Class of ’86 biographies
Kevin Adams…has been married to Bridget for 17 years. They have 3 children, Joshua
(16), Ashleigh (14) and Jeremy (9). They presently live in Mesa, AZ. He received his
Bachelors in Operations Management and Master in Technology from Arizona State
University and has been working for Motorola (now Freescale Semiconductor) for 16
years. The only thing that he would change from high school was he wished he took the
time to get to know more people.
Theresa (Allen) Allen...has been married to Andrew for 18 years. They have 2 children,
Devin (14) and Joshua (7). They presently lived in Mesa, AZ. She attended Cochise
College, OWCC (F). She currently works at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office as a
Legal Support Supervisor. She has traveled to Cancun, and Jamaica. She wishes that she
had paid more attention in class instead of worrying about the guys.
Randy Barney…has been married to Debbie for 6 years. They have 7 children, Matthew
(14), Dakota (13), Austin (5), Kolby (3), Caden (2) and Briley (3 months). He attended
Prescott College and Cochise. He will obtain a bachelors degree in December of this
year. He currently works at Benson Union High School as an Industrial Tech. Teacher.
If he could change anything from high school, he would have worked harder on his
education and would have participated in more sports.
Ann (Battaglia) Roberts…has been married to Kevin for 15 years. They have 2
children, Ethan (6) and Garrett (4). They presently live in Benson, AZ. She attended
ASU and Oklahoma City University and obtained a bachelors degree and Juris Doctorate.
Dru Beeler…has been married to Sherry for 17 years. They have 2 children,
Jessica (16) and Rebecca (14). They are presently living in Peoria, AZ. Dru works for a
Concrete Coring Company as a Shop Foreman. He wishes he had listened more in
Beck’s class when he was in high school.
Annette (Bernal) Brunenkant…has been married to Tim for 6 wonderful years. They
have 3 children, Cody Hearn (11), Sara (5) and Jacob (2 ½). They are presently living in
Marana, AZ. Annette is an elementary teacher. She’s currently a stay-home mother who
plans on returning to work when her kids go to school. She attended Pima College,
University of Arizona and obtained a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a
Bilingual Endorsement and recently obtained her Masters degree in Early Childhood with
a Reading Endorsement at Northern Arizona University. She spent 6 interesting weeks in
Guadalajara, Mexico in 1991. She really wishes she wouldn’t have dated so much and
spent more time enjoying being young and hanging out with friends.
Philip Bridgeford (AJ)…has been married to Denise for 5 years. They have 1 child,
Socrates (3). They are presently living in Sahuarita, AZ. Philip recently obtained an
Associates degree in Psychology and is continuing his education at the University of
Arizona. He currently stays home while he goes to school. He married his wife in Maui
in 2000. An interesting part of his life was a career in modeling for Vogue magazine,
which ended up being boring so he gave it up to pursue his real dream to educate himself
and have a family. He really wishes he had better educated himself in high school.
Wendy (Camin) Deuschle…has been married to Jim for 5 years. They have 4 children,
Kymber Keith (18), Marshel Keith (15), Shanaya Deuschle (5) and Tyler Deuschle (2).
They presently live in Delta, Colorado. She attended Cochise College. She currently
works at home for a medical transcription business. She would not have changed a thing
about high school. She would not have had the wonderful things in her life without
following this path. Because of this, she learned many lessons that she has taken with her
along the way.
Mary (Collins) Hanneken…has been married to Mark for 2 months. They don’t have
children at this time. They presently live in Arlington, VA. They also have a second
home in Maui. She studied Elementary Education at Boise State and Northern Arizona
University and has a minor in Physical Education. She currently works as a Library
Media Specialist. She’s traveled to the Bahamas, Thailand, Spain, Austria, Budapest,
Italy, Turkey, Mexico, Canada, Greece, Crete, England, France, and Tahiti in the last 20
years. She was recently married in Maui. She really wishes she had worn sunscreen
while she was in high school.
Chad Curtis…has been married to Candace for 15 years. They have 3 children,
Corazon, (11), Cassidy (10) and Chad jr. (6). They presently live in Ada, Michigan. He
attended Grand Canyon College and Cornerstone. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in
Teaching. He currently teaches high school physical education. He and Candace own
and manage a horse ranch in Michigan. Their kids love to show Arabians. If he could
change anything from high school, he would live his life in Christian faith and try to be a
positive influence on all his schoolmates.
April (Daggett) Murphy…met her prince charming (Jay) while at the U of A (got a BS
in CIS) and has been married for 14 years. They live in historic downtown Phoenix and
have seven-year-old triplet girls: Sarah, Sydney, & Sienna. April has discovered that life
is short and family is “what it’s all about”, so she home schools her girls and enjoys
learning with them. She loves to eat good food and makes up for it by running. High
school was a blast and April is glad that she got all the “craziness” out of her system
before college.
Thomas Dalrymple…has been married to Nicole for 2 years. They have 1 child,
Maxwell (13). They presently live in St. Louis, MO. He attended Webster University in
Missouri and obtained a Masters degree in Business and Organization Security
Management and a Masters in Computer Information Systems Management. He
currently works as a Specialist for a Disabled Veterans Outreach Program and runs a Bed
and Breakfast. He’s been to so many places; it’s difficult to list. He really wishes he
could have changed just one evening in high school…….…..enough said.
Christine (Delaney) White…has been married to Paul for 18 years. They have 2
children, James (13) and Ashleigh (9). They presently live in Tucson, AZ. She attended
Pima Community College and obtained an AAS in Business Administration. She
currently works for MetroStudy as a Field Research Associate in the home-building
industry. She’s also busy home schooling her children. She lived in Korea and was there
for the ’88 Summer Olympics. She also lived in North Carolina when Hurricane Hugo
hit. She wishes she had more fun with her friends and gotten to know some people better
while in high school. She also wishes she had paid better attention to her grades.
Michelle (DiPeso) Owens…has been married to Dane for 18 years. They have 3
children, Chris (18), Jay (14) and Alex (5). They presently live in Show Low, AZ. She
attended Northern Arizona University and Pima College. She currently stays home with
her children as a domestic engineer. She won a trip to the ’96 Olympics in Atlanta and
got to see the women’s swim team win the gold medal for the relay. It was awesome!
She witnessed the first appearance of beach volleyball and also saw the women’s all
around gymnastics competition. She also experienced the Northridge earthquake in
California. She recently visited Hawaii and had she known, she would have visited Mary
Collins there.
Donna Eirhart…has been married to Tony for 17 years. They have 3 children, Erica
(16), TJ (14) and Taylor (9). They presently live in Tucson, AZ. She attended Pima
College. She currently works at Target as an Executive Team Leader for softlines. She
lived in Yuma for 2 years. If she could change anything from high school, she would
have gotten to know more people.
Devin Fenn …has been married to Tammy for 16 years. They have 4 children, Kalyn
(12), Kasey (10), Kyndal (7) and Denton (4). They presently live in Benson, AZ. He has
his own business, Devin Fenn Enterprise Inc. He is also a General Engineering
Contractor President. He has hunted in Alaska and says it was an awesome experience.
He had another business in Mexico for about a year. He learned a lot, but it didn’t work
out very well. If he could change anything in high school, he would have taken
computers and Spanish.
Gidget (Gonzales) Rodriguez…is single. She has 3 girls, Jessica (18), Stephanie (15)
and Melissa (12). She presently lives in Lake Havasu, AZ. She works for Staples as an
Operations Manager. She wouldn’t change a single thing from high school. Friends,
boyfriends, everything was great.
Darren Hayes…is currently single but is accepting applications. Darren has no kids he
can claim on his taxes. He presently lives in Oxnard, California. He received a
bachelor’s degree in Biology at University California, Irvine. He also received a
Master’s degree in Education at National University and is working on his second
Master’s in Molecular biology with an emphasis in Biochemistry. Darren teaches all
sciences at Pacifica high school and Anatomy at the local college on a part time basis.
He traveled to Germany, Spain, Holland, Italy, Canada and around the U.S. He spent 2 ½
years doing research on Alligators with Dr. Hicks. He has been published in the Science
Journal with the work He assisted with the monitor of Lizards. To relax, Darren likes to
play the guitar or play golf although he needs drastic improvement in both areas. If he
could change anything from high school, he would have gotten more advice about college
and possible scholarships from Mr. Valkingburg.
Rachel (Henson) Bighley…has been married to Mark for 3 years. They have 1 child,
Morgan (2 ½). They presently live in Silver City, New Mexico. She attended Western
New Mexico University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Masters of
Arts in Secondary Education. She and her husband have their own business of building
custom homes out of adobe and straw bale where she incorporates her artwork. She was
able to spend 10 days on a movie set as a “featured extra” in the film about a true story of
a female miner in Northern Minnesota. It is a landmark case of sexual harassment. The
movie is still untitled, but should be out next summer starring Charlize Theron. She’s
one of the women miners getting a tour of the mines and will be wearing dorky safety
glasses. During high school she would have liked living closer than 30 miles from
school, which kept her from participating in most school events.
Carrollea (Heil) Hubbard…is currently single. She has no children. She presently
lives in Anchorage, Alaska. She attended University of Alaska (UAA) and obtained a
bachelors degree in Aviation Maintenance and Science & Tech. She currently works for
Fed Ex as a Sr. Aircraft Tech. She remembers driving the Alcan in the Cobra and
finding and taking care of Poobear, her doggy. She finds it interesting living with her
boyfriend, Mark Murdough, who’s her coworker and ski buddy. She wouldn’t change
anything from high school.
David Iniguez…is currently single, but has a wonderful girlfriend. He has no children.
He presently lives in Glendale, AZ. He served time in the U.S. Marine Corp and had the
opportunity to travel to Hawaii, Guam, Japan, China, Korea, Australia, Kuwait, Saudi
Arabia, and many more during his 10-year enlistment period. He was involved in combat
during Desert Storm that was quite an experience. He left the Marines in 1996 and lived
in Southern California working as an IT Director until 2001 when he moved to the
Phoenix area. He currently works for a software company in Glendale, Businessware
SVCS Inc. as a Network Administrator.
Dan Jefferson…is currently single. He has no children that he is aware of. He presently
lives in Tucson, AZ. He attended Tidewater Community College. He currently works
for Convergys (CSR). He has been around the world and lived in Virginia Beach for 6
years. He doesn’t know what he would have changed in high school.
Laurie (Jennings) Whitehead… has been married to Chris for 8 years. They have 3
children, Ryan (16), Jordan (6) and Jenna (4). They presently live in Brownwood, TX.
He attended Easter Arizona College (EAC). She currently works for Porter Insurance
Agency as an Insurance Agent. She feels so lucky to have married Chris because they
have 2 beautiful girls together. She wishes that she had spent more time with her friends
when she was in high school.
Stacy (Judd) Moore… has been married to Paul for 18 years. They have 5 girls, Janessa
(16), Jershon (13), Jonalyn (10), Jerica (7), and Jorja (3). They presently live in Duncan,
AZ. She attended EAC and Western New Mexico University and obtained a Bachelors
degree in Elementary Education and Physical Education (K-12). She currently works for
Duncan Unified School District as a first grade teacher. She also helps her husband
coach volleyball. She has visited many states and historical sites in the U.S. from New
Orleans to Mt. Rushmore. She played volleyball for EAC and play in the 1986 National
Championship. She also played for WNMU. She would change nothing from high
school.
Lynette (Kading) Smith…is currently single. She has 2 children, Brandon (17) and
Candice (13). She presently lives in Vail, AZ. She currently works for Precision Toyota
of Tucson in the Administration office and does title work. She would change nothing
from high school.
Sarah (Kartchner) Clark…. has been married to Michael for 16 years. They have 2
children, Anne Elizabeth (12) and Elise (9). They presently live in Logan, Utah. She
attended the University of Arizona with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and
a Master’s degree in Language, Reading and Culture. She is beginning her Doctorate
degree in Curriculum at Utah State University. She is an author writing school
curriculum at home for 2 companies in California. She spent one summer in Alaska
working for a fish cannery during college. The only thing she would change in high
school is to be kinder to those without a friend. There were so many that needed a
helping hand and friendly smile.
David Kearney…has been married to Mireya for 11 years. They have 3 children,
Tamatha Rowe (18), Tanya Rowe (15) and Nicholas Kearney (9). They presently live in
New Winsor, NY. He attended Excelcior College in NY and obtained a BS in Liberal
Arts. He is currently busy working on completing a BS degree at West Point and should
complete it by the end of the next school year. He has traveled to Ireland, France,
Germany, Kosovo, Bosnia, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, Baghdad, and Iraq (Operation Iraqi
Freedom). He thought it was interesting when he traveled to Iraq because he arrived with
210 bullets and left with the same amount of bullets. He was surprised that he never had
to fire his weapon in anger or self-defense. He teaches Motorcycle Riders Safety in NY
State and runs a helicopter detachment in his spare time for the US Army…LOL… In
high school, he wishes that he could have participated more in Student Council and been
less reserved in talking with girls.
Aaron Kempton…has been married to Lisa for 16 years. They have 3 children, Michael
(13), Tanner (12) and Taylor (10). They presently live in Corona, AZ. He owns
Kempton Concepts as a remodeling contractor for the past 14 years. He had nothing that
he would have changed about high school.
Pat Konen…has been married to Alicia for 8 years. They have 2 children, Abigail (4),
and Jacob (2). They presently live in Charleston, South Carolina. He attended the
University of Phoenix as well as others and continues to work on his degree. He works
for Beazer Homes as a Sales Manager. He has been everywhere around the world. He
wouldn’t change anything from high school.
Marcy (Lawrence) Chase…has been married to Stuart for 12 years. They do not have
children at this time. They presently live in Phoenix, AZ. She has attended Cochise
College, Gateway Community College, Glendale C. C; and Phoenix C.C. and obtained a
degree in Business Administration. She currently works for EJ Engineering as an office
manager. If she could change anything from high school, she wouldn’t take things so
seriously. She would learn to enjoy youth; friends and she would not be so critical of
others.
Melanie (Lee) Galbraith…has been married to Gregory for 13 years. They have 2
children, Jacob (13) and Bryce (11). They presently live in Covington, Washington. She
works at Covington Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician. She would have had more
friends and been more involved in sports when she was in high school.
Mina Lee ---is single. She has 3 children, Ken (16), Nate (15) and Ed (9). She presently
lives in Kent, Washington. She works for “one of the state’s best overall hospital”,
Medical Surgery Unit. She would have been more assertive and friendly in high school.
She now realizes that people aren’t as intimidating as they look.
Sandra Leverty…is single. She has 1 child, Natasha (16). She presently lives in
Benson, AZ. She attended Cochise College, Pima Community College and University of
Phoenix. She is currently enrolled at Cochise College to pursue a degree in Business
Administration. She currently works at Benson Hospital in Accounts Receivable. She
has been to Hawaii, Cancun, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was excited to go to
Disneyworld. She worked for the airlines and traveled a lot in the U. S. She wouldn’t
change anything from high school.
Jim Lugar…is finally engaged. He has no children. He presently lives in Morristown,
AZ. He attended BSI, Gateway Community College, and Glendale Community College
and obtained a degree in Electrical Technologies and Theory. He works for Aliance
Service and Control Specialist as a Project and Service Manager. He also owns Jim
Lugar Horse Training. He is the owner of the”2003” Western Pleasure Scottsdale Grand
Champion Morgan Horse. He considers himself lucky that he survived a tornado in Ft.
Worth, TX. He said it was interesting.
Tom Macias…has been married to Katie for 6 weeks. They have no children. They
were married in Katie’s hometown of Anaconda, Montana in July. Bobby Quihuis was in
attendance. They both live in Washington D.C. where Tom is a Major in the Air Force
and is stationed at the Pentagon, where he occasionally runs into Eric Stewart. Katie is
working on her Masters in Social work from Catholic University. Tom graduated from
the Air Force Academy with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He routinely met
Cadet Andy Garrobo at the Academy. He also received a Masters degree in Business
Administration from the University of Notre Dame in 2001. Tom has been with the Air
Force since high school and has had the opportunity to travel to just about every
continent. Tom just recently returned from Africa where he ran into Jared Kartchner,
(Sarah’s brother) at the US Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria. What a small world. He wishes
he had worked harder on his vertical leap and pursued a career in the NBA.
Ann Mahanay…is single and loving it!! She has 2 children, Donny (16) and Nicole
(15). She has lived in Haysville, Kansas for 7 years. She attended the University of
Phoenix and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She currently works
for the Wichita Work Force Center as a Operations Manager. She hasn’t traveled much,
but hopes to soon. She has been busy raising her children and remodeling her house. If
she could go back and change anything from high school, she wishes she had
concentrated more on her studies.
Brian McGlumphy…has been married to Kelly for 10 incredible years (BTW…Mikey
Quirk gave the greatest BEST MAN speech at our wedding). They have 2 children, John
(5) and James (2). They are presently living in Round Rock, TX (Austin). He works at
Dell Inc. as a Storage Operations Mgr. He received his B.S. in Systems Eng from West
Point and a MBA from Texas State. He has traveled to most of Western Europe and all
over Asia on business. His fondest memory was from high school was the last couple of
weeks in school where we all had time to hang out and talk about the future and
remember the past. We were such a close class and those last weeks were
“AWESOME”, just wished he had time to keep in touch.
Kristie (McMinimy) Tatum………is single. She has 3 children Alyssa (14), Danielle
(12), and Alexis (10). She presently lives in Tucson, AZ. She attended Pima College
and the University of Phoenix and obtained a BSN. She currently works at Northwest
Medical Center as an RN-BSN-CNL. She had an interesting time living in Hawaii.
Sylvia (Meza) Telles…has been married to Dan for 14 years. They have 2 children,
Marrisa (10) and Ricky (7). They presently live in Sahuarita, AZ. She attended Northern
Arizona University and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in education. She obtained a
Masters in Education at Grand Canyon College. She currently works at Sahuarita Middle
School, teaching 6th grade Math and Science. She really wishes she had paid more
attention in class when she was in high school.
Niles Miller…has been married to Rita for 14 years. They got married in Las Vegas in
1991. They have 2 children, Brett (4) and Caleb (6). They presently live in Benson, AZ.
He attended Pima College and Northern Arizona University. He currently works for
Patio Pools of Tucson. He vacationed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in 2005. If he could
go back and change anything in high school, it would be his identity.
Colby (Iron) Nylund…has been married to Sheila for 15 years. They have 2 children,
Keegan (8) and Aydin (6). They presently live in Vail, AZ. He is currently attending the
University of Phoenix, working on a degree in Business Management. He works for
Alcoa Fastening Systems as a Supervisor. He has been to Canada, Spain, and various
U.S. cities. Everyday there is something new and interesting in his life. He wishes he
could have started his freshman year at BUHS instead of his sophomore year.
Sandra Olivas …is engaged to be married. She had been wirh Carlos for 14 years. She
has 2 children, Carlos jr. (13) and stepdaughter, Monyvette Tena (15). She currently
works at the Benson Hospital as a Dietary Cook. If she could change anything from high
school, she would have been more outgoing and less shy.
Patrick Padilla…has been married to Christi for 13 years. They have 2 children,
Nicholas (10) and Erika (8). They presently live in Prescott Valley, AZ. He attended
Central Arizona College. He works for OMI as an Operations Supervisor. He wouldn’t
have changed anything from high school.
Kynta (Price) Eagle…has been married to Roger for 8 years. They have 1 child, Talia
(2). They presently live in Tucson, AZ. She attended the University of Maryland. She is
currently a Mommy/Wife Extraordinaire. She was fortunate enough to have lived for 2
years in Southern Spain. She also visited Monaco, Portugal, England, Scotland, Wales,
Nova Scotia, and the Bahamas. In high school, she would have kicked back and enjoyed
it more, knowing that true responsibility would start after graduation.
Robert Quihuis…has been married to Cyndi for1 year. They have 5 children, Dominic
(8), Nicholas (11), Christina & Cassandra (12) and Stefen (17). They presently live in
Tucson, AZ. He attended the University of Arizona, and the University of Phoenix. He
obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Info Systems. He currently works for
Trico Electric as a Subdivision Designer. He only visits Las Vegas, because everywhere
else is boring. Has had interesting things happen, but nothing he wants to share. If he
could change anything in high school, it would be his hairstyle and clip-on earrings.
Michael Quirk…has been married to Melissa for 5 years. They have 2 children, Aidan
(2) and one on the way. They presently live in Anthem, AZ. He obtained a Bachelor’s
Degree from Grand Canyon College, and a Masters from Kirksville College. He works
for Banner Thunderbird Hospital Emergency Room as a Physician Assistant. He lived in
Korea for 1 year while in the Army. He lost both his arms and his left ear while he was
an alligator wrangler in Florida. He filled out his questionnaire with his toes (just
kidding). He would have taken more shop classes and less typing when he was in high
school. Today he is a home repair nightmare, but can sure type well.
Johonna (Rollings) Petrie…has been married to Eddie for 7 years. They have 3
children, Vanessa (19), Sarah (11) and Megan (5). They presently live in Springer, New
Mexico. She works for a public school district as a Special Education Secretary. She
wouldn’t change anything from high school. Her experiences have made her the person
she is today.
Robert Ross…has been married to Rebecca for 1 year. They have no children. They
presently live in Waldorf, Maryland. He works at Andrews Air Force Base for the
Presidential Fleet. He has visited many places and lived in Germany, Spain, Iraq, Kuwait
(Gulf War), and all over the U.S. He has also visited Australia, UK (Britain and
Scotland). He wouldn’t change anything from high school.
Billy Roubos…has been married to Stacie for 2 years. They have no children. They
presently live in Tucson, AZ. He attended Pima College/IBEW Apprenticeship. He
works for F&F Electric as an Electrician and as a Manager at DV8 Nightclub. He has
been to Germany and most of Western Europe. He is shocked that he has lived this long.
He wishes he could change his grades from high school.
Jennifer (Russell) Rivas…has been married to Jesse for 12 years. They have 5
children, Mindy (18), Matthew (16), Nikolas (13), Aysha (10), Jacki-Ann (7). They
presently live in Benson, AZ. She has obtained her CAN. She works for AccentCare
(Home-Health), but will be working for Hospice out of Tucson Medical Center where
she’ll eventually obtain her RN license. She’s visited Disneyland, Sea World, San Diego
Zoo, California Adventure Theme Park, Universal Studios Hollywood, etc. No
adventures around the world though…..#?*#!!! She’s had many interesting things
happen and if you want to know, just ask her. If she could, she would have changed her
future. She never thought her life would become so hard, but the good thing is that she’s
learned a lot from it.
Christina (Sharp) Guinane…is currently single. She has 2 children, Brandon (13) and
Codi (12). She presently lives in Benson, AZ. She attended Cochise College and
Prescott College and is working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education. She
works for Benson Public Schools as a teacher’s aide for the in-house suspension program.
She also works at the Chute-Out Steakhouse as a waitress. She wishes she had had more
self- confidence in high school.
Patsy Savino…has been married to James for 3 and ½ years. They don’t have any
children. They presently live in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended the LDS Business
College and obtained a degree in Interior Design. She currently has her own business as
a personal Chef. She lived in South Korea for 18 months and had a wonderful time. She
lived back east for two years. She enjoyed visiting Washington D.C. and New York City
Music Hall. She lots of historical sites and can’t wait to see more. If she could change
anything from high school, she wishes she would have studied more so she could quit
having crazy dreams about missing class and then having a big test.
Jude Snell…has been married to Karen for 5 years. They have 2 children, Natasha
Marie and Hunter Daylen Snell. They presently live in Cumberland, Ohio. He has
attended Washington State and a community college in the Air Force. He currently
works at the State Prison as a correctional officer. He’s also in the US Air Force as a
Reservist and works as a radio operator (RTO), Tactical Automated Security SystemOperator/maintainer (TASS). He has been involved in hand-to-hand combat. In his
spare time he serves as a rape prevention instructor and security forces member. He has
traveled to Niagara Falls, Hawaii, London, Doha-Qatar, and a couple of classified
locations. He’s had the opportunity to play with some of the latest technology used
against terrorism. It’s been quite an experience being a Master Mason in the Masonic
Lodge and training with the Rangers in Florida. If he could change anything from high
school, he would be less shy and would think twice about some of the dirty #$@*! He
did to some people.
David Staples…has been married to Dana for over 9 years. They have 2 children,
Alexander (8) and Savannah (6). They presently lived in Phoenix, AZ. He currently
works as a Foreman at Clarke Air Conditioning. If he could change anything from high
school, he wishes that he had paid more attention to his studies.
Tim Sullivan…has been married to Christy for 14 years. They have 2 children, Jessica
(10) and Jenna (5). They presently live in Tucson, AZ. He attended the University of
Arizona and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. He works for Rinker
Materials as a Universal Heavy Equipment Operator. He has visited England, Ireland
and France. He says that having 2 daughters makes every day interesting. He wishes that
he had spent more time on his education and less time chasing Rhonda Rothermich!
Kim (Treu) Godbehere…has been married to Brian for 18 years. They have 2 children,
Michelle (11 ½) and Bret (7). They presently live in Peoria, AZ. She works for Security
Mortgage as Loan Officer and is responsible for home loans. She wouldn’t change
anything in high school. She had a great time.
Kandie (Tyra) Ward…has been married to Mike for 4 years. They have 2 children,
John (12) and Vanessa (8). They presently live in St. David, AZ. She attended Cochise
College and obtained an Associates Degree. She is the manager of the Chute-Out
Steakhouse and substitute teaches for the Benson Unified School District. She would
change nothing from high school.
Steven Wilmarth…has been married to Teri for 5 years. They have 2 children, Lindsay
(4), Erin (2) and one on the way. They presently live in Benson, AZ. He attended
Cleveland Institute of Electronics. He last worked for at Northrop Grummen as a
Manufacturing Engineer but is currently on disability. He has traveled to Thailand,
Phillipines, Canada, Alaska, Hong Kong and say that both Englishman and Chinese rule.
He wouldn’t change anything from high school. Everything that he experienced is part of
who he is today.
Tessy (Winker) Stretch…has been married to Brad for 16 years. They have 1 child,
Reeves Steele (4). They presently live in Benson, AZ. She’s a mom! She has a very
important and interesting job of being a mom. She would not change anything from high
school.
Tamara (Wheeler) Young…has been married to Dan for over 7years. They have 2
children, Amy (15) and Nic (13). They presently lived in Battle Creek, Nebraska. She
attended Cochise College and Joseph College of Beauty and has a cosmetology license.
She presently runs a child’s day care out of her home. When she was in high school, she
wishes she would have paid more attention in class and applied herself.
Dawn Wink…lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her parents cattle ranch in western South
Dakota. She’s got three super kids: Wyatt (9), Luke (7), and Wynn (6). She studied
International Relations at the University of California/Davis and received a Masters in
Bilingual and Cross-cultural Leadership. The past several years, she’s focused on being a
mommy and writing. She teaches at the College of Santa Fe and leads workshops in a
variety of topics, including memoir writing, how to maintain a creative life through
motherhood, and linguistic rights for speakers of all languages. She’s passionate about
her kids, writing, teaching, riding horses, bright colors, rich textures, the desert, chile,s
the prairie, horses, and wildflowers! She still refers to Arizona as the “Holy Land.”
Shelly (Worcester) Jordan…has been married to Ed for 6 months. They have 2
children, Brittany Papiro (12) and Brad Jordan (14). They presently live in Temecula,
California. She attended Pima Community College and Palomar College. She currently
works for K. Hovnanian/Forecast Homes as a Senior Land Planning Manager. She lived
in Las Vegas for 8 years and recently married the man of her dreams. If she could
change anything, she wishes she had made better choices regarding relationships.
Alex Yourgules…has been married to Maria for 5 years. They have 2 children, Eduardo
(4) and Jessica Aylline (1). They presently live in Benson, AZ. He attended Air
University in the Air Force and has accumulated many hours of study. He holds a
position at the Arizona National Guard as an Aircraft Armament System Craftsman. He
spent over a year in S. Korea, 6 months in Saudi Arabia, Ft. Benning, GA, Ft. Stuart, and
in Virginia Beach at the Army National Guard. He was in Desert Shield/Storm for 6
months. He was activated after Sept. 11th and has been with the guard ever since. He
also helped coach The Cubs (Majors) in Benson. This was his second year as an assistant
coach.
He always wondered what it would be like to be married to this person or that person
(just like the movie, Mr. Destiny), but he’s very happy with his family. He really wished
that he played baseball instead of running track when he was in high school.
