Lauralton Hall was established in 1905 and is owned and sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy. It is a Catholic, independent college preparatory school open to young women who are seeking a challenging high school program. Admission is gained by examination, strong past academic performance and standardized test scores as well as by recommendation. Located in the center of Milford, Connecticut on a spacious campus, Lauralton Hall serves approximately 465 students, grades 9 through 12 from both New Haven and Fairfield counties. All faculty hold a Bachelor’s degree with 85% holding advanced degrees.
