INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OFFERING
Essential Internship Package
Our first contact are Skype conversations prior to your arrival, we offer you approximately three hours
of project development support and getting acquainted with Jiwa Damai Organic Garden and Retreat
Centre.
You will be invited to work five days per week and on those days will have daily assessment meetings
to monitor progress. Support and guidance will be given throughout your working days when needed.
We will also provide assistance in writing your final report and placement paper work. You will be
invited to attend the first available Jiwa Damai Retreat and Garden Tour.
We can also provide you with information about Bali and the local area.

You may wish to take advantage of this Essential Internship Package, if you prefer to find your own
accommodation, provide your own food, organize your own services and make your own introduction
to Bali.

Experiencing full support package residing at Jiwa Damai
In addition to the Essential Internship Package outlined above we offer more assistance helping you
settle into your new surroundings our Full Support Package.
Someone will accompany you in a half day trip around the local area and Ubud. During this time we
can help you with purchasing local mobile telephone sim cards, a trip to a local shop or ATM
depending on your needs. We can offer support in buying a mobile internet USB connection for the
internet or you may choose to use the LAN connection at Jiwa Damai for $2 per hour or $25 for a
monthly package of one hour per day.
We can provide on-site, basic accommodation in a beautiful location and three healthy meals a day,
seven days a week at Jiwa Damai Retreat Centre and Organic Garden. Accommodation and food
will be at a special discounted rate for interns.

When we have resident teachers available we invite you to take advantage of our complimentary
yoga and meditation sessions.
It is a legal requirement that Interns wishing to stay at Jiwa Damai must register with local
Banjars and Police. Although we will support you by completing the relevant paperwork, you
will be responsible for the charges.

Latest and newest requirements by Indonesian immigration in Bali
Legally no one on a social visa entering Bali is allowed to work doing an internship in Indonesia. Up to
now this was never a problem, no one objected. With a new administration this has changed and we are
obliged to apply after your arrival for a work permit month by month for each intern. The new fee for a
working permit per month levied by immigration is US$ 150.00 for a social visa holder. This legalizes
your intership.
