Below are suggested sessions organized by Strand. Feel free to attend the sessions that are
appropriate to your interests and needs provided you have the prerequisite skills. This document
will help guide you in your choices. Sessions with prerequisite skills are in blue. Refer to the
document Session Descriptions online at www.inresonance.com/iru/schedule for detailed
information on each session.
PORTAL Strands: There are two offerings. If you are new to PORTAL and want to start at the
beginning, then follow the New to PORTAL strand. If you have some experience but you’d like to
better understand how PORTAL manages the admission funnel and reporting as well as increase
your ability to create letters or reports, follow the PORTAL Experienced strand. Be sure to pay
attention to prerequisites when choosing sessions from the Customizing Your Solution strand.

GENERATIONS sessions that are relevant for you with some of the customizing sessions. Be sure to
pay attention to prerequisites when choosing sessions from the Customizing Your Solution strand.

Customizing Your Solution (User Type 2) Strands: If you are brand new to Layout mode (Type 2
customizing), the Beginning Customizing strand is designed to give you the basics for extending your
solution by building new letters, lists, sub-summary reports, etc. If you have some experience in
Layout mode, then deepen your skills by following the Intermediate Customizing strand. Sessions
