Oldest Counties (Median Age, Head of Household)
Florida contains 16 of the 25 oldest counties in the U.S., including all of the top 12. Three Pennsylvania
counties join the retirement havens on the list, a sign of the nation’s ongoing migration away from former
industrial centers.
