Britni’s Reflection:
I felt this assignment was interesting because I wanted to be able to
find the information quickly, and through this activity I found myself trying to
think of the best directories to search with. The Google web engine seemed to
be most useful for me but I think this is because I am used to using it. The
most difficult thing to find for me was the identity of Paul Robeson. It was
difficult to work backwards by first finding the history of the person before you
knew who they were.
Ashley’s Reflection:
I enjoyed this activity and found it most interesting that different people
preferred using different search engines. I chose Ask.com while Britni
preferred Google. I think it was most useful using web engines that I was
comfortable with. I feel the hardest part of the entire assignment was finding
out who Paul Robeson was. I felt that this person seemed to have an
interesting past, and was surprised that I had never heard of him when I
discovered his name.
