Detail
In order to be effective, this form must be filed before the office has completed the preparations
for publishing your application under Section 16(1) of the Patents Act 1977. The restriction will
not be effective after the grant of a patent on the application.
Next steps
When we receive your request, we will:



tell you when we deal with it
publish the restriction at the same time as we publish your patent application
tell you about any requests to access samples of the biological material
The restriction will end when we grant the patent or if it is withdrawn or refused.
