onto Lakeshore . Follow Lakeshore five or six blocks to, and turn right onto Seminole. Follow Seminole short distance to and
turn right into park entrance and parking. The field is at the right.
{If you miss the first I80 westbound exit onto Rt. 46, you can use the next exit, which will put you on Rt. 46 west of Beverwyck., in

passing Middlesex Mall, Pizza Hut and MacDonald's all on the left. At 6th


Take Garden State Parkway (GSP) southbound for virtually all MCSSA teams, well past I78 and Union Toll Plaza to Exit 135
(about 10 miles south of the Union Toll Plaza);

Randolph - Brundage Park - Sussex Ave field (backup field used occasionally; has lights for 8PM games)
Get to Route 10 west bound from I287 (exit 39A if northbound on I287, or exit 39B if southbound).
Follow Rt. 10 west about seven miles, passing mall on your right with Staples, K-Mart & PathMark - then up long hill to, and take right
turn exit immediately after Nagel's Candy Barn on your right, then left onto Millbrook Ave southbound.

From Rt.10-Millbrook Ave intersection (one light East of Center Grove Road & Randolph Diner), take Millbrook Ave southbound
towards Mt. Freedom (but NOT to end, which is Sussex Tpk) about one mile past Town Hall on left and Schools on right - to Freedom
Park fields complex on left side.
Turn left into the complex and proceed to parking in rear area.

Circle), take Millbrook Ave. South about 4 miles into Randolph, past Municipal Building and High School all the way to end (tee and
light at Sussex Ave.);

Turn right (west) onto Sussex Ave and proceed short distance past miniature golf course on right to Calais Rd just before Sunoco
Gas station on left;

Turn left onto Calais Rd and proceed about 1/4 mile past Randolph Library on left to next building on left (both buildings are red
brick structures).
Rockaway - Norway Field on Green Pond Road North of I80
From I80 (Hibernia exit), take Green Pond Rd. North about 4 miles to small sign in shrubbery on your right side. If you come to a bunch
of school buses on your right, you've gone too far.
Roseland - Bond Force Memorial Park, Lynn DeBell Field on Fernwood Ave
Via I280 take Exit 4A onto Eisenhower Parkway south-bound;
Follow Eisenhower to first traffic light and turn left (north east-bound) onto Eagle Rock Ave;
Follow Eagle Rock about 1.2 miles, passing under I280, passing through intersection with Passaic Ave. , passing through traffic light at
unnamed street (see firehouse to left at end and sign "Bond Force Memorial Park" to, and make, next left onto Fernwood Ave (there's no
traffic light).
Follow Fernwood short distance to, and see, field on your left at end of Fernwood - just before road becomes smaller drive into golf
course.
Just before the field, there's a paved foot-path that cars should presumably NOT be parked on!
Roxbury - Emmans Road Field, Southwest of Ledgewood Rts 10 & 45 Intersection (previously circle)
Check a map for the zillions of routes to what used to be the Ledgewood Circle where Rt.10 Westbound terminates in Rt. 46 - a mile
West of Succasunna. Exit the Rt.46/Rt.10 intersection on smallest road (the one just before Rt. 10 East bound), Main Street, which turns
Westerly into and through Ledgewood. Then, turn left (South) onto Emmans Road; at fork with Mountain Road, bear left to stay on
Emmans. Follow Emmans beyond fork a mile or so to fields on left.
Roxbury - Horseshoe Lake Field on Eyeland Ave and Righter Road
From Rt. 10 in Succasunna, take Eyeland Ave south about a mile to Horseshoe Lake and Municipal Buildings on your left. Turn left into
Municipal complex; field with lights is on your right at rear of buildings. Additional fields are farther West in the complex - best
accessed by continuing on Eyeland Ave PAST the municipal buildings entrance to left turn on Righter. A short distance ahead; then turn
left into fields area parking.
Roxbury - Lincoln-Roosevelt School Field on Hillside Ave & Meeker
From Rt. 10 in Succasunna, take Hillside Ave (one light West of Eyeland Ave, and a few lights East of Ledgewood Circle)
North two blocks to Meeker. Just before school on your right, turn right onto Meeker, and then take first left into school parking area;
field is on your right as you enter.
Sparta - Station Park Fields on Station Rd
From I80, Rt. 46 or Rt. 10 (in the Dover area) go North on Rt. 15. Follow Rt. 15 North, about 8 miles past I80 connection and Exit #34B

Follow Rt 94 North about 7 miles past the Sussex County Vo Tech school on right side (hemi-spherical buildings), PAST Walkill
Valley H.S. sign on your left to traffic light, fork where Rt. 94 continues to left up incline over bridge, and turn right onto
Wheatsworth Road.

Follow Wheatsworth Road about 1/4 mile to field on your right.
Wanaque – Back Beach Park Fields
From 287 North
 Take Exit 55.
 At the end of the exit ramp, make a RIGHT at the light onto Ringwood Ave.
 Follow Ringwood Ave. for approx. 1 mile and make a RIGHT on 4th Ave.
 There will be a Valero Gas Station and a Lakeland Bank at the corner of the turn
 Follow 4th Ave. until the end
 Make a LEFT at the stop sign.

I 80 to Route 23 North {See Note below}. Go about 2 miles and. exit right onto Newark Pompton Turnpike (by Mother’s);

On Newark Pompton Turnpike, cross over Route 23 and go to the second street, and make left onto, Ryerson Ave;

Follow Ryerson through the woods, kind of winding/scenic, all the way to end where field is on your right.
This private, renowned field is lightable for, typically, 8PM evening games. There's a great bar/restaurant - but no grass on the field; it's
packed dirt, so you may also want to bring turf shoes.
Note: On I80 Eastbound, their is NO direct exit for Rt. 23 North. You need to go to and take next exit after crossing Rt. 23 (Totawa?),
turn left, then left again back onto I80 Westbound, and then exit onto Rt. 23 North. Similarly, when returning after game, there is NO
direct exit from Rt. 23 South onto I80 Westbound; most folks simply exit onto and return via Rt. 46 West.
Wharton – McKinnon School [Actual name is "Marie V. Duffy Elementary School"] - on Lafayette St.
{Why on earth the school behind which this field is located is called "McKinnon" is beyond reason - there's not a sign anywhere with that
name (perhaps that 'was' the school's name years ago). A pretty big sign with a green band at the top in front of the school says
something like "Wharton Public School" and bigger letters on the front of the red brick building say "Marie V. Duffy Elementary
School." So, when watching for this school on the north side of Princeton Ave, look for "Marie Duffy" - not McKinnon.
Just to confuse everyone more, the actual name of the field is "Wilfred "Bricky" Hosking Park" shown on a very small plaque on
Lafayette St. in front of the field , but you won't see that sign till you've parked at the field. Though located behind the Marie Duffy
school, the field is actually a Wharton Recreation Dept field - not the school's.
From the South (Dover area) via Rt. 46

From Rt. 46 just west of Dover, at first traffic light west of Dover (across from Hurd Park, at Elks Club), drive north on Princeton
Ave. toward Wharton; after about three blocks, Princeton curves westerly (left) and becomes East Central Ave west bound.
CAREFUL - Princeton is loaded with monstrous speed bumps that can easily disembowel any vehicle;

Follow East Central Ave westerly to first street past (west of) Marie Duffy school on right (north) side;

Turn right (north) onto Lafayette St; field is ~500 yards on right. Park on Lafayette St. or very small parking area.

If you come to Main St, you missed the turn onto Lafayette St.
From the North via I80/Rt. 15
a) From I80 Westbound, take Exit 34A (Wharton/Rt. 15 South) onto Rt. 15 South;
b) From Rt. 15 South, turn right (west) at first traffic light onto Dewey Ave;
c) Follow Dewey to, and turn left at, next traffic light onto Main St (presumably sort of southbound);
d) Follow Main St through Wharton, watching for, and turning left (easterly) onto East Central Ave;
e) Continue easterly on East Central Ave about six blocks watching for, and turning left (north) onto, Lafayette Ave just before Marie
Duffy School on your left; field is ~ 500 yards ahead on right side.
From I80 Eastbound, take Exit 34A (Wharton); turn left at the off ramp onto Main St. then follow (d) and (e) above.
