Project Manager for RD Laboratories
VikingGenetics is looking for a new Project Manager for RD laboratories. The project manager
has a biological background as candidate or a PhD. Education in biomedicine, biology or similar
education is preferred, and you are experienced in conducting laboratory tests and trials. Our
new Project Manager has project management skills as well. Focus is on professional expertise
in cell biology and the use and handling of modern lab equipment, e.g. flow cytometry for
conventional analysis and in special use for sorting. Team spirit is an important part of the job
and we see it as a prerequisite in creating valuable results and solutions in our labs in Finland,
Sweden and Denmark. Primary working place is in Assentoft, but you will have many working
days in Finland and Sweden due to the close collaboration between labs in all three countries.
Because of the job’s importance in development and standardization of our lab methods across
departments and across our three countries, we search for a qualified person that in addition to
professional skills also has good abilities in communication and interpersonal skills.
Main tasks for the new Project Manager will be as follows:
 Validation and test of new methods in conventional and sorting labs
 Optimization and standardization of all labs in VikingGenetics with special focus on handling
and management in relation to QC procedures and special optimization of our sorting
procedures
 Education and training of staff with focus on standardization of methods and processes
 Follow up on quality assessments with special focus on analyzing fertility results
 Project manager in conducting trials
 Contact to external partners and collaborators
 Information and communication on results is important due to coordination of work in our
three countries
